Someone should implement a bitcoin version of heatware. Bitware?

I rarely get thunderstorms, and when I do, my renter insurance will cover any computer damage.

Awesome thanks for the suggestions guys!! Will throw some bitcents your way tonight.
Unfortunately my miners are remote so I can't check until this weekend. Will let you know what I find.
Good luck, let us know what you find :p

I am not really worried because my calculations show that I will never get back the value of my investments in the rig , already put as sunken costs . Of course unless the bitcoin jumps in value tremendously. This will happen, mark my words *marks them*

I'm scooping up as many cheap coins as I can. I sure hope you won't burn your fingers if the price takes a nosedive, be careful and good luck! Thanks :p

Nice post. I've run into a few bad extenders. Most of the time it was a poorly done solder job.

In short, only if your electricity is free. Back of the napkin says: At ~75MH/s and current difficulty you'll earn about 0.05 bitcoins / 24 hours, or about 25 days for a bitcoin. At the current exchange rate of ~$5.80 / BTC you'll make about $6 / month. If you pay for electricity, your rig is probably using around that without mining. I can't imagine how much your rig would use running that GPU at 98%+ constantly, but a lot more than $6 worth I'd wager. If you don't mind inflating your electric bill a bit to contribute to the network and have some fun, by all means, but it's far from profitable if that's what you're after. Sorry to deflate the balloon +1

Do you have another board to try the CPU in? I think you just narrowed it down to either that or the PSU.
Yeah I will have to try that. Just scared to stop my other miners and interchange pieces cause I don't want to screw anything up. bahhhh Computer parts are more resilient than you think!
