22  Other / Beginners & Help / How can a beginner in the forum significantly grow? on: May 11, 2023, 08:48:16 AM
As a beginner that wants to significantly grow his knowledge about BTC in particular and cryptocurrency in general so as to be able to make meaningful contributions to the forum, which of the boards and threads am I expected to regularly visit and read about them in the forum please
23  Other / Meta / Re: Do not post off-topic replies on: May 11, 2023, 08:09:15 AM
I suggest every off topic replies should be either deleted or reported. Without this action people wouldn't learn.

Some people kept posting off topic simply because they want to attain merit forgotten things aren't done that way.
Nevertheless such post should be reported and deleted
As a newbie, I've seen several off topic replies and it does totally get a reader confused. I think the best way to address this issue is for the forum to provide platform(s) where this off topic replies can be reported so that such persons can be warned of the dangers of off topic replies and if a person is reported more than three times, such person can be sanctioned accordingly. It'll help in reducing the number of off topic replies in the Forum

25  Other / Beginners & Help / Are there boards or threads that a newbie is not supposed to post in? on: May 06, 2023, 06:09:26 AM
Hello everyone.... I've seen handful of boards and threads that I can make reasonable contributions to by sharing my knowledge about some of the topics that are being discussed in these boards and threads but as a newbie, I don't wanna make unnecessary mistakes and that brings me to the question of "Are there boards and threads I'm not supposed to post in as a newbie"?

Hello everyone I'm new here.
Please what are  the fastest ways to learn about bitcoin? and how can a software development student meaningfully contribute to the forum?
I will let your first question slide as I believe it has already been answered by users above. Now, to the second question which has to do with your software development skill; there's no special way to contribute here than offer what you know or think will benefit others. Whenever there's an issue raised around what your skill can resolve, don't hesitate to proffer a solution to it.
Learning takes a lot of time so never expect to learn fast because it may seemed you’re only here for quick profits, which will never be possible to happen. And if you want to be a significant member in the forum, then always take advantage on learning everyday so that what you will know and learn, you can share it to others and benefit from your post. It doesn’t have to be perfect, just learn and enjoy in the forum, and when you think you’ve gained good skills and experiences, then share it to the forum so that they will also learned from you. That way, you’re doing your part in the forum actively.
I'm responding to the two responses to here please. Firstly I humbly commend and thank everyone here who have wholeheartedly given out their honest opinions to my question. These responses ate surely gonna help me in becoming a significant and great member of this Forum.
Going forward I'll do my best in doing everything I have been instructed to do and also looking forward to greatly contributing to the growth of this Forum in with my own knowledge. Thank Once again all, I sincerely appreciate

Hello everyone I'm new here.

Welcome. You may have heard alot of things about thos forum from different quarters. Of all those things which you may have heard, I know that the one that must have stood out the most was getting merit to advance to the next level and which makes one eligible to be accepted into a signature campaign.

What I am saying is that take your mind off merits. Because it will make you begin to spam, create low quality topics and replies, this would lead to you being on the ignore list of most members on the forum. To contribute effectively, focus on high quality post not two liner posts. Read more about bitcoin and stay up-to-date with the latest in the Bitcoin ecosystem that way, you'd be able to contribute to the conversations that go on here.
Thank you for this detailed and comprehensive response it'll surely help me in guiding me going forward.
