21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Managers and Shit projects on: March 05, 2020, 12:47:31 PM
It's no more news that many of us would have had some horrible experiences participating in some resources wasting projects. However, my opinion is that, do bounty managers just accept hook line and sinker to manage bounty campaigns for any project without taking some time to look at the prospects of such project?

I think there should be some experienced members of this forum apart from moderators (because moderators' works might be too enormous) that should be in charge of reviewing projects before bounty managers are allowed to create bounty and announcement threads for such projects.  If this can be done effectively, I think the advent of these unworthy projects can be mitigated.

To wrap it up, a bounty manager once told me when I called his attention to some unrealistic plans of the project he was managing, he said he is not concerned about the success of the project, once he gets his weekly payment from the team. I want to know if there are some levels of punishment for bounty managers that manage unworthy projects apart from negative trust?

While I totally agree that not every project should be accepted by bounty managers, there's always some "guy" who will take it just because he has nothing better to do.
Over the past 3 years, I've declined tons of shit projects because they smelled of old fish from the start. Then again, I accepted very good projects that turned out to be bad in the end (team dissapears, or they refuse to pay out the bounty to hunters, etc..).

In the end, it's every hunters choice if he wants to take the risk and participate.

I agree with you.It is not always possible for a bounty Manager to calculate the risks regarding the competence of the company that conducts the bounty. In this matter, I still think it is not necessary to shift all the blame to the bounty Manager.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth is no different than a fiat currency? on: March 05, 2020, 11:35:48 AM
https://offthechain.substack.com/p/eth-is-no-different-than-a-fiat-currency

I just read the article above and would like to know whats your take on this. For me it seems true that Bitcoin is much more decentralized than Ethereum and so, much different than fiat money compared to Ethereum, still Ethereum aim is to reduce Eth issuance and it's much more transparent than fiat money. I would say Eth it's not so different as Bitcoin but still very different than a fiat currency and more decentralized.
It seems to me that nothing can be worse than Fiat money in principle. Emission is not limited, inflation is artificial.Yes it is possible that Fiat money is less volatile but the very essence of its existence in General raises a number of doubts.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season question on: March 05, 2020, 11:31:54 AM
After reading few posts on this forum today I became confused because and I decide to let it out to get answers in return, is it possible for altcoins to grow (altcoin season) without Bitcoin? I'm not talking about pumps like if a coin get burned off it's max supply or if listed on binance and other top exchanges, I'm talking about every altcoins surging on their own without Bitcoin taking the first step...
Share your thoughts, I would love to hear you out
Let's imagine for a moment that bitcoin does not exist. Can't altcoins exist without it? Altcoins are actually already firmly entered the crypto market and are not going to go anywhere.

27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do? on: February 06, 2020, 02:20:34 PM
Hi, recently so many past-ICOs turned into a scam or a deadcoin.
Is there anything what we can do to punish them? More than 2 years ICOs are scamming us and still people are investing, is this really a world what we want to create?
More than 2 years there are scammers and you still pay attention to them. Personally, for 2 years I have never gotten into scammers because I study everything before sending funds to any address.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners now is your chance on: February 06, 2020, 02:16:55 PM
Start buying altcoins before its too late, the red market you are all complaining about is a big opportunity for those who knows that altcoin time will arrive, all you need to do is ....

1. Buy altcoins that have real use cases or backed with real wprking product, they tend to always have value better than copied projects.

2. Take it or leave it, new good projects will bring better ROI than many old altcoins, feels like we've seem how far old altcoins can go already, now its new altcoins time.
In my opinion, the old altcoins have a much better chance of life than the new ones.In any case, what is happening now with altcoins (both new and old) makes me very happy.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whoa, Ethereum breaks the $200 barrier on: February 06, 2020, 02:11:10 PM
I was surprised to see that today, ETH broke $200 price barrier, and a lot of altcoins in the top 10 are also making a good run, is this the bullish signal that we all have been waiting for the altcoin market?

Source: Binance
All the prerequisites for the beginning of a bullish trend really exist.I think it will not come to a rollback.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is WPP Project finally scam? 60 Million USD for nothing? on: January 18, 2020, 09:54:40 PM
WPP was a very good project in 2018, their ICO ran for a long time and it reached nearly the hard cap 60 Million USD! The ICO price was 0.01 USD, but look at now, it's 0.00015 USD with  648 USD volume! Seriously? They did nothing promising till today! Partnered with some unknown project, making some good picture of their product with huge value! Where they said WPP token will be worth more than 1 USD! But when you ask these things in their official Telegram group, you will surely get banned, that Troy guy will do it if you ever ask about updates!

Another great project turned into shit again! So, What do you think guys about this shit project?
We can't change anything here.I had these coins and I believed in this project, but I had a difficult situation and had to sell these coins. But as it turned out, it was not in vain.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death of ICOs on: January 18, 2020, 08:48:09 PM
These things can be true but there are so many things why investors are afraid to invest to the ICO projects. They have experienced so many fraudulent ICO projects and projects that are really used to scam people. Investors lost their faith and trust to ICO. I don't know if ICO will rise up again but If we will joined together. I think that trust will come back, I am not sure if it is from an ICO or another form of launching a token or a coin.
It seems to me that the IEO form is more acceptable for investors compared to the ICO.In 2020, I am sure that only IEO will be successful among investors.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you prefer to hold for more than a year? on: January 18, 2020, 02:01:01 PM
I personally prefer to hold bitcoin and ethereum. They are good coin and more potential to hold for long term.
To be honest, I was disappointed in Ethereum. At the moment, my attention is focused only on bitcoin and the NOIA cryptocurrency.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to 2020, the year of cryptocurrency bull market. on: January 18, 2020, 01:57:02 PM
It's 2020 and what a time to be alive, bitcoin halving is around the corner and from history it has always favoured  the price of bitcoin and as altcoins mostly depend on Bitcoin rally to moon, we're in good hands. Try to avoid falling prey to scammers using fake giveaway to steal your coins. Increase your security and store your coins in private wallets not exchange. The market will begin recovery soon, don't be too smart wanting to cashout on every profit you see, it might make you lose future profits. Be patience, believe in the process. Cryptocurrency is the future.

Happy New year to every Bitcoiner and Altcoiners out there, 2020 is a year with numerous opportunities, don't let those opportunities pass you by but still apply caution in every decision you make in 2020. I wish you all a profitable year.
Thanks. And indeed, there is not much time left until may 12, and most likely bitcoin will really explode in price. Now you need to invest as much as possible in this coin. It should not upset its holders. Cool
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: January 18, 2020, 01:51:55 PM
https://news.yahoo.com/cryptocurrency-thefts-fraud-hit-1-211446327.html

In Q1 alone of 2019 there was $356m in theft of digital currencies from exchanges and scams while losses from fraud hit 851m. This number includes the QuadrigaX scam which accounts to about $134m in total losses.

What can we do to help stop these from happening and getting worse?
What can we do as users?Absolutely nothing. In the world of cryptocurrencies, risks are absolutely everywhere. All investments and steps should be taken carefully and with a cool head, but even this can not always be a guarantee of the safety of Your funds.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 Breaking the stereotypes 🔥 Exchange of illiquid tokens for real money 🔥 on: January 08, 2020, 09:05:29 PM
What is the meaning of your project? If the tokens have no value, why do you need them? I have already met similar projects and nothing good has come of them. Alas, most likely you will not succeed.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Pyramid Schemes are still Amongst Us on: January 08, 2020, 08:56:51 PM
Good instruction, but I’m sure anyway someone in the hope of quick enrichment will fall on these pyramids. That is probably the essence of man. Most of all, of course, beginners are at risk.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unidentified TX on my ETH wallet address on: January 08, 2020, 07:54:20 PM
In my opinion the topic has to close. It is clear that a third party has access to Your coins. Therefore, even a small amount of Ethereum is desirable to transfer to another address.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Guys stop investing! Use your brain, please on: January 05, 2020, 07:51:41 PM
I just fed up on IEO projects that being held by P2PB2B! After so much warning, negativity why so many people keep investing in P2PB2B IEO projects? I haven't seen any successful project from their IEO launchpad, rather some good projects ruined themselves by launching the sale on the shit P2PB2B exchange.

How the ICO dead, almost the same way IEO hype is going to over for all of these shit, fake, scam exchange. Please think hundred times before buying any coin from the P2PB2B, Coinsbit, Latoken, Exmarkets, Vidax, Coinlim IEO launchpad!
Any thoughts from you?
My thoughts are exactly the same as Yours. The exchanges you listed have done absolutely nothing to raise their reputation.Newcomers should not mess with them.Otherwise, we will only see a decrease in investor interest in IEO and the cryptocurrency as a whole.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto history making year 2020 started it's journey ! on: January 05, 2020, 07:46:11 PM
I join Your words. In 2020, many projects that appeared in 2017 and in 2018 will actually start working.I wish them only good luck!
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death of ICOs on: January 05, 2020, 07:34:42 PM
ICO terminations in 2019 were unimaginably inadequate contrasted with 2018 August and October both had none, while January 2018 had 160 projects. All things considered, 2019 projects raised additionally funding on average $6.8 million contrasted with 2018 $132,000
The interest of investors has not really disappeared.Just ICO transformed into IEO that's all.Now it is not necessary to compare the amount of fees.In 2020, we will see mainly an increase in the capitalization of cryptocurrencies.
