21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana Memecoin Mania: Could This Be the Next BONK? on: April 04, 2024, 10:21:33 PM
It seems something weird is happening over in the Solana memecoin sector. There's this new project, all about super cute mascot, vibes inspired by that classic meme frog, you know the drill. They burned the liquidity, yada yada... basically trying to pull a BONK.

But truth is it's actually surging. The trading volume is insane, the price chart looks hilariously vertical, and it's snagged a listing on a major exchange soon. Are we witnessing the birth of another memecoin monster, or is this a flash in the pan?

The community is frothing at the mouth, which, okay, is expected. I'm half-tempted to throw some pocket change at it just for the absurdity, even if I fully expect it to implode beautifully.

Anyone else witnessing this madness? Do these memecoin projects ever have staying power, or are they all destined to crash and burn? This one's got me scratching my head, and I'm here for the chaos.

First, what you need to know about Memecoins is that leave with the hype. From the start of any memecoin development, it doesn't guarantee a use case. So you need to know when you get in and out Be it Pepe, Bonk, Shiba, Doge. Always make sure you get it before the hype is heard if not you will be the dumping bag
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Number of new memecoin traders hits record high on: April 04, 2024, 10:13:41 PM
Memecoins have kick-started a new crypto frenzy, attracting investors new to trading and searching for the next big token that could bring massive gains.

Market intelligence platform IntoTheBlock shows that the number of wallet addresses wallet address holding meme-related tokens for under 30 days hit a record high in March.

Memecoins displayed 1,312.6% returns on average, the highest among the top tokens by market capitalization. Projects like Book of Meme (BOME) and Dogwifhat (WIF) drove the percentages up amid the memecoin frenzy.

Stories highlighting life-changing gains may have also played a role in attracting traders into the sector.

A trader turned $62 into $2 million in December after buying a Solana memecoin. The crypto user caught wind of a memecoin called Silly Dragon (SILLY), which poked fun at Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko’s Halloween costume.

More recently, another trader turned $13,000 into $2 million within one hour after buying a meme-based token.

Number of new memecoin traders hits record high

Personally, I never considered memecoin for long term investment but nowadays, people are going after every memecoin with the hope of changing their life like we see some stories online but in reality only few can make such profits while others are going to lose just like every investment, so I wanted to ask how to you see this craze for memecoins in the recent days.
I have talked about BOME in this platform, how I bought it and the profit I made from it. As of last month, it rained Memecoins and I just kept accumulating them mostly from Bitget as they actually kinda list them early. It was interesting but I never fail to take profit as we all know how memecoins behave. Will be trying another one, KOKO this month and see how it goes
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Meme" coins are ruining everything on: April 04, 2024, 10:07:43 PM
Some memecoins will stay simply because of internet culture, most will crash and burn.

Personally, I don't find them useless and I don't see them "ruining everything". How are we going to expect the masses to be able to use these networks if memecoins are causing them to become unusable? Memecoins are the perfect stress test for these blockchains so everyone can improve the current networks we have.
Memecoins are just the fun of it. It is like saying, hey! Take a break from your hard work and chill a little. Or like reminding you that you shouldn't take life seriously. Is just for the fun and making money out of fun is Fun!!
I mean look at Brett, Slerf, MFER and now we have KOKO. All with no sense but are all funny. Just know what to invest so you won't lose your money
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether's expansion: a good signal for the uptrend? on: April 04, 2024, 02:34:36 PM
Stablecoins are a game-changer in the crypto market. They provide two key benefits: high liquidity and a safe haven for investors during periods of high volatility. These factors have fueled their rapid adoption.  Tether's USDT is the current leader, boasting a market cap of $105 billion, which makes up a whopping 69% of the entire stablecoin market share [1].

Despite facing legal challenges in the past [2, 3], Tether has emerged as a dominant player in the cryptocurrency market. Its USDT stablecoin is widely accepted, integrated across 16 major blockchains [4]. Tether further bolsters its position by holding the 16th largest stake in US Treasury bonds [5]. Additionally, the company is involved in Bitcoin mining [6] and holds a significant amount of BTC, currently around 75k BTC valued at roughly 5B USD [7].

Back in 2017, the idea of Tether thriving in 2024 as the dominant stablecoin seemed far-fetched. Yet, here we are. But Tether's skyrocketing market cap has raised concerns. Many fear potential consequences for the crypto market if Tether's reserves aren't enough to truly back every USDT in circulation (meaning a 1:1 collateralization).

However, an increase in USDT supply can indicate new money entering the cryptocurrency market. Since USDT is frequently used to buy other cryptocurrencies, this can lead to increased buying pressure, potentially pushing token prices up and contributing to a bullish trend. I think if Tether keeps issuing new USDT, it suggests that there's still demand for stablecoins, which could be a sign that investors are still entering the crypto market and the crypto market is still in an uptrend.

I own USDT. I'm using Binance Simple Earn to earn interest on my USDT while I slowly buy Bitcoin  through DCA strategy. USDT also helps me hedge against the weakening of my local currency compared to the USD. I hope the USDT market remains stable until I can convert my holdings to cash after uptrend.

I would like to know your views on Tether:
  • Is USDT safer than other stablecoins in the market?
  • Are Tether and USDT really important for the development of the crypto market?
  • Could Tether collapse in the future?

No doubt, Tether is the leading stablecoin due to its adoption and its success from the previous de-pegging fud that the US government had for it but in a way, it scaled through. Now we have ENA USDe another stable competitor. The last I checked on CMC news about the Stablecoin it was among the top 5 and because of the plans of its decentralisation, it might have more adoption than USDT. But we never can tell!

26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that you trust most on: April 04, 2024, 02:25:25 PM
There are thousands of altcoins in crypto market and each of coin has investors! Cause people have different choice from one to another.  People even invest in shitcoin to get rich quickly. So what are the names of your most 5 invested altcoins that you are holding or would like to invest soon?? Those are my choice
1. ETH
2. BNB
3. Arbitrum
4. Cake
5. ApeCoin

Mine is
1. BTC
2. BGB (undervalued at $1 still got lot of potential to show off. Broken ATHs 5 times in a roll)
3. ICP
4. BCH
5. HOLD
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethena Airdrop on: April 04, 2024, 01:43:04 PM
sounds like terra but the team is good to prove that they can manage a system like ethena.

I'm not going to comment on the sustainability of it, but while it looks like Terra/Luna, it's definitely not like Terra/Luna when looking at the technicals. The APY is just high simply because of the open interest crypto has right now. (Ethena is delta neutral.)

As for the airdrop: I've been farming it, but knowing that the release is in like 4-5 days, not sure if it's worth farming today if you aren't yet.

Yeah so many people missed the farming though. I think Bitget launchpool is still active and will be till the 12th. If ENA stick to their objective, I think it will do better than we thought they will because that is the decentralisation we need
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Savings APR reduction normal? on: April 04, 2024, 01:06:28 PM
Guys, Is this normal or does this usually happens?

So, I checked my Binance app to check my USDT I stored in the Savings to see how far profit I have gotten, I realised that the APR has reduced to 7.5%. I thought maybe is a general issue, then I went to my Bitget to check as I also have some USDT stored in their Flexible savings and realised is still at 15%

I want to know if this happens occasionally or there's a reason for the sudden reduction. Mind you, this is my first time using USDT savings to store my USDT. You know, I need the safest way I can keep my usdt and it will generate some profit because I need to buy some coins when market is in deep and not risking them all in trading right now.
29  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best altcoin now? on: April 04, 2024, 01:02:11 PM

Which altcoin shoud I be carefully looking at now as BTC goes a little down, do yoiu think..=?? Anything interesting in the trading platforms moving up against the other trend..??

Got an eye wide open on something very interesting right now, bnut don't know what you guys would  say about this at the moment...  Shocked)

Hmm, you can start with exchange token because their performance in the crypto market is inevitable like BGB, BNB. OKX would have been ok too but the cex is having a problem, so just skip that one then look into AI coins and Layer 1. You can also check ENA it just recently got listed and it has been doing well since its listing
30  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My opion and btc outlook for the next 2 years. on: April 04, 2024, 12:50:51 PM
Here it is.
Off course everybody looking for fed and markets and many other things but instutions are here and they will lock the price so all the other world can be in chaos and crashing and falling btc and instutions don't care about it.
Off course a lot uncertanities and fear will be and shake off but i know what the whales want.
60k will be strong base price this year for btc it's unlikely it will fall Under the 60k instutions cant sell so much that it will fall to lower then 60k.
Now the btc will gearing up for bull run together with altcoins also nice altseason coming.
So 60k-68k is good buying price then from here we go 110k then let's what happens.
But after 110k the next btc lowest support price will be around 30k-40k.
So the main numbers for next 2 years 60k base level then 110-120k and then btc will fall to support 30k-40k(we might see strong support zone on 25k-37k )
Today Im loading up my bags Solana doge xrp xlm ada and eth Tron mostly for up coming alt season.

This here is it. What 100% YouTubers or those KOLs on Twitter won't tell you. We can't avoid the inevitable. If only BTC retraced to $40k before the "Hype pump" then we would have been thinking of 57-53k as worst case scenario.

What we are in, in this phase is the hype. From the ETF to BTC halving. We all have to enjoy the phase, I have dump some of my BTC on the bitget candybomb because the gain is what we are in for. But, knowing where the market will go afterwards us the best to keep reminding yourself when to take a break
31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why most of Exchanges FAIL ? on: April 04, 2024, 12:37:58 PM
Looking back in history since Bitcoin was created back in 2009
There were a lot of different exchanges like

  • FTX, November 2022. Bankruptcy Type.
Three Arrows Capital, July 2022. Bankruptcy Type.
    BlockFi, November 2022. Bankruptcy Type.
Core Scientific, December 2022. Bankruptcy Type.
Voyager Digital, July 2022. Bankruptcy Type.
    Celsius, June 2022.
    Babel Finance, June 2022.
    Hodlnaut, August 2022.
    Cryptopia ,
    Bittrex ,

It happen with all and it can happen with Current ones
e.g the last one KuCoin like 7 Days ago two of its founders were charged with violating anti-money laundering laws by U.S.
Be smart and keep your assets SAFE always use a Cold Wallet Your Keys Your Coins

Does this concern you ?

Well, I have said it here before. I only use two exchange and that's Binance and Bitget. With the last incident that happened with Kucoin, I did check the latter to be sure I'm literally safe with them and I found out they already obtained an MCB long before now and they also have a cold wallet; https://www.bitget.com/support/articles/360040068632-Bitget-Obtains-The-US-MSB-License
32  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: advice for a beginner on: April 04, 2024, 12:26:24 PM
One important thing in trading don't be hurry up entry position to buy or sell, always looking how potential price of altcoin or bitcoin you want to invest have reaches most higher price or not. I am so sad heard with your loss around $40 depend your capital $100 but which one you trade in future or spot trading?
The ratio of percentage, OP loss almost reach 50% of his capital and its not really worth as investor for getting back recovery, you need to have more knowledge with trading and have second option after your coins investing drop drastically.
Use stop loss when your capital decreasing above 10% to minimalize with your more loss in trading, beside need make research before investing in some coins you must always ready with stop loss feature and get second opportunity to buy back in lower price recovering with loss.
I don't think his angle is from investing rather, he is coming as a trader...
I think he is trying as a beginner to be honest, when I started I lost more than this that I have to use Dual investment at some point to mitigate my losses. If he keeps up like this and reduces greed with good risk management, I think he will be able to achieve something. If not, is best he uses a less risky way to trade the market like I did
33  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do many people fail in trade? on: April 04, 2024, 12:13:41 PM
I see a lot of traders who fail in this field, because they do not have patience and consistency in learning, that they are successful traders who study for more than a year or even two years so that they can have the ability to analyze the market and can have their own methods in making profits from trading.
Many who have just learned one month to one semester they give up and no longer want to trade, please note that naturally fruitful trees are trees that grow with a long period of time so that they can bear heavy fruit and can provide benefits for both the owner or others.

Don't give up quickly in trading, there are many mistakes that you have to take lessons from, walk slowly and with principles in trading with risk management that you can control and not overdo it so that you can take advantage for yourself.

Focus, be consistent, learn from your mistakes and think that building an empire takes time.

What are your additions to understanding the learning time for someone who is learning to trade? I think sharing here will benefit those who may be close to giving up on this field.

To start with, nothing is ever easy to begin with. Sometimes we are at that point like we can never do it because of the consistent fails but only those who stick around actually achieve it.

Here, I would tell everyone if you are in this category, don't give up keep doing it because when you finally get it, it will be all fun and you will be able to get so many opportunities to accomplish like different events MEMECON, what have you! Don't give up
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's next in the memecoin cycle? on: March 23, 2024, 01:19:31 PM
There's much discussion surrounding the current memecoin season. We've witnessed all the usual aspects of a crypto memecoin season: from speculative trading to numerous project launches and presales, along with a flurry of airdrops. Presently, speculative trading and presales are at the forefront. While airdrops like JUP and Wen have come and gone. We’ve even seen bigger projects like bitget introduce their own airdrop/ rewards programs with prizes for various activities such as registration, spot trading, and completing futures trading tasks.

At this point, we've experienced a wide range of events so far and comparing the current scenario to what I recall from the bullish market of 2021, it seems like we have encountered all that a memecoin cycle can offer. Consequently, I anticipate a direct transition to altcoin season. Any thoughts on this prediction? Or how much longer do you think this will last?

It seems like it. I talked about how I made good profit from BOME and few other memecoin few weeks back and how also if you're not careful enough, the same memecoin that pays you in huge profit can also take from you massively.

I can't really stress it enough but one of my success in this memecoin is in cex listing. When is been confirmed that they will be listed on cex, then I see it as an opportunity to get in because it shows that they're not there to rug pull. You can take a look at TOAD. Don't know if it will do like the previous ones but it's worth a catch. Not financial advice still
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops are getting easier to get this year on: March 21, 2024, 03:07:04 PM
Airdrops now cannot be said to be easy there are still some airdrops that have to risk your money, such as EtherFi which has to bridge ETH then Aevo with futures trading so when you hesitate and there is no capital then it will be said to be difficult unless you rely on free capital such as other social media.

About the wallet you use it depends on which one you want but I believe metamask is what people often use to do transactions and other airdrop tasks, such as OKX then Bitget which is already multichain and several other exchanges already support web3.

From EVM wallets and such, it's more like metamask.
As for Solana wallets, I prefer Phantom.

Phantom is good but is seriously lagging in my phone that's why I can't use it
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops are getting easier to get this year on: March 21, 2024, 03:02:40 PM
Sure Airdrops are much easier these days especially now that the Market sentiment is very bullish .There are lots of new project that runs airdrop campaigns some may not be worth it but others are really good and one can easily make some good profits from them .So it will be worth in engaging in many airdrops as possible

You and OP probably doesn’t experience the early version of Airdrop which user receives this airdrop token by holding certain token or by just filling up the form that enters your wallet address to get an airdrop token.

The current airdrop model has different task that usually needs spending on the ecosystem before you can receive airdrop. Same with the OP being promoting which is Bitget that requires actual spending on the exchange through trades before you can received airdrop. I’m pointing out that the process before is much easier compared to the current version but still both are very easy to participate.
As of then in 2016, I haven't been in crypto fully. I started my crypto journey as of 2019 and what I knew back then was faucet. Doing little task and getting paid in LTC, DOGE etc. The only airdrop I have experience was that of Uniswap..

I'm just saying what I know. If I did started from 2016-2017 I would know better. Regardless, I'm glad some of you here know much better and I'm learning with y'all
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops are getting easier to get this year on: March 21, 2024, 02:58:21 PM
Best-mary you are trying in this part of the forum and continue the good work and they way you create threads on this airdrops, I noticed that you are a good participant with them. And really this days the way airdrops are flooding the ecosystem is like they are the only projects in the space. Every corner they are there. The last airdrop my friends participated was after the signing up with project site, they still have to make recommendations of 20 persons as referral before the reward was send to their Trustwallets. So you have to carry out some little works before you can be given the token to test the service.

Even you are a serious participant of airdrop project be careful with them because it is not all that is good to deal with.

Thank you so much, I appreciate the recognition and I'll keep trying my best in sharing my knowledge here in the group...

As for the airdrops. Is true that not all will pay and some do pay and I believe this will pay as well. You know I said I was going to give it a try and since I have search and know how reputable they're. I believe they will do as they said at the end. The airdrop will end next month, so till then.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops are getting easier to get this year on: March 21, 2024, 02:50:44 PM
I think this year in crypto is literally different from the rest. I don't know if it's just me. But do you guys notice that there have been a lot of airdrops done lately by wallets? It all started with JUP then I think it was maybe they're trying to mimic the way Uniswap did when they launched but it seems very different this year. I was going through my notifications as I do usually in the evening then I saw this news popped out. Lol, never did it occur to me that Bitget will have their wallet token more or less giving an airdrop for it...
You can read it here:
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitget-wallet-launch-native-token-1-year-after-30-m-raise

I mean, I know I am very familiar with their exchange like I do with other exchanges (Binance and Bybit) and they're known for so many events but when it comes to wallet, I never give it much thought.

Anyway, I want to know from you guys who have been using exchange wallets, how good are they. Is it the same as using Uniswap and Solfare? I know I'm very familiar with these two but I do prefer using Solfare due to gas fees. Phantom is another good but it lags in my phone and it is sometimes slow.

So, Has anyone tried using the wallet? Because I want to give it a try. And the airdrop won't be bad if I give it a shot too. But most importantly, I need something that supports different chains like Phantom. Because as For me I think is best to look into those that will make your trading skills and crypto buying easier airdrop going on..
I haven't used that wallet but I see that they've got an integrated exchange which is an ease for most airdroppers and traders that are using wallets like jupiter. Good luck in doing airdrops because not all of them are fortunate with it, some are just trying to take them one by one because this only happens every bull run and soon, you'll never know if the one you're holding will be valuable or totally dead so if you receive rewards and they can be sold, think of it.
Yes they do have an exchange which I am very much familiar like I said in my post is just the wallet I haven't tried but from the research I have made, I think it will be worth it has I have seen they might be surpassing trust wallet if care is not taken. Like they got FDV of 1.4 billion
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why Ethereum Ecosystem is better than Solana Ecosystem on: March 21, 2024, 02:25:46 PM
Lately, due to immerse influx of memecoins into Solana chains made it so popular and sky rock in price in short time but looking at the longer term and case utility, I'll say I do prefer Ethereum and it's chain

Now comparing this two, the only issue ETH has over Sol is the high gas fee. Aside that, every other thing is very much better in Eth than Sol

I have taken my time to study the coins that has been listed on Bitget most of which are under Eth and SOL chains. That's when I realised all what Solana has is Meme..

Now for ETH, I'll just talk about the two recent ones I just found and I know there are more. Don't really wanna make the list long;
1. SYNC (Syncus)
You can leverage zkSync chain, ensures high security and low transaction fees, making the DeFi more accessible.

2. ZK (Polyhedra): From the announcement I got the "The Block" news, the project is designed to be a Bitcoin messaging protocol aiming to improve the interoperability of the Bitcoin network with other Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks. And it supports over 20 layer-1 and layer-2 networks, including BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Arbitrum.

Like I said I can go on and on but then if I should bring the coins listed on Sol, you will see things like BOME, Brett, etc..

I'm not saying Sol is bad, but I'm trying to point out the reason we need to hold good coins along while we make money because I know coins in the SOL chain are good for quick gains but not for a long-term hold. I can say from experience I have made good profit from this memecoins and I have also made a post here on how to get in early for memecoins

But, I won't deny the fact that is good to hold good coins for longer term and I hope this will help the new ones in the crypto world understand better 👍

I checked my wallet if I have bonus points and got some the thing is I needef to import my private key to the bitget wallet which makes me hesitant cause I dont know if this exchange is safe and I dont know about them and use them even once. Yes they maybe legit but I am not confident to do so yet. Maybe I'll import my other wallets that Im not using or older wallet maybe still got some points too.
Good to know you have some points. That means the airdrop is been legit. As for the exchange, yes they're good and very secured. I have talked about them couple of times but you can still try using the older wallet you think you're ok with and see for yourself.
