As everybody can see in sources:


the first block halving is coming soon (in about 140 blocks). Primarily I thought that this emission curve with initial value of 50 coins and some halvings would be a good idea. I'd like to appreciate those who had believed in this coin in the first, the heaviest period.

Later I've realised that this emission curve causes that there will be a block reward only 1 CDT in about 1 year and 0.19 CDT in 3 years! It's unfair for the future miners. The early miners and supporters MUST be appreciated by higher block reward, BUT I still have to be fair to late/future miners. They need to mine it profitably, so the block reward should not fall to such low value. It must be stopped at certain level.

That's why I've considered putting an additional element to the block reward algoritm, saying "never lower than (until the max PoW supply is mined)". I was thinking that it could be 20 or 12.5 per block, maybe 10. Maybe 21 or 7 as they are lucky numbers. But I could not decide.

That's why I'd like to ask YOU - THE USERS and MINERS. What value would be honest?

This change will be put into the next planned wallet upgrade, that will be in the last days of August/first days of September.

They are worried the price is going to plummet. Miners need to guarantee ROI on their rig equipment. Lots of coins appear legit but turn into scams and are worthless. The usual thing is for miners to dump their coins as soon as it hits an exchange, then you find out where the support lines are. So the price usually keeps dropping until the buy support lines are hit. Sometimes people sell too cheap, sometimes they buy too expensive. As a trader you can take advantage of miners/dumpers that just want small but good gains on their ROI. You must evaluate every coin you are investing in and make your own decisions on when to sell and when to buy. Sometimes it is impossible to know and everything is manipulated by inside traders. It is not easy, people are looking to take your money.

The devs here look like real hard working people. Right from the start you should notice they are not anonymous newbies (which often indicates a scam coin). They have a legitimate business plan here. I am looking to support this team and will hopefully be using my CDT to purchase trees

Well, the net hashrate and diff had lowered 2-3 days after launch, and then patient miners had about a week to mine in peace at low diff Who was thinking cold, could predict that low diff will not last forever. Now (still cold thinking) one can predict that the price will come back to this 0.1-0.2 mBTC from today's morning soon.

It means: There's a Detk Defence Fund. When the price would go lower, we will buy some Detks. When it would go higher, we will sell some. The idea is to have a stabile or constant exchange rate, because this makes the currency (not only crypto) solid and reliable. There will be a closed circuit of some CDT and BTC that will be used only to make the price run sideways and therefore protect the exchange rate. We hope that this helps people esteem, respect their own money and make Detk a good currency for the users to pay for services or goods.

This mechanism, together with the services where you can buy real goods (like Bitenergi, trees24, Baltic amber etc) should make our coin great.
