Im not agree with bots in the forum.

The problem with bots will be the non sense comments, and if people see that other users are wining easy money with bots, in a fast time we will have a lot of bots here.

Just an opinion.

There will be no nonsense comments.

I just had a look at my ratings and noticed someone used them to advertise. Posted an email address along with an irrelevant message. I was thinking that this could be exploitable since (as fars as I know) mods don't have access to edit or remove trust ratings.

If that's the case, most likely the rating will be removed. You could PM BadBear about this.

But then the trust network is moderated. hmm.

Trust ratings aren't moderated.

Visit an exchange such as https://BIT-X.com to buy bitcoins with fiat.

Nice to see bots are starting to be used, I'm interested in how they would work though, and what purpose they would serve.

Confirmation of your enrolment, confirmation of your automatic payout and a reminder for any important updates!

This campaign seems to be in 'soon to be launched' mode for quite some time now!

U are pretty smart for a bot Smiley .

Why do you need to send messages with it? I'm not sure it's gonna work with the PM limits anyway.

Messages would be made to enrolled users for example when they have been enrolled, paid or if there was an issue with the user.
28  Other / Meta / Re: Bot Rules? on: February 12, 2015, 07:59:40 PM
As a newbie you can only send messages to 5 people per hour. This would bot be a very efficient way of communicating with participants.

I doubt more than 5 messages will be made hourly. This is no longer an issue once the account is a bit older.

Nothing is said in relation to bots. Did I miss the relevant part?

This account will soon be used as a bot on behalf of the BIT-X signature campaign. It's primary use will be to message enrolled users when necessary.

Are there any rules I should be made aware of?
Don't spam too many messages to people(at least not to them who are not enrolled in the campaign).
Messaging people about the campaign is your right so I don't think anyone should have a problem with that.

Also it would be better if you can explain properly that what this bot will exactly do except for messaging people?
I also feel that forum wouldn't like too many ping requests from the bot.

Also when will the bot be ready?

Messages wouldn't be spammed and would only be sent to those enrolled in the campaign at most once a week and upon enrolment.

I'll provide more details on it's functioning relatively soon!

It is more or less ready to be used.
