I think you got an awful teacher for an interesting course.  You can ask your friends or online who already took the course that you desire for their evaluation prior enrolling and availing the course.  By doing this, you can infer if the course will suit you or not.

Anyway, I just want to also say that take a good break, OP.  Hopefully, you will get a new course that suits you very well.  For now, take advantage of the break to rest and recover.

I'll be retaking with a different teacher one day!!! Smiley
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I quit this site about a month ago, I just need to know one last thing on: April 29, 2024, 07:58:45 AM
Hello, uh so I was wondering about the security of the wallet I am choosing

Right now, I am using Exodus, which I heard here is a ticking time bomb. I am aware, and I responded saying that if I ever came across a sizable amount of money I would get a better wallet.

Some irl stuff happened too don't wanna get into detail of that, unrelated to this thread but whatever. This will probably be my last thread

So, now that time has come. I quit this website since I have no use for it anymore, I am living a far more mentally healing life after a year and a half of pure struggling, LITERAL HELL and over 30-40 cases of bad luck and complete bs to say the least. I am fed up and now I am far away from the dumpster fire of the life I had, which you may see by just viewing my previous threads here, some of which was so bad I just had to edit it out/try to remove completely. $40-80 a week is nice but now I have alot more opportunities and I'm not struggling for the next half a year trying to earn "merit" to rank up. That was so annoying especially with all the unnecessary bs of people accusing me of being an alt and stuff. If I ever come back in the future hopefully no one tries some verification bs "account sold, account hacked!! respond with a signed message of ur wallet!!" because I will not ever.

I need to find a good wallet without ordering anything to my house. I was thinking of Trezor/Ledger (I still need to be educated on the pros cons and differences about them), until I realized that I would have this sent to my house.

Is there any other safe alternative option that doesn't involve this?

On a side note; I’m going to take a further. break from all this online garbage and be back when I feel better. I had several threads and youtube comments to discuss and reply to as well as deals all ruined by this bullshit.

24  Other / Off-topic / Dropped out of my Philosophy course, also taking a further break on: March 22, 2024, 12:18:00 AM
Recently I felt like there was no time for me to be trying to do anything other than school related stuff here, so I left bitcointalk for a couple of days.

Today, I had to leave this course. It's horrible.

theres no practice worksheets just his lectures and “problem sets” which are graded 60% total, far more than the midterm+final combined (15% and 25%)

no extra credit for retaking the sets. no extra problems for extra credit

refuses to answer all of his questions on these problem sets saying hes under no obligation

expects us to take the midterm without giving us back 3 of our homework sets, one of them he hasnt even graded yet and he wont until the same day as the midterm (Hes also slow at grading these, been over 2-3 weeks for the last few.) along with the fact that we get no time to study, even if you wanted to work on this early it was hella confusing

^since hes slow, there should be some sort of online practice where we can immediately receice grades but he acts as if he teaches this class well enough

half the class dropped out with more people saying they gonna drop out on the discord it was packed on day 1

tells us to not use the book on the first say saying it wont be helpful for his course since he teaches it differently , only today tells us the book will be good for some places

no tutors at this university

144p videos (high quality if you download them) but he is literally difficult to hear in all of them

even the people who been doing very good all throughout the course are starting to flunk

reddit reviews also saying this dude sucks

its as if half our questions me and other people ask have been getting ignored too, gotta ask him via class time to get a guaranteed response
or his 30 minute office hours which is like every few days
all this was partially on me for not studying during the first few but it just looks like even if i score good on everything else i wont be passing
for an introductory course it is crazy how he just hides the answers to the questions he gives , only provides some then he says not obligated to provide the rest and doesnt care
if u scored bad on one of them and theres no answer for it shown ur basically left in the dark
that can be bypassed if a student does well on them because they can just share their work, but still havent received homework back due to his slow grading and even the ppl who did good r flunking the recent ones now so absolutely nothing

The worst part is teacher genuinely gets annoyed/frustrated when you ask him questions or try to make him stay late in class especially when combining all of the other factors I listed here ITS AN INTRODUCTORY COURSE.

Scratch this for several days. I won’t have time to be on here Bitcointalk or anywhere else

I have an important exam to finish study for.
26  Economy / Services / If you can make decent quality videos, this thread is for you on: March 18, 2024, 05:17:09 AM
I gave up a while ago trying to find someone but I'd figure I'd try one last time.

Your payment can be in either
Paypal
Cashapp
Venmo
BTC
USDT(ERC20)

I have a 100K+ Sub Youtube channel and I am looking for someone who can record videos for me, (NO EDITING NO MAKING THUMBNAILS), I do that part.

None of these vids have to be decent, there are only two rules

1. People need to view the video clearly (Decent quality)
2. The video has to be at least 4-6 minutes long

You will be spending 4-6 mins per video and you will be getting paid $1 per video.
You will be running a test upload to see if you understand everything here.
You must have a discord account (I do not use this site often)

Update

Will not be online for several days due to an upcoming exam. I will be back soon
27  Economy / Reputation / Re: PytagoraZ & komisariatku are alts on: March 18, 2024, 05:04:31 AM
You were told that publishing personal information is unsafe and there is no need. Why do you advise something that makes absolutely no sense? Whoever is on the other side of the screen should not show themselves. The forum adheres to confidentiality.
On the other hand, just imagine that there are a lot of farmers on the forum, and many have received negative tags. Is it possible to believe the evidence of cheaters who bring a friend, mom, and dad, as well as their cat, to a video call, but only one person will remain the true owner?
Don't forget, this is the internet, and we can be anything in the plural.

For me it does because in the past I've been in a few situations where it looked near 1:1 impossible to prove my innocence and it stressed me every minute of the day for a while I had to fight something for 6 months straight where it looked like I was guilty because I was told not to say some confidential information that was shared to only me, only for the bad results to happen the next day. Even with the other person who had this info telling him I had nothing to do it took an extremely long time just for the person who told me to realize the full story because I continued persisting and did everything humanly possible. Because of how long it took I lost pretty much alot of other valuable experiences with the dude including the trust that was built up until I was proven innocent.

Another time I had thousands of dollars hostage for about a week and they had serious coincidental proof of me "exploiting their website to duplicate money" it was getting to the point where I was starting to think I miscounted the money I withdrew/deposited and thought I was guilty for a while. I ended up failing my studying for a little because of it. They only realized I was innocent because I calmed down later that day, reviewed it fully, realized I was innocent and didn't take any "exploited" money from my account, and went to far and beyond lengths almost no one else would go to just to prove it. If it has anything to do with stuff considered important to me being at risk then I'll do anything just to try and get it back.

Other stories, etc. Whatever bits of trust this dude had remaining has just vanished the moment he lied here though. I'm just tired of people acting like they're from the circus over and over trying to act "innocent" expecting people to trust their words while not posting any actual proof against very clear incriminating evidence. Same thing just happens over and over, and it gets dull.

And yeah there will always be another "what if" scenario for almost everything but I'd figure that someone tell him to try something instead of relying on words with no proof as backup. You are right too, this website literally has proven to me all the people here who you think are good and trustworthy only to turn out to do things people would never have believed.

To me it just seems like people here on Bitcointalk fail to learn and have to go say the same NPC wordplay everytime they're caught and exposed and I've only seen one person come clean so far out of the (approximate) 50-100 I've viewed here from older and newer threads. All this because he wanted a few extra dollars per week from campaigns or small rewards from bounties. Didn't mean to make this super long but yeah that is why I'm out here saying all this.

Better study the forum rules and learn the multi-posting rule.
32. Posting multiple posts

Forgot about this rule, I was told about it before and had my posts merged as a result a couple of months back. I'll delete my previous post and edit my previous post to include what I've said. Thank you!
28  Economy / Reputation / Re: PytagoraZ & komisariatku are alts on: March 18, 2024, 03:39:04 AM
Nope, I would never condone that sort of thing or ask anybody to participate in it. All the evidence necessary to prove these two accounts are alts can already be found on the forum & its archives. One's personal privacy should never have to be invaded for the purpose of these types of investigations.

komisariatku seems to be telling one lie after another -- just utterly shameless that each lie becomes more ridiculous than the last. I will not be removing these tags.

Well it’s more than obvious that the story is unbelievable so far but personally I’d let anyone who is willing to go that far to prove their innocence to just let them do so even if it’s to a far extent. For a situation like this where it’s basically open and shut, providing some strong proof(privately of course) to justify the claims made by him is better on his side than to look like a clown on the forums with his livelihood ruined trying to disprove(with poor evidence and mere words) against an open and shut case with near undeniable proof of the connection. I just simply showed him a better way to help effectively prove his claims (I doubt it too, most of the people on these forums who have been caught try to lie their way out instead of being honest, which would at least make them look like a normal individual)

I'm not surprised by your answer because nothing will change even though I can prove it with a video call.

I have also admitted my true mistake. So you have every reason to tag me.
 Wink Wink Wink

I wouldn’t have posted that publicly, private is the way to go.

If you look back people have said some unbelievable excuses and have always ended up looking like a bozo while trying to disprove the truth. I appreciate that you’re at least trying here with proof for this situation and not just using words against extremely strong proof, along with the lie you told and other things the community has gathered isn’t helping your case as well.

An image(which can be faked photoshopped whatever) is not the way to go though, but it’s better than absolutely nothing.

If you are innocent and really want to prove it, the only suggestion I can tell you is to keep going with this and not post any sensitive info publicly here. Otherwise honestly it is simply almost impossible to believe your side considering the clear evidence they gathered against you. To everyone here, this story you shown is unbelievable so far. You were literally caught posting on the wrong account, why would you have your “irl friends” log in info? You were also caught lying in this thread too, another huge red flag only furthering thinning the ice on any remaining person who has a glimmer of hope for your words here
29  Economy / Reputation / Re: PytagoraZ & komisariatku are alts on: March 18, 2024, 01:59:44 AM
Video call? it will ruin my privacy and nutildah, it's not that easy guys and I never knew there was such a way because most people don't like kyc and guard their privacy

As much of a privacy ruining decision that is(to one singular trusted person who wont share your face/voice to anyone), its still the only effective way of proving your innocence, especially with all the undeniable proof stacked up brought by everyone here and the "irl" defense being used repeatedly.

It's not exactly like KYC where they straight up ask for your legal ID (which has.. everything)
30  Economy / Reputation / Re: PytagoraZ & komisariatku are alts on: March 18, 2024, 12:18:17 AM
I've mentioned my mistakes in the past and I don't sugarcoat them. In the past, most bounty hunters were cheaters, even bounty managers at that time were also cheaters. The conditions are very different from now, I'm sure nutildah knows those dark times and alt accounts were something that almost everyone had, especially at the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018. One of the managers that I still remember and is still active today is irfan_pak, he is very thorough in assessing blog campaigns, I am often accepted into his campaigns because I have never plagiarized and my previous base was a blogger so I had no difficulty in writing articles well enough without having to plagiarize.

Ok, I believe you on that. That can help a little since a track record of honesty is good. but that is only a little drop proven compared to everything else here. What Im trying to say is unbelievable is how these are all your irl “friends” including the account that Nutildah is accusing you of being. You could be innocent everywhere else but it wouldn’t really matter at all if you can’t disprove the important key accusations made from this thread.

You need to go out of your way and do what I said in my previous post if you are really innocent, and that includes your “friend” following the advice too. It is your only way to provide definitive proof that you aren’t the person running the other account. And it will prove that you two are different people.

I'm looking to build a youtube channel but I do not know where to start. Does anyone here has an idea on how to have organic views and subscribers?

Sadly this was almost 3 years ago. I was excited about this thread Sad
32  Economy / Reputation / Re: PytagoraZ & komisariatku are alts on: March 17, 2024, 09:37:38 PM
What do I need to explain? You can find out what the 2017/2018 bounty system is like, there are no merit requirements and everyone can take part in the campaign. In the beginning all projects look good and in the end they all turn out to be scams. Joining a campaign is not as difficult as it is now.

I've explained that I have 1 alt and I admit it. The rest are accounts belonging to my friends and I have tried to invite them to be active again but they failed to get merit and are busy with their own real work.

Now it's very difficult and I admit, especially for those who don't have a particular interest and knowledge so it's very difficult to get people to join. I even failed to encourage my younger brother who is still in college to be active because he never received merit and didn't like discussing things.

Alright my bad for failing to know about the older requirements. If I continued stalking people here and not quit for school I would’ve known, I already know most of the prominent members here and a lot of events but somehow I missed out on that. However though there’s so many accounts that it’s basically hella suspicious along with the clear proof provided by nutildah. Sorry man but it’s pretty clear you’re guilty for multiple things and not just the past of using a singular alt.

If you are in the 0.01% chance of innocence then you need some SERIOUS proof. Like provide whatever you can at this point. If he is really your friend, just facecam both of yourselves to a trusted member(Nutildah is trusted) WHILE both of you being logged on, checking IPS too live so you aren’t faking anything. Being real here, no amount of words you post here will save you or convince people to believe you. You need evidence, not just words. And unfortunately the only proof you can provide is all personal IRL information, but it’s still better than nothing and typing stuff that’s most likely untrue and near impossible to believe based on all the evidence found by the community
33  Economy / Reputation / Re: PytagoraZ & komisariatku are alts on: March 17, 2024, 10:18:57 AM
If these accounts are all your “friends” explain this.

I have been trying to get many people to join bitcointalk every once in a while for months because I told them it can make them money. Most of them didn’t even bother and only one joined just to hire indians for some illegal project. Absolutely no one cared to make campaign money or talk about the purpose of bitcoin or crypto advice none of that. Literally NO one cared

I used to care too about making money here but lost interest with trying anymore.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Soo, bitcoin is now over 70K on: March 14, 2024, 07:28:51 PM
I really hate using the forums reply feature but

I never used FTX, but back then I was stupid enough to trust a gambling site to keep my funds safe because they were welcoming and friendly all around. I know better now (and no and i’m not a gambler, they had a NFT section where i earned thousands by buying and selling nfts)

My mistake was depositing using a websites address, and that website their team chose FTX for their wallets and due to anti laundering checks they sent it back to the most recent depositing address. I’ve actually never owned anything to FTX but my money was sent to the companies address and if they didn’t use FTX i would have gotten it back, rip

I did hear about the “Not your keys not your bitcoin” in 2022 actually but I had no clue what it meant. It was literally here https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=p9jhS84WOK8

Only reason why i’m not immediately moving to a different wallet is because currently I only have $22 in crypto since most of it is spent in other assets. I’m not getting a huge amount of crypto anytime soon and I will be learning this stuff alot more before I receive any huge crypto payment again. If exodus ends up dipping I won’t have much stored and not care about loss. If I ever do receive a huge sum of crypto again i’m definitely getting a secure wallet and not using anything stupid. And not using exodus either to store em.

I did have something for litecoin that was most likely a 100% safe wallet back in 2021 but I lost it when my old pc randomly died. Sad
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Soo, bitcoin is now over 70K on: March 14, 2024, 09:06:51 AM

Exodus wallet is a ticking time bomb, and I advise you to pull all your funds out NOW and put them in Unstoppable or Coinbase Wallet or something.

There have been too many instances of crypto mysteriously vanishing from people's accounts in the form of outgoing transactions to unknown addresses. Also never use their built-in exchange feature - that is a KYC "document-rugpull" trap.

In the community I'm most active on most people use exodus and recommend others to use exodus to others all around. (No one there is a crypto expert not even me) The first wallet I used was Blockchain or something and it was fucking horrible, it gave me a huge fee for a $900 transaction and pissed me off so much. Someone in the community recommended me exodus almost 3 years ago and I started using it ever since, I was happy with low fees and a more organized view and was able to understand some of the basics overtime with exodus.

I'm going to forward this message to a friend. He recently exchanged like $1.5k worth of crypto to LTC or something and now his money was gone even though the exchange completed (He didn't fall for any RATs or viruses) Can you show more information to me about this so I can tell him more?

I have no funds on exodus and the one time I held more than 5 figures worth of funds it felt extremely uncomforting and I just wanted to get rid of it quickly, so it was all disposed of within under a week.

 Thank you for that.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JP Morgan says BTC price could drop after 2024 halving on: March 14, 2024, 08:40:03 AM
Well its literally inevitable that btc will drop. It's just what always happens. Best to stick to your intuitions take advantage of it and if its HELLA low like last year, HODL it.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Soo, bitcoin is now over 70K on: March 14, 2024, 08:33:45 AM
Unfortunate. All you can do now is to make sure to not make the same mistake. Don't leave funds on centralized exchanges unless you frequently/actively trade them; if not, then always use hardware wallets and non-custodial wallets to prevent disasters like this.

https://NotYourKeys.org/

I'm using exodus but I'm very concerned how I haven't discovered any sort of 2FA Feature before sending funds by now. - They have actually saved me from losing my money once so far when my old PC suddenly stopped, thankfully I was logged onto my same wallet using another PC

I do plan on making the switch in the future to a hardware wallet, probably the next time I have lots of money in crypto. I do not have much in crypto but random virtual items and @ handles which they've probably all gone up fairly as well since people have more money to spend.
38  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit abuse and probably account hacking on: March 14, 2024, 08:31:55 AM

Who are those who gave merit? Does the forum have any rules for the owners of such large accounts? Where do they come from and give merit to new accounts? They don't follow forum rules. They should be brought under the law.

The post-given merit here needs to be merited. One of these four accounts. He wants to create a new account and withdraw that account with merit. These should be noted.

@jokers10 Thank you for bringing up such an excellent topic. I also posted about them a few days ago for abusing merit like this.

By "them" do you mean merit abusers in general or these specific accounts? Because this is clearly a different case of accounts merit abusing. Just seems like an attempt to gain attention to your post
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Soo, bitcoin is now over 70K on: March 14, 2024, 08:16:52 AM
I checked all of these old transactions I made like yesterday or the day before. a 14.6k transaction was now 44.8k and a 9.4k deal is now 28k+.

And what I lost to rollbit sending my money to a FTX address went from 4K to now 12.1K. Like wtf

^Fuck FTX they are robbing [words i cant say on this forum] and they are the reason why I lost it, now my money is to the government. Just know if Scam Bankrupt-Fried was with me IRL he would've given me my hard earned funds and maybe extra back to me long ago. My mental health has a whole lot to say to him.

People have lost worse sure, I've done almost everything I could to get it back ever, but any loss still sucks sadly. And nope I aint gonna be checking for the new value of the lost funds.

Other than the sad losses that people have been scammed out of or lost due to bullshi, you should also check your wallets and see how much your crypto deals/transactions have drastically gone up. If you disposed your crypto long ago, don't be sad since you most likely weren't going to keep that crypto for this long anyway or predict it. It's insane to see how much crypto has increased but if you missed out and are stressed about it then don't be since it will eventually drop hard as always (no disrespect to anyone holding).
