Would it be reasonable to assume miners will dump on the price?
Nope seeing as there is only 9 btc worth of Via mineable a day at current prices. 3600 blocks a day * 10 Via reward = 36k Via a day from miners. Current price of say 0.00025000 * 36000 = 9 BTC |

Because IPO's often were obvious scams, this clearly isn't. Just go buy some on the exchange and shut up lol
Let me clear this up. IPO is good for the future of the coin, right? No, it doesn't necessarily have any implications And the fact that the dev is caching out completely and has no vested interest in the coin also doesn't have any implications? can you please just alt-f4 the page now you have made your post and got your concerns/opinion across you are now just repeating yourself over and over again and drowning out other voices. |

your windows wallet is too damn complicated to set up. Im not a programmer and Im having no success with this .conf file. make this user friendly. Ive got to pull my miners off this now.
It has not launched, qt wallet is not even out yet mining will begin in 1-2 days. If you are using the Vialectrum wallet that was set up so people could set up a Via address and receive their coins from ICO |

New step on premine. Hidden/silent IPO  Buying the most coins by itself(first step), then refer to last price 0,00006(second step) and put to pump&dump exchange (bittrex)(third step) = profit  The NXT, cripty, Sys and many others ipo's were/would much more fair, then your one. If you have a real good product, why do not you sell it openly  There are two reasons - you haven't any good product or you have decided to release a coin with huge premine. So there was a premine,then instamine. Now we have IPOmine wow so much wrong with this post, ICO was not hidden, it was open for 8 days and well advertised, PRICE EVERYONE paid was the SAME does not matter if you got in at the beginning or the end of the ICO. |

I think that you are a scam that is trying their hardest to scare investors into selling under 60k sats when it hits bittrex, prove me wrong  I just want to see whether the dev will dump this coin to 1 satoshi.This is what I am interested Then sit, watch and stay silent until you have something interesting to say. Always sit here  This is the problem I have with posts like this, you are quite happy to mine and support shit coins from newbie devs with zero activity but when someone active in the community with history steps up and tries to produce a coin your all over it trying to spread FUD, if someone tries to say something you post something like that, like their opinion is worthless its quite easy to build up a high activity and post count if all your saying is FUD so I would not judge someone by that. |

when is the mining launch of the coin?
Keep watching this drama .Finally time will prove it is a scam.I think maybe dev just send most of the btc to his own address. For example: dev ipo by himself 400/550 btc and the others totally get 150/550 When the distribution finish.Dev take 150btc away and dump more than 70%.People will suffer a lot. Dev can not prove himself didnt take part in the ipo right? Just one possiblilty.Good luck guys. This is why a moderated thread is needed. People are tired of reading this type of vacuous opinion, that goes around in pathetic circles. +1 |

Bought into RDD at 4 satoshi best decision ever, good developers + patience = happy me. I am in no doubt this coin will continue to grow over the next few months, with POSV and the Social Wallet coming out things can only get better. Contribute to the community at reddit.com/r/reddcoin and don't panic at the price swings all part of the crypto world we live in who remembers the 2 satoshi days hehehe. |

This coin does not need to fail, we have a developer that has delivered every promise and feature, I can understand he must be deeply de-motivated right now but the skill set he has shown and features are all
developed and shown to be working well they can easily be adapted to suit the many other aspects other the League of Legends like a wider range of Esports totally devoid of specific game titles. I don't want to see
your hard work go to waste stick with the community take on the community advice (if good) and ideas and we can build a stronger coin than before

@btcdrak once I get an official statement about your presale involvement AND a statement about any quid pro quo involvement, I'll simply go-away...I promise there will be no "lying" accusations, etc. I simply want a statement to go on the record, and then you'll hear from me no more.

ThanksbtcdrakThat's a fair question and I have no way to prove my answer. I *totally* understand how skeptical people have become because of the daily scams on BCT. Personally, the only presale I have participated in was Maidsafe and even that went terribly wrong despite their intentions. Anything can happen in crypto. I am running this initial coin offering for a few reasons, the first is because I believe it is the best way to bootstrap a coin and the 'coin economy'. As an experienced trader I know how coins get abused at launch and what whales are capable of. If you have ever read any of my pastebins, you'll have some idea of this. As a developer I am aware of a myriad of ways to hide a premine and are a lot more easy than going through all the rigmarole of writing dedicated presale software. The second reason is I wanted bootstrap the project because frankly, I believe if it can't raise a decent sale value, then maybe it's not worth my time. I've had this idea since October 2013 and for one reason or another I never got around to implementing it, and a lot of innovations have come along in the meantime, but they still did not address my original concern. I am glad I waited however, because all good ideas should build on the shoulders of proven innovations (which is exactly how Bitcoin came into being). So my intention is to mine the coin and run a mining pool.FWIW: I am also taking a lot of personal risk with this coin launch. It takes a long time to build reputation, and minutes to destroy. Re posting for anyone in question. I happen to know btcdrak for more than 10 years and can honestly say that I have the highest regard for him on a personal, ethical and technical level. His word is good enough for me. If you bought into the ICO, then presumably you understand the potential of this coin. So just be happy that you bought in and that you've probably made a good investment. There are of course no guarantees, but this coin has a solid developer who is not out to screw people over. I'm quite certain of that. Now please stop sowing doubt. FUD has killed a good many coins and we don't need it happening here. The quoted statement above should be good enough for you. If it's not, then contact one of the people on this thread who have offered to buy your coins at ICO price and move on to (presumably) greener pastures. Very Wise words |

by what stretch of logic (or the English language) is that a formal statement saying that you DIDN'T PARTICIPATE in the ICO or set-up a simple quid pro quo with a friend?
Let me be simple and clear - all I want is an Official Statement where you OVERTLY DENY investing in your own ICO...AND also Officially deny that you set-up some sort of a quid pro quo where you unethically benefited from your ICO...
As one of the largest investors, I'm doing my own due diligence (I'd be irresponsible not to)...as the developer and ICO head of Viacoin, be responsible and make an Official Disclosure Statement to go on the record.
until then...I have to keep pestering you...
So you are doing the due diligence after investing in the ICO..... shows me a lot about your personal level of intelligence so far the dev has not lied or lead anyone astray, no gun was placed to any of your heads forcing you to invest, and the next time you do invest in anything I suggest you do the due diligence BEFORE committing to the ICO, I lot of issues people are having is related to the lack of ability to read a ANN fully and understand the info in front of you, this is totally your responsibility and nothing to do with the dev. I have invested understanding the risks involved as with all coins and I am happy with the progress so far. Keep up the good work dev and may the coin and ClearingHouse be a success. |
