Cheers.

Hi. I am going to ask this question once and will not do it ever again. Yes, this might cause some FUD. But I know many would like to ask the same. I would really appreciate if devs anawer this question that they are probably tired with already.

Question:
What are the devs planning to do to make Sys price grow?

Of course there are many answers to pick from:
- nothing, let's just wait, maybe the price will fix by itself
- we are going to create stability fund (Like GB or Sync)
- we are going to provide buy support
- we are going to improve the coin and hope that people will start buying it when it gets new features
- we are going to start some marketing finally
- something else?

The site status shows that Bittrex is syncing . My transaction has not gone through either. Open up a support ticket with Bittrex.

Transferred 25k from Mintpal at 22:00 EST in 1.3 wallet. 25K received in 1.3 wallet and confirmed.
Upgraded to 1.4 wallet minutes ago. 25K now unconfirmed. Wallet on current block. Also new receive address with 1.4 wallet?
Will 25k confirm?
Thanks for the help. Regards
Did you try to put back an older wallet backup - if the same addresses are in the older backup wallet as in your last (lost) wallet
then it will recover all your coins, since the coins are not stored in the wallet, but in the *block chain*.
The only thing really important in the wallet is the private key(s) which are the "lock" to give you access to your coins in the block chain.
If you still have a wallet with those same keys (same addresses) then you can put that wallet in place of the empty 1.4 wallet (if you accidentally deleted your 1.3 wallet) and when you restart your Qt wallet version 1.4 it will see the addresses and rescan the block chain to give you your coins back. NOTE: if your 1.4 wallet already has (new) balance then backup that wallet before overwriting it with an old wallet!
NOTE2: once you have found the old balance back, you can export the private keys from the old wallet and import them into the new wallet if you want to merge the two wallets, or simply send coins to your new SYS address from the old wallet, emptying it.
Success!

Question: What are the devs planning to do to make Sys price grow?
consider to buy  some sys but not sure yet  Huh
answering this question would help to make a decision ...
I am just guessing that it makes sense to fix all major issues (like now, with the v1.4 release) then verify
that everything is stable & works, write down the details of the roadmap so it is easy to communicate
and *then* start to make a lot of PR.
Doing the PR while busy fixing things does not make sense - when new people come and see that it does not work yet, they will run and not come back, you have only one chance for a good first impression. So, the timing of the Chinese exchange is almost perfect.
Hope that Sys will show itself stable and without major bugs, so following releases can focus on adding back in the features in the roadmap.
That is why I am HODLing my sys, would consider buying if I had unallocated BTC.
I think the Devs were right in focus on full-out dev work until 1.4 release, now they can spread attention to other things.
Cheers for the devs!

I agree with ya... At least now.. A few days ago I was totally stuck in the mindset of selling this coin for a quick profit and was angry there was no price movement. After further insight and internal debate I decided this is a longer-term investment and doing a large marketing/PR push NOW, with the bugs still being worked - Would be foolish and only compound the problem.

It does make sense to first establish the system and ensure its efficiency and viability and build on it correctly. Then, perhaps they can push the coin to larger markets and people. Ultimately, in the long-run the coin needs to be stable and working properly to sustain growth and market share.

My two cents:)

It's out since last night (Euro time here)

Syscoin is gonna be huge. PErfect chance to step in now, while it is cheap.
Just wait untill they fix stability completely and start adding features one by one. Or when buy support will be released Wink

Together with Monero, these coins have my support.
