Can i copy or clone plot files to other HDD (or computers) and use these plot files for mining? Sad

It isn't possible. You have to generate new plots for every hard drive.

I'm trying to compile gpuPlotGenerator under Linux, but unfortunately I got these errors:

Code:
g++: unrecognized option '-static-libstdc++'
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lOpenCL
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Any ideas how to fix it?

Anyone tried to compile gpuPlotGenerator under Pimp Linux?

Maybe I'm wrong but current price is about 100-150% too high. So dump is possible shortly.

Something is wrong there.
Here its 137 MB down/42MB up in ~3 days with 20TB+ solo-mining.

How many block did you mine per 24h?

Can i mine on multiple hard drives?
Yes, you just need seperate miners running for each drive.

So I can create a plot for each disk and then start a miner for each disk?  Wink

Can I do it with the same address?

BURS----

Yes, you can and should do it to the same address.

Why does everyone keep talking about GPUs? I thought this was a hard drive capacity-"mined" coin? Huh

You mine using HDD. Before you start mine you have to create plots. They need CPU or GPU power....

What else have you got installed? Software wise?

AMD Catalyst Drivers + AMD APP SDK.

Bellow you can find picture of working gpuplot generator on R9 280x:

As I said before, it works on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, 13.xx AMD drivers.

Ok there is tested config for 280x:

Code:
gpuPlotGenerator.exe plots myaccount 68847637 18500000 4000 64

I'm getting arround 15k per minute. Great job. Thank you. Smiley

You put 64 instead of 256?

I'll try 64 to see if i got more too

I tried 128 and 256 but it didn't work.

what driver version do you have installed? windows or linux?

Win7 64-bit. Drivers 13.xx.

This is my parameter

Code:
gpuPlotGenerator.exe plots myaccount 68847637 18500000 4096 256

I run it, it started, but plot isn't generated. Win7 64bit, 280x.

Is it possible to plot over SMB?

Yes it is possible, but two times slower then direct ploting into local HDD.

it makes me more productive! i swear, instead of playing games watching videos or other things i generate plots

What kind of main processor do you have? How many nonces did you get per minute?
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient POC Mining | Update to 1.0.3 before block 6500 on: September 05, 2014, 06:58:57 AM
Hey on that linux plot generator I know I'm supposed to use this string:

 ./plot <public key> <start nonce> <nonces> <stagger size> <threads>

But can someone tell me, where or how do I modify the amount of memory I want to use?

Can someone answer this for me?  Sad

If you make stagger bigger then plot will reserve and use more memory.

If I want to connect from another computer what should I change in config file?
there is this variable in the config pointing to localhost only by default:
# Hosts from which to allow http/json API requests, if enabled.
nxt.allowedBotHosts=

i did'nt manage to add whole subnets and did'nt wanted to loose time for reasearch so i simply added my miner ips seperated by a semicolon.

Ok, thx. I will try it and let u know.

You only need one client running. It is listening on 127.0.0.1:8125 and every miner can connect to that client.

What you may need is one miner per drive.

If I want to connect from another computer what should I change in config file?

I get 3500 Nonces/Minute

I have an I7 920 overclocked to 3.9Ghz with 32GB of ram.

What is the best stagger to use? A low value or a high value?

Thanks in advance

I'm getting 3500/min on i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz (under Linux).
