Now willing to run own masternodes. Vultr here I come.
Anyone found a cheaper VM host?
Not really, vultr is unbeatable i think. I have 1 server with 3 ip's = 3 MNs. Costs around $8 or $9 a month I think all in (no excess bandwidth charges as 1Tb limit is way more than what's needed). Walter Can you give me a quick rundown on how to setup multiple masternodes (with secondary IP addresses) on the same server? I'm currently using a VPS for each one! |

call me crazy but sadly I see a regularity on cryptsy , every Tuesday for the last 4 weeks big dump for DRK , about 1.2 lover then week before , means we would see 0.0037 today or tomorrow ?

What is the point of "start many"? One can more easily take profit from holding lots of darkcoins, but having different addresses and different servers looks more stronger for darksend, even though that servers have one owner, isn't it? Agree,.. this is a really really really bad Idea.. What happens if the richest wallet opens a MN ?? .. no payment for the rest of us for months ? And those timestamps on that wallet are somewhat suspicious, even if these are 19 mn rolled up to one... I go sometimes 3-7 days without payment Not a happy camper  |

It has been a well known fact the rich list could run a large number of nodes at any given time if they wanted. |

It's obviously going to be easier to maintain on a local front, but it's still going to take some time to setup each instance on the remote front (yes there are means of making it faster, but it will still take time). |

I agree DRK is more than its price. However, every coins (BTC, DRK, LTC, ...) are very tight to their price. Without them, what are they ? It's very subtile: Price is nothing and everything at the same time. |

You can make some swap space, buy yeah if you have lots of MNs it's quicker to build it on your pet monsterbox, scp it to one of your MN's and then use that to push it to the rest, much quicker than uploading umpteen times on a domestic connection, unless you're very lucky in the local fibre department. |

I'd love to give this a shot but when I git clone the URL on the start-many branch, it's the old version... 16.10 doesn't exist anywhere. |
