is it normal for a darksend transaction to some other drk address (directbet in this case) to show up as 'darksend collateral payment' as description and 'n/a' as address?
The funds did arrive at directbet anyways but i was just wondering.
edit: i was darksend mixing when sending the funds - maybe that matters(?) edit2: i am using the newest wallet version (.16)
No, you got hit with collateral charge because you disrupted the darksend process by sending coins. nope, the amount is the exact amount i sent to directbet(0.1) + transaction fee (0.001), and there is just one transaction at that time. That's strange. Please report this issue on JIRA! http://jira.darkcoin.qa/secure/Dashboard.jspaThank you ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) alright i will. just found out it seems 'solved' when i enter a 'label' when sending the amount by the way. now the previous transactions suddenly show up correctly too. So sending without filling out a 'label' seems to have a tiny bug or something.

Will instantX accelerates the mixing process?
Will the liquidity update be a sufficient solution?
InstantX will accelerate the mixing process but only if there are other clients available for mixing. If you've already anonymised your coins as much as you would like, why would you leave your wallet unlocked to anonymise more and pay more fees? Liquidity providers are a short-term fix in my opinion. Although there is a big incentive to run a masternode with 1000 DRK, what incentive is there to provide 1000 DRK or more for mixing? I want to set up some masternodes but have been unable to anonymise enough coins to set one up. InstantX will NOT accelerate the mixing process. I figured out a way to use the entire masternode network in a completely 100% decentralized way, but the trade off is it will require inputs that have at least 5 confirmations. However, this means that when sending a transaction, the 10 voting notes are going to be unique, so the system will be very difficult to DDOS (you'll theoretically have to DOS all masternodes to succeed). However, this means you can't send multiple transactions one after another based on InstantX, they have to be a few minutes apart. The really nice thing is this will scale now, to HUGE levels with no effect on the network. Darksend just needs more users, we can bootstrap it with the liquidity providers and it'll take a few hours for people to complete their mixing. Eventually when we have enough users, we can disable the liquidity providers and Darksend will get to the point where it just takes a few minutes. It just needs 2.5 minutes per round, so 4 rounds (which is rather good privacy) could theoretically take just 10 minutes. I'm going to record a demonstration today of InstantX and put it on YouTube, this technology is really amazing. I can't wait to hear what people think of it. great, can't wait ! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

seems like a smart move to introduce this many masternode thing to get way more masternodes in a short time - and thereby increasing the strength of the network.
Yep, we need more masternode to make DRK scarcier than ever. The price will increase and maybe touch the moon. Go DRK, go ! price shouldn't be your primary motivation if you truly care about this project..

it's not different. Maybe just a lot less work to administer?

Would be nice if there was a way of making 'plugins' which add extra functionality to the masternode network. It would require some kind of 'plugin' framework i guess.
Might speed up the way we can introduce new functionality (?).

Great to see the progress we're making! I have been busy working on setting up www.darkcoin.nl for promoting Darkcoin for dutch people in their native language. Planning on keeping it up-to-date with further developments! Working on a in-depth article, in dutch, about the inner workings of darksend now, which i plan to post soon. I'm also willing to publishing external articles on there (in dutch ofcourse) if they are Darkcoin related. Please contact me on info@darkcoin.nl if you have any suggestions. Feel free to donate so i can invest in keeping this site up to date and extend it further: XjJizvypv5XVtdE6HNt6gqhvbHwdyvrM3B . Greatly appreciated.

Some hacker just buy up DRK, use Darksend and now trying to go back to BTC?! Very 'interesting' behavior here.
Does not have to be a hacker necessarily. If someone actually did this to 'un-trace' some coins, it surely proves his trust in this anonymous coin. Which is good sign i guess

hrrr if anyone else feels like donating their drk, pm me with privkey and i will take good care of your drk! :x

Just a reminder : If DRK is severely going down is only because of YOU, especially actual and potential MN owners. Yes, you read well.
87% of the coins belongs to adresses with more than 1,000 DRK.
I can't read the people finding excuses like "no fresh money", "no whale", "dumb crypto-community"
Look at the past sell orders : it was multiple of 1000 !
If you want a 100-300 M$, just stop selling during 1 month. It is not the rare sells with 50 Drk that will lead the price down...
The competitors are far behind. Ltc, Doge or even Nxt are in trouble ! What are you waiting for ?
People need and search for "same thing like BTC but private". Fundamentals are here. We do not need geekeries, we need to figure out how many rounds we should use (catastrophic option leading to uncertainty and doubt : "Did I well or enough rounds", "Is my coins anonymyzed ?")
Pool Police ?! What we really need is a TOP 100 Police or dark soldiers who list who amongst rich list is selling or trying to day-trade !!
Just try not to sell during on month and look how magically the price will soar !
true that. Just relax, wait, and let some more people accumulate drk at these attractive prices. oh and better to have a few more smaller updates to finetune things if that results in a stable end product.
