21  Other / Meta / Re: Selling carded/stolen accounts allowed on this forum? on: January 21, 2015, 04:13:44 PM
It's not allowed but merely suspecting without any proof that items are being purchased with fraudulent cards likely isn't enough for us to remove threads.
I say guilty until proven otherwise.

Typical american system. In our place doesnt matter if you're guilty or not, they start treating you like a criminal right from the suspected criminal list.

That's not the typical American system.  In America, court system works pretty much independent of whether you're guilty or not.  The person with the better lawyer wins.

Anyways, it's obvious that purchasing fraudulent goods and accounts is not desirable since it means that such accounts could get taken back.  So if you know someone is doing such, just post in their thread that it was all bought using a stolen card and people will likely avoid it like the plague.

Yeah I agree.  Drinking coffee black builds character.  I read on Reddit once about some pussy who drank hot chocolate everyday which cracked me up.  He must be one obese man.

Fear is a choice.

Just like homosexuality, amirite?

You're going to go far kid - The Offspring.  It's very catchy but the lyrics don't really make much sense
25  Other / Off-topic / Re: Meet Hamdog on: January 20, 2015, 05:29:32 PM
So when is the Hamdog ICO launching?  I'll pay big coin to see that Hamdog colorized and launched a coin.

26  Other / Off-topic / Re: TV Series Recommendations... on: January 20, 2015, 05:20:35 PM
I enjoy Family Guy, but I'm sure many people won't since it's humor is kind of hinging on making references at random.  They did make a pretty meta joke about it a couple episodes ago which made me chuckle.
27  Other / Off-topic / Re: Has anyone ever seen an alien? on: January 20, 2015, 05:17:42 PM
I watch them come up over the border.   Grin

And it's not just those who are aliens.  Everyone who isn't American is a goddamn Alien and therefore must be treated accordingly.

Don't download anything sketchy.  If you suspect something, run Malwarebytes and then look to internet resources to solve any dditional problems.

A friend once managed to download a rootkit to my computer once.  It was pretty awful.  Advertisements would play in the background as in not caused by my internet browser, so I would be watching Youtube Videos or playing online games when these ads would start playing and scaring me.
29  Other / Off-topic / Re: who is your favorite korean actor??? on: January 20, 2015, 05:11:04 PM
I also liked So Ji-Sub, from A Company Man since he was very good actor.  The character he acted reminded me of Denzel Washington from the movie Man on Fire.  It's not a particularly originally archetype of a flawed man looking to settle down & find redemption for his dark past.
In addition, he's also super attractive and sharply dressed, which he has going for him.

So what's the deal with the signature campaigns?  I think I've heard of a few instances where people were banned because of it.  Is it bad to use Bitcointalk on a public network where there might be other people who post on this forum?
31  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can this work? on: October 24, 2014, 03:58:31 PM
Saying that you can predict the price of Bitcoin is a pretty bold move
32  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is satanic and Satoshi is lucifer! My uncle claims! on: October 24, 2014, 03:52:06 PM
I've seen Bitcoin rip the faces off of people!  It's a demonic coin!
33  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ban the person above you (jokingly). on: October 24, 2014, 01:23:55 PM

Counter Strike: Global Offensive!
CSGO is so addictive, never get bored playing it! Now i also addicted to CSGO betting, IMO the game is more intense than soccer Roll Eyes

CSGO is my favorite game right now. Grin

Yeah I agree.  CS:GO betting is so much fun.  Even with betting a handful of small value skins gives you a real attachment and reason to root for your betted team, which makes the game so much fun and really intense.
36  Other / Off-topic / Re: The great debate - dank vs vod on: October 23, 2014, 06:50:24 PM
It seems that Dank just tries really hard to feel victimized when he's the one at fault.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ebola's affect on Bitcoin? on: October 23, 2014, 06:47:36 PM
Yeah "affect" is a verb whereas "effect" is a noun.  Since you're just making a statement, you'd want to use the noun form
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal screw up again [Bitcoin wins] on: October 23, 2014, 06:44:53 PM
Wow.  It seems our assumptions about Paypal wanting to be more secure and cracking down on false chargebacks are completely wrong.  I guess we gave Paypal too much credit despite its track record.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing bitcoins illegal? on: October 12, 2014, 12:18:49 AM
Bitcoins aren't really controlled by a central government and a lawsuit in American ground probably wouldn't turn out too well for the accuser, so we step into this subjective nature of morality.  If there were some sort of universal laws of morality, it would probably indicate that stealing is wrong, but what do I know.
40  Other / Off-topic / Re: need to stop gambling on: October 12, 2014, 12:07:59 AM
Happened to my former husband.

He committed suicide last month. He stole money from our son, from me, other people, made up shit where he worked to get additional compensation...cops were after him for something...was 27k in debt just what he owed me.

So if you're taking risks with money you need or that you provide for anyone else, especially kids...just consider the ultimate price you pay for stupid decisions. Your life doesn't suck by any means...unless you destroy other people in the process.

Just FYI PSA  Cry

ETA for irony purposes - in June I sent him $25 worth of bitcoin to introduce him to it. After his passing I had to go through his stuff and found the wallet info he set up for block chain and just sent it back to myself so it wasn't gone forever.

At the end of the day, the only final income received from him out of everything turned out to be bitcoin.

Oh man, I'm really sorry you had to go through that. Gambling definitely isn't for everybody, especially if you have an addictive personality.
