22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs BitcoinCash Which will win? on: March 25, 2019, 12:17:51 PM
Well I will be on the side of Ethereum. Even though there is no certainty in both of this crypto currencies, I will take the path of Ethereum. My reason is that, it is much more used by people in the daily life activities regarding financial transaction. Moreover, the Ethereum will be one of the good crypto currencies to invest with aside from Bitcoin of course which I prefer to be the first.
Furthermore, I choose the Ethereum because of the advancement of this crypto currency based on principle of blockchain that supports bitcoin but with a purpose that does not compete Bitcoin.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I was robbed :'( please refer … PLEASE HELP ME ! on: March 25, 2019, 10:17:28 AM
This is an unfortunate case where there really isn't anything that anyone can do for you at this point, unless the person that stole the coins are willing to just send them back. When you say that you've taken all safety measures, this is unlikely, because then this would mean that someone was able to access your private key without your help and this would imply a greater vulnerability within the entire network or MEW.

More likely you've accessed your wallet on an infected computer or got phished. If you retrace your steps you might be able to see where you slipped up and allowed an attacker access. Hardware wallets, cold-storage and offline-generated keys would be suggested for long-term storage of coins.

I don't think this belongs in Bitcoin Discussion, since it's not about Bitcoin, by the way.
I do think the same that this is one of the unfortunate happenings here in the crypto currency community. Honestly, I don’t think that the money of the OP that have been stolen can ever been bring back to him because as he said, it was stolen and not been accidentally sent to a wrong address. There still a chance if it was sent accidentally because the recipient if he or she have a good heart could have the possibility to send it back but the case is different, it was stolen, so it was something that has been hack or in any ways that they get it from his wallet.
Moreover, I never been heard anything a lost money here in the crypto currency have been bring back to the owner.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 icos on: March 24, 2019, 04:28:53 PM
don't!
ICOs have always been a terrible idea and majority of them have been purely scams. you could simply categorize all of them in 2017 as high risk bets in a gambling game. now in 2019 that they are nearly dead and people have stopped making such bets, they are even worse which means the odds of you "winning" such bets are nearly zero.
Indeed true. This is another thing that can make other people informed about this fact and to open their eyes on the current situation of our ICOs evolving here in the crypto currency community. This is also a warning and a reminder to be more cautious to the different ICOs that tend to attract us. People should always remember, most especially the OP, that ICO is a very risky way to go within. Aside from involving yourself to this risky way of life in the crypto, why not find another way like trading sites or others. Because, definitely, I don’t suggest to invest in ICO this year, and as we can see, our crypto market is still in the bearish trend which is also give us another reason to avoid most the ICOs now.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing kills a coin? on: March 24, 2019, 04:04:18 PM
I do not think that listing on exchanges kills a coins or tokens, mainly because of fact that they provide liquidity for that coin which is necessary for most of coins and tokens. Problem starts when there is much more supply than demand for that coin or token, because that leads to lower prices for that coin or token. Mostly, it is not problem which starts on exchanges, it is problem of that particular project, which is probably useless or did not get enoguh traction in the market.
Same goes for me. I do not think that listing on a certain exchanges makes a certain coin to be killed. But I guess you are right there, that the main reason why such issues and matter occur is the fact that exchanges provide liquidity for that coin which is been a part of it as it is necessary. But I know for sure, that most crypto users are aware that the demand of supply is the main reason for the slowly killing of the coin, which brings the coin or even token into a much lower prices than it should be. But all of this also have an impact from the project itself.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICO isn't recommended earning site ? on: March 24, 2019, 03:57:49 PM
ICOs have relatively became a new phenomenon but have quickly become a dominant topic of discussion within the blockchain community. As we can see, most of the people here didn’t agree that ICOs are earning site or even been a site. Because if people are also aware, they know that ICOs are a fundraising mechanism of a certain project where they will sell their underlying crypto tokens in exchange for other crypto currencies such as bitcoin or any other.
Nowadays, I have been notice how it is hard to join ICO because of many scam ICOs that have been happening in our crypto community. So better to be much more prepared and cautious in the different ICO around us.
27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Disorder (Compulsive Gambling, Pathological Gambling) on: March 24, 2019, 03:54:30 PM
I'm assuming that everyone really knows the bad effects of gambling including me. But I won't categorically say that I'm a pathological gambling. Maybe in the early years of my gambling journey, wherein I don't have responsibilities in life. But it didn't arrived wherein I need to seek medical attention. I simply go and mature and learn to prioritized things in my life that's why I was able to learn how to control my gambling habits up to know, I win some, I lose some, that's just the way it is. I wake up the next morning, not thinking about it and go on life a normal life as if nothing had bad/good happen to me last night in my gambling world.

When anyone has a big loss in gambling and he is not expecting this much loss, that can really cause a shock. I have seen people loss in gambling suffer from depression and headaches. It is a sort of game which can give you tension and even constant blood pressure.
When I was a newbie in bitcoin gambling I experienced that big loss. In the first place, I win big amount and I said I want to gamble it again to double my earnings. And then I didn’t expect to lose all of it at single bet so it really hurt my feeling losing that big amount of money so I said to myself that I will get back on my feet to recover that fiats. Then suddenly, I lost again and learned that I need to stopped to gamble my bitcoin. I concluded that being greedy in gambling makes you lose more so it is better to stay away on it when you have no luck at all.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICO isn't recommended earning site ? on: March 23, 2019, 04:54:53 PM
investing in ICOs has become more or less just another way of gambling,  the sad part is that the time you need to spend searching for an ICO that might could be both legit and successful is probably better invested  in doing anything else you're good at.

Yeah, thinking that way is very unfortunate to the investors in an ICO, they have to make sure what is the real deal putting your money in a good way or not. Moreover, the coin/token price after ICOs became too cheap. It is very risky for the investors to put money there especially if the project seem dead after a couple of month because of lack of team works.
It is advisable to invest something that you won't mind if you lose it in near future. I would prefer to invest in Bitcoin instead of any ICO that are new in the cryptocurrency world because for sure it will get you profit at anytime when bullish market come.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to distinguish between good and bad projects on: March 23, 2019, 04:45:28 PM
I think you should study the team and the idea of the project. The team now plays a major role because many scammers can change names and release new fraudulent projects.
The most important demonstrators of currency are the whitepaper and the team. While the Whitepaper is given extensive information about what they are and what they will be useful for, the team should have the power to keep project alive.
Team is more important than whitepaper, if you can know if that was a fake team and it's not worth to read their whitepaper, scam icos will always use fake identities and that's the first thing to consider the scam ico.
Truly, team is really important to observe an ICO projects. That is the basic requirements for you to avoid being scammed or deceived by them. If you see that team are really sincere in their project they will not do anything reckless that will down their reputation. And also they are hardworking in making updates third community. But it is not only the thing we should rely on, the project itself is also important because when they have a solid concepts or ideas and it can really help the whole community that project will surely be a potential asset in the near future.
30  Economy / Services / Re: for jr members and up only on: March 21, 2019, 05:46:36 AM
OP if you really want to spend your $10 amongst the community then you can go for newbies if you don't have any intentions of getting any Smerits from the users. I hope you know that it isn't entertained on this forum and you can can be red painted for merit begging! There's not strong evidence about the same so for now, you might be safe!

Delete/lock the thread immediately if you have any intentions of merit begging. Try to earn some merits instead of just begging them.

Only I am suspecting that OP begging merit indirectly. I do t see any point to distribute 1 between 10 people's and OP looking for good poster. Strange ! Who need $0.01 from you. A good poster really encourage to get $0.01 from you? And you are looking for escrow for that fund? Are you joking.

However, I don't think OP have good intentions behind that giveaway. Something is wrong.
Even i was thinking something similar as "Merit begging"
Reading the title itself gives us some hint! There also are some newbies with good posts but they don't have any Smerits so it won't be of any help to the OP. Jr+ may have Smerits so OP is just going for them.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Virtual money is really the future of the world in the 4.0 era on: March 21, 2019, 05:36:00 AM
Bitcoin is a great invention and achievement to humanity and so are the other cryptocurrencies like ether, cardano, ripple etc.. which has a use in real world.
The future will be so much better when these cryptocurrencies are accepted in the mainstream platforms. BTC can be used for large transctions.
The thing that bothers me is why can't other cryptocurrencies can be used for micro payments while BTC be used for larger transactions.
Why do people keep trolling bitcoin just because it can't be used for micro payments efficiently.
You are right the bitcoin or the cryptocurrency world is the best invention in the world because the money is cash less and hand free. If in the future that the cryptocurrency is the use for information and payment and money transaction it helps a lot to every people and to the community to invest a lot of money and wasting of time of every people will be disseminate. It possible that the bitcoin community will became the main platform of mode of payment and will become useful and effective also in to the investor and to the trader. I hope my information helps.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another proof that cloud mining is a scam on: March 20, 2019, 04:12:42 PM
I have never believed in cloud mining because i have read on several websites that they are full of scams. All they do is to get the mining power of several people and use it to their own benefit without distributing the rewards back to the individual miners. Most of them shut down after operating for a while. if you want to get into mining then it would be better to to set up your own mining rig or run a masternode instead.
I think you didn’t know already the flow of the cloud mining. That’s why you think that all cloud mining is full of scam. Cloud mining is the best way on how you will earn bitcoin in the cryptocurrency community. You say that cloud mining is scam because sometimes if it has an investment you think it is scam and not paying. Cloud mining needed an investment in order to gain you more profit but it is not scam. There is a free mining site that it is legitimate like btconline and ethonline. I hope this information helps you.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Believe Bitcoin Will Rise Again? on: March 20, 2019, 03:53:27 PM
I think btc will grow constantly till the end of year and many other cryptos will follow.

In my opinion a good number of serious long term investors are entering the game and buy coins to hold them for years.

Of course, any non-natural jump that happens will be short term like always and its perfectly natural.

I am 99% sure that now we wll think we know btc market very well but we will all get surprised again... and later again lol

Just my opinion...

In the cryptocurrency world there is no stable price and value of bitcoin or other online money. You are right that sooner or later the bitcoin value will rise again and always the positive thinker only will reach his/ her own goal.in my own world the bitcoin value will rise again because the value of that is base and depend on the market value or the price that’s why sometimes the bitcoin is in high value and low value. Way back in to past month the bitcoin is in a high value and I think It will rise again soon. The investor and the trader also a positive thinker for that kind of situation because he/she has a determination to reach their main goal.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction problem (Beginner) on: March 20, 2019, 03:21:40 PM
blockchain.com(previously .info) is known to have many different bugs in their system which they never solve. so i wouldn't be surprised to know that the transaction is already confirmed. but to be sure (in case you don't want to share it online) you can take the transaction ID they show you in your wallet and use another block explorer (like blockcypher or blockchair) and check the status of that transaction. if your tx was not confirmed then check the one it is spending, if that was also not confirmed then try going back as much as you can and see whether what you have is a chain of unconfirmed transactions because at the moment that is the only way possible for transactions with such fees to remain unconfirmed since low fee txs are also being confirmed fast these days.

and finally i would suggest using a desktop wallet instead of a web wallet such as blockchain.com. Electrum is a good one. first learn how to use them, download from the official website and make sure to verify their signature and then move your funds there.
All the transaction that it is online is sometimes have minimal problem when it comes to payment or what so ever like in a block chain but it is normal. Also sometimes encountered a problem transaction like pending transaction or unconfirmed transaction. Currently i am using a coins.ph android application and sometimes in terms of transaction my request is pending but after a few minutes or more than hour but it is resolve immediately. Coins.ph application is one android app that I want to recommend to all of you because it is easy to use and it is a user friendly. Also in this app there is so many kinds of wallet like btc, xrp, eth and bch all in one in one application.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you hate the most about your current exchange? on: March 20, 2019, 03:16:16 PM
This is really good and genuine question. Whenever a user uses exchange, finds few flaws in it which makes him or her a bit uncomfortable for trading.
For me there are two things.
First is, exchange fee. Sometimes I feel that the exchange is for large investors or traders and not for small investors like me. In such situations, it becomes difficult to purchase or send  only few tokens from exchange.
Second important thing I feel is lack of availability of tokens on exchange. Not every exchange is supporting all altcoins. This in turns makes it difficult to manage different exchanges for different altcoins to trade.

I definitely agree with you buddy. All of your concerns regarding the crypto exchanges present nowadays still have flaws within that still make people to demand and find more and more exchanges which will satisfies their own contentment. But truly, your first reason why you hate your current exchange is about the fee. Well for me, I have the feeling of that. The exchange fee is too high that only few people can afford. So how about other crypto user that only have few with them that is also wanted to use that exchange? Isn't it a bit frustrating. And another thing that you mentioned is about the availability of all the altcoins in the exchanges. This happens to me honestly. It is really hard to handle so many exchnges just because of this matter. Of course if you have many exchanges, it is very unconvenient as you need to manage different exchanges in different altcoins you have.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are not fighting with post-ICO scams? on: March 20, 2019, 03:10:37 PM
It is not that the investors or any crypto user that have been scammed by those post ICO scams don't want to do anything about their money that was taken unreasonably from them. In fact, they wanted to get it, but how? They cannot contact police or any government officials to report this kind of matter as we all know that the world of crypto currency is dependent form any government connections because of being decentralized. The police or lawyers have notjng to do with us. The only thing that the investors could do is to move on from their money and accept the fact that they have been scammed. Since they cannot do anything to find the scammers, the best thing that they can do is to restart again and made it as a lesson and another experience here in the crypto industry.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make money from crypto? (Bitcoin and alt-coins). on: March 20, 2019, 02:58:13 PM
I quit trading already, so I solely make money from doing bounties. I was never meant to be a trader, I have low temper and easy to be down when I lost in trading. What are you trying to tell when you want to be introduce to a project. Are you guys building one now, if there are slots for open for the team I would love to be in.
Just like you, I have been here in the crypto space, looking for something to earn money or crypto currencies. It is not easy to find legit and really paying work or jobs here now unlike the old days. But honestly, I still keep on striving and trying different bounty campaigns. I am joining and participating different bounties to earn. Yes, I am one of those bounty hunters out here roaming and looking for bounties anywhere. It is interesting and exciting as well. Why? Because I learned I lots of things looking for anything. I gained knowledge I never been have. I am looking forward that the market price will rise up again like the older days it was.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death Penalty to ICO Scammers! Are you favor it? on: March 20, 2019, 12:44:00 PM
As we all know still exit scam ICO's are victimizing investors including me in my frustration I wish these people be killed or if busted they must sentenced to death Penalty are you favor of it.
Well I think it is not that easy to have this kind of penalty to the scammers. And to be honest, even how I hate scammers I am not agree for a death penalty. More likely, an imprisonment is enough for those people. Because for me, even how bad what they do is, they are still people that wanted to keep living. And we are all people. No one  have the right to remove the life given to us. More than that, that person may have a reason why he do such thing. And in addition, those scaers can also changetheir fate, or change their life and take other path other than scamming, and death penalty is not the answer for this.
39  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You better invest in Bitcoin now not later and here's why (bullish signs) on: March 20, 2019, 10:05:33 AM
It is nice to know that you have submitted that you are not a financial adviser and the decision taken as a result of your advise is to the peril of the person who takes it. Hence, how are we sure that a coin bought now that is speculated as a nice time to buy won't go down more because the market is yet to show a good sign for a bull run.
My thoughts also, it can swing both ways. I am a bitcoin lover and do wish to see it hit the moon but I still cannot shake off the thoughts that we  have seen the worst  especially as it relates to price manipulations. Previous failed rallies have shown that it takes far less than the projected cash to sway the markets. If we are going to have some institutional funding soon, nothing stops them from playing a last and final one on the market if truly we are entering a bullish market.
Just like you, I am also a crypto lover, since I entered the gate of the crypto currency community, a lots of interesting and exciting things have been showed me by the crypto currencies most especially the Bitcoin. It’s been a year since the Bitcoin price last went to the moon. And to be honest, at first, when I have nothing here, nothing but a single thought that Bitcoin is a crypto currency, I tried to learn more and more. I already been one of those people that easily been attached to predictions. The thought of the Bitcoin price to get bull run again and again of course will always remain here in the community. Who doesn’t it, everybody here I am sure that wanted that to happen even at this moment.  But all of here remains as just bullish thoughts and signs which hoping to happen.
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is margin trading? on: March 19, 2019, 03:48:04 PM
If I were to ask, using the margin trading in bear market is indeed a strategy to run but only a short period. But you should remember that trading on margin effectively is the best done assimilated with a reasonable amount of experience and strict risk management policy.
On the other hand, the advantage of the margin trading is that you can make a high percentage of gains compared to your account balance.
