Question: What are the devs planning to do to make Sys price grow?
consider to buy some sys but not sure yet  answering this question would help to make a decision ... I am just guessing that it makes sense to fix all major issues (like now, with the v1.4 release) then verify that everything is stable & works, write down the details of the roadmap so it is easy to communicate and *then* start to make a lot of PR. Doing the PR while busy fixing things does not make sense - when new people come and see that it does not work yet, they will run and not come back, you have only one chance for a good first impression. So, the timing of the Chinese exchange is almost perfect. Hope that Sys will show itself stable and without major bugs, so following releases can focus on adding back in the features in the roadmap. That is why I am HODLing my sys, would consider buying if I had unallocated BTC. I think the Devs were right in focus on full-out dev work until 1.4 release, now they can spread attention to other things. Cheers for the devs! Forgive my newbness... What is buy support? helpful answer thanks! is there a rough eta for v1.4? It's out since last night (Euro time here) Syscoin is gonna be huge. PErfect chance to step in now, while it is cheap. Just wait untill they fix stability completely and start adding features one by one. Or when buy support will be released  Together with Monero, these coins have my support. Forgive my newbness... What is buy support? It is when you put buy orders way below the current price to make people more confident in coin and make them place buy orders on top of that. Then you slowly move upwards. |

Hi. I am going to ask this question once and will not do it ever again. Yes, this might cause some FUD. But I know many would like to ask the same. I would really appreciate if devs anawer this question that they are probably tired with already.
Question:
What are the devs planning to do to make Sys price grow?
Of course there are many answers to pick from:
- nothing, let's just wait, maybe the price will fix by itself
- we are going to create stability fund (Like GB or Sync)
- we are going to provide buy support
- we are going to improve the coin and hope that people will start buying it when it gets new features
- we are going to start some marketing finally
- something else?

This is merely biggest disaster in crypto!
I've been following this coin for weeks (months, actually) and had faith in devs from the beginning.
But it seems that those people might be great coders with vision, however they totally don't understant how crypto markets work.
This is D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R!
Why? Because hundreds of ICO investors are feeling fucked right now. Of course crypto is about risk but all successful IPO/ICO coins were using presale money to sustain the price. This way they were gaining HUGE ARMY OF LOYAL INVESTORS WHO WERE PROMOTING THE COIN FOR THEM. That is the basic of price management. Maybe some (most?) coins do not admit to supporting their own price but this is how it works in the first stage.
And here? Instead of hundreds of loyal investors to promote their coin, Syscoin developers gained hundreds of whiners and FUDDers. And this won't end in a week or two - this will continue for many months. I have to admit I didn't expect that.
Few months ago someone was posting here that he will wait and buy when we are in the 200 satoshi price range. People were laughing at him but it seems that he had a point after all. This is going down. I am holding my ICO but I already accepted that I might lose on that one.
Devs, I am not here to troll. I am here to help and keeping my mouth quite won't help. All cool innovations on blockchain are great, but first things first - it seems that you have bred not hundreds of loyal fans, but hundreds of desperate haters. And they will bring this coin down, no matter what you do. Exit buy wall is a must now. You will lose some of those presale BTC and you need to accept this. The longer you wait with announcing the wall and the longer you wait with building it after you get the ICO money, the more you will lose.
Sorry, but if you won't take care of army of haters issue RIGHT KNOW, someone will just take your ideas and execute them in better, smarter way.
So many people told you here that exit wall at 518 satoshi is only thing that could save this coin and yet you are doing nothing about it. You don't need actual BTC to do this, you just could promise that it will happen when you get your money and announce it.
Someone wrote here that "you could sell at 1000 satoshi". Insane! Most people were unable to do anything at that point with their coins. Also, we - the ICO buyers - were supposed to hold and help the coin grow this way. But since devs seem to - excuse my French - piss at us, this is no longer going to happen. People are just hoping to quit this coin and move somewhere where devs actually care about their investment.
Please, please, please - do not avoid this issue. Announce the buy wall immediately and build it as soon as you get your BTC. No excuses on that one! The buy wall should stand there and you could take BTC for development from it gradually.
Devs should print it and frame it!!!!!!!!! I am taking screenshot of this now, since I am afraid that devs might delete this post. Do not delete it! Act smart!!!!! Or your coin is dead. |

To everyone here with an interest in seeing HEX raise from the ashes:
I have been feeling out the Cryptocoin Revival Foundation (CRF) to see if they might be interested in helping us out. We are to the point where I think they are interested. Their last question was "What do you need help with?"
I thought that was an easy one to answer but, I was wrong, I'm not sure how to phrase the response. In the big picture the answer would be "Saving HEX" but, I think that is already implied.
So, lets hear it, what do we need help with? What changes, new directions, etc do we really want to take on and where do we want to go from here? I would like to get back to him soon, please add you suggestions if you even want to pursue this route.

The coin might as well go the drains if not managed well. VIA has great business backup (thechnologically it is not superior to SYS) - companies investing in it, developers BUILDING BUY WALLS FROM THE IPOed MONEY. The last thing is really important. If syscoin is not planning to protect our investment like that, then it is game over. No buy walls? then on day one (or rather week one) whales build sell walls to dump the price to sub 200 levels, to get more coins. If we use half of the IPO money to build buy walls, we re going to win this whales If you think there won't be whales atttacking us, then think again. Danosphere, I really hope that you will take care of that and build huge buy walls above the IPO price, even if you won't admit it here publicly. Otherwise the coin is to be torn aparat by whales.

Too many weak hands and bagholders who lost trust after the last price crash. Too many people selling now trying to recoup their losses when they should be waiting a bit longer for the price to rise soon.
yes, and 800 was the price before iconic expert started promoting the coin so probably most people bought for 800 satoshi and they are now exiting... should go smoother after those coins change hands... Similar issue will be circa 2000 satoshi |

I think we should consider the deadline.
If they give you food in the restaurant, you just pay. If they serve you excepitonally well or the food is uber great, you give a tip, additional money.
Smoke team will be paid for their services anyway. If their deliver on time, they will be tipped. Simple as that. If you end programming job quicker, you might get bonus at work. Same thing here. If the exchange is almost done, let's set the deadline for next week. Has anyone who has seen beta confirm that it is almost ready? Which date should we chose?
I agree that deadline is good idea. If they manage to launch at deadline - great. If they do not - they will deliver later, just without the tip. |

Wy would we warn them? If they are noob enough to sell the coin that is CONSTANTLY GAINING IN VALUE and then rebuy at greater price, that's their choice. It will be a costly lesson to them, but finally they will understand that there is no reason to sell coins like Voot to early. Now that we know that all innovations are real, it is only matter of time till we get back to 2000 satoshi and then to 3000, 4000 and beyond.

Great times for Voot are coming! You would have to be stupid to sell now. Don't fall into scammer's tricks - they might try to scare you into their buy orders by placing fake sell walls now.
Not going to happen. People now know true value of united Voot community. Someone is to push the price down by placing 3.5 BTC sell orders but he seems unsuccessful. Voot! Voot! BTW Iconic Expert tweeted Voot. He is in now probably. So that might be hell of a ride. |
