21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 13, 2014, 02:11:25 AM
I finally got a test environment where two separate nodes are properly communicating the SuperNET at the lowest protocol levels. So I can debug the proper processing and even some functionality between the two nodes

still having some build issues on the third server, but going from loopback to two different servers will get almost all the cases that are needed.

So, this weekend, I might be slower than usual to respond to any posts. Expect the trolls to seize this opportunity to attempt to spread the FUD. I will be closing my browser so any non-response is just because I am too busy. You can always tell them to bet against the SuperNET if they are so sure it wont work

James

James, I have this idea in the back of my head for a while.
Think about a decentralized web hosting service, running on sidechains. Can fit the best with SuperNET.

Lets imagine UNITY-WEB:
- premium decentralized hosting service- not so cheap;
- pay X amount to register a domain/hosting account, which can ONLY be accessed into the NXT wallet, for example;
- have your website/content/secret docs uploaded on your hosting/domain account;
- have an option to make it public or password protected;

Lets imagine UNITY-WEB as a decentralized WWW which is separated, no more govs killing your website/services.

now that sounds sick.. is that a service you can supply?

Any service can be supplied, you just need the funds for it. Developers gotta eat  Grin

Does this mean SuperNET is buying a stake in CoinEvolve?

What does CoinEvolve get from this partnership, exactly?

Right, the agreement didn't list any consideration.

Will superNET get CoinEvolve assets, and or will CoinEvolve get superNet assets. Will supernet be buying CoinEvolve assets? As much as lawyers seem to make things complicated, it is because they want to cover all the bases.

There are no asset transactions involved with this.
This is the advertising side of SuperNET

I make no specific recommendation as to the coinevolve asset.

James

so will coin evolve not be providing any features for supernet? just get advertising?

Correct.

It's a win-win situation here. Please read carefully

I decided yet again to abandon the new coin creation project too. I received numerous PM's from people asking me questions about this new coin, what exchanges will accept the coin, when is the coin going to be launched, etc. People wanted to buy EVOLVE Share just to receive a coin that is going to be traded for some quick buck. They did not cared at all about our services.

This decision is final! We are not going to create a coin again.
We are going to continue as planned, developing useful services for Bitcoin and other Altcoins.

As I explained on this thread, we planned to create this coin more as a tool, and create decentralized services based on its blockchain and sidechain tech.
We still aim to develop decentralized services in the near future, maybe join SuperNet if we can deliver useful tech  Wink

We are making the final touches and tests on our platform, preparing the hosting and getting everything ready to launch CoinGigs.com project. In few hours everything should be up and running. I personally like this project very much. People having the chance to make a business-like out of their hobbies and get paid in crypto, it's gonna be something big with the proper promotion  Cheesy . I'll explain everything and make an official announcement as soon as the project is up and running.

Interesting, more info on specific features ?

The main feature of the coin is going to be a decentralized marketplace implemented into the wallet (based on OpenBazaar).
Other features like anon transactions, sms transactions, encrypted chat, etc will be implemented gradually.

Remember! This coin is distributed for free to our investors. Investors can do whatever they want with the coins (sell on exchange for a quick buck or use them on our websites, their choice), we are still going to pay dividends on a monthly basis to all EVOLVE Share owners based on how many shares they own (EVOLVE Shares can also be traded freely on NXT Asset Exchange) ;

Looks like Bob and his goonies are out of the market now - I assume that was the final dump.  We can all get on now with how groundbreaking this coin is and let the price adjust accordingly to DRK coin levels and beyond!

+1

This is the new trend to pump a coin?

Why do this coin feels so strange? Why do I feel like this coin is owned only by a hand of people, being able to control the price like that. Taking a look at bittrex, hm

Really? only by a hand of people?
volume on bittrex = 470 BTC
and now on cryptsy too

Volume is irrelevant, believe me, I can generate ~400 BTC volume with 5 bots and 20 BTC, anyway
