I support the coin, but I’m really pissed. There was no announcement at all (the wallet facelift was posted before the “this weekend” statement was announced, so it does not count) We don’t even know who the person is behind the “Ascension Dev” is. We don’t know the goals of the coin. We don’t even know what’s in the works. How many people on the team? What are short and long term goals? I’m not asking for the dates, mind you. Today I bought 600k for 270 satoshi and dumped it down to 80 satoshi. Lost about 1 BTC on it. You can call me a fool or a troll, I don’t care. I am still supporting the coin, but I don’t like that there is no transparency. We don’t know anything… Anyways, here’s my new BUY order. After a few more “this weekend” announcements like this, my order will start filling in. Or I might change my mind and find some other coin. :-(   Yep, that's me also :-) I already wrote that I sometimes get sentimental. And I have no idea how to trade properly. I was really pissed that the "we will post updates during the weekend" turned out to be "what updates? haven't you seen the wallet facelift a few days ago?". I'm still pissed about it. But I chatted with the dev after that, I hope this will not happen again. All other news/features will be NINJA-added :-) But I have interest in this coin. And I have spare BTC :-) And I'm not bored yet and having fun. |

WOW,Whos wall is it? 0.00000888 1975500.98220578 17.5424  Mine. But I will move it higher later. That's also AscendClub funds (I'll have to move it to a staking wallet later). I just want more cheap ASN for everyone (myself included). As I said before, I'm shooting for 3000 satoshi. Not this month of course, but I can wait... Today's joke with a virus was a funny one :-) So funny that I bought 300k for about 400 satoshi price. I am just surprised that people see the community interest, that the dev is adding features and services in a timely manner and are still selling big time. |

so the whole point of joining club to move price up. plus where will you be giving us the dividends from
I have 1 million now. Am ready to do escrow for 250k for peace of mind of club members. And am sure will get more ASN while driving the price upward. |

Thanks for kind words. I want to help ASN as much as I can and I want to profit from it in the long term [I am planning to sell some of my ASN once Ascension is in Top100 and has about 3000 satoshi price].
So I presume there is interest in AscendClub...
Let's elaborate, maybe there are some proposals / changes to the rules?
And yes, first rule of the club is to talk about it as much as you can :-) We want more people holding on to their 100k ASN and staking them rather than playing the BitTrex (and hopefully Cryptsy) game.
If I have the Dev's blessing, I will spin this up and make it official this week.

Dear AscendCoin community,
I am not affilated with Ascension Coin developer, but I am an investor. Currently ASN is my only investment besides BTC.
I used to be a coin dev, but got bored and left [the coin is still alive, but I will not tell you it's name]
I don't have much experience in trading and sometimes I get a bit passionate. :-) (Just see about 10 pages back)
But anyways... I "smell" that ASN may become great and want to help (I already did, sort of).
How I can help: beta testing, overall comments and recommendations / ideas, donations and... buy walls.
So, without further ado, I'd like to run a "AscendClub" proposal past you...
You know that DASH/Darkcoin has an incentive for long term investors to set up masternodes and thus keep the funds off the exchanges.
So...
I am proposing to set up a special community for users that have 100,000 ASN or more in their wallet [not on exchange].
They put 100k in their ASN wallet and send the AscendClub chairman (probably me for now) a PM signed with their wallet.
Then they don't remove any coins from their wallet for 30 days [adding is ok, but doesn't make much sense, more on this below].
Once 30 days have passed, they receive 2500-1000 ASN (more on amounts below) from AscendClub fund (that's 30-12% per year on top of 20% POS, so total you can get is 50%-32%).
*April 2015 payouts will be 2500 ASN per month [put 100k and PM before 30 April and receive 2500 ASN in 30 days from your PM].
*May 2015 payouts will be 2000 ASN per month [put 100k and PM before 31 April and receive 2500 ASN in 30 days from your PM].
*June 2015 payouts will be 1500 ASN per month [put 100k and PM before 30 April and receive 2500 ASN in 30 days from your PM].
*July 2015 and later payouts will be 1000 ASN per month.
Currently with 18.5 million ASN in circulation, there can be a maximum 185 AscendClub members.
Are there any risks?
No, we don't own your coins. You can sell them at any time if you so desire, it's just that you will not receive "dividents". It's more convenient to sell them once 30 days pass.
30 days counting starts from the moment you send the PM.
What if I have more than 100k, say 500k?
Then you need to move the money into 5 wallets and send 5 individual PMs with wallet signature.
Are there any additional benefits?
Yes, we are planning to set up a closed forum and/or email distribution list.
Where will the money come from?
500k+ have already been organized [I'll post wallet address once this goes live]. Hopefully club members/investors will contribute some more.
Ascension Coin dev does not know about this, this is entirely my incentive [I'll be blunt, I want to move the price up and stop those shaky hands selling ASN].
I hope he approves it.
And obviously, we can discuss all of it here.
If there are no objections, we can launch shortly [this week].

I am one of those morons. I wish I had my coin back at prices 6 days ago level.
Talked to dev. Buying more. Bought 1M today. I wish I was a more experienced trader, then I'd probably got 1.2M for what I paid. More BTC coming in a few days, the will buy more. The coin is very undervalued now, because not enough people know about it. But that's changing soon... PS: Nobody interested in "AscendClub" ? |

We're now #209 in http://coinmarketcap.com/ With a price of around 500 satoshi we will be in top 200. And to make it into top 100, the price has to be about 2,500 satoshi! |

It is interesting that the ASN price hasn't increased much after the announcement. Even my 200k order for 305sat is gone now.
Soon we will be all glad if anybody wanted dump below 3000sat when dev released android staking wallet . Impatience is always a weakness of trading . At the beginning developer said ASN is a long term coin with a long-term plan . The same traders who now dump at 300sat 100k coins will become panic buyers at 3000sat . I'm just saying Maybe a stupid question, but do staking Android wallets exist? I remember that they did not exist a few months ago, do they now? If not, then I presume ASN will have the 1st one? Will it be immediately open sourced or we will keep the advantage? Thanks |

Ok :-) A note to bagholders... How about setting up the buy walls higher and moving the price up? Say to 500+ satoshi. I already have enough ASN, but din't mind pumping up the price higher. I just dont want for somebody to dump on my wall like the last time. Perhaps we can cooperate somehow? Pm me if interested. I am proposing to try and get into coinmarketcap top 200. Then shoot for cryptsy listing. Its really hard to get there, but possible. Dev... I think you need to involve community more. Like beta testing, etc. perhaps some voting campaign. I think it gives the community something to do until next features are ready. If you look at forums of well established coins, you can see that its not just the dev who keeps the coin forward. People also contribute. Even if just by making btctalk thread have more pages. |

Just sent 44,000 ASN to donation address. Please note that this amount includes the 35,000 ASN for the logo contest. So that is 9,000 ASN donation + 35,000 for logo. PS: I already posted the icon that I think is pretty good, but I really hope we will have more like these.  Too bad, I have some idea. Just my version of logo.  |

we stuck at price and buying asn is slowly going to the back side of bittrex....
we do not want that?!?!
inform us about the progress!
Dev, please make sure we have something big before BitTrex puts ASN for delisting due to low volume. Because I think no matter how many cheap asn you accumulate, the coin will die in that case. |

Logo contest should be this coming week as long as user8x8 is still up for it. My 35,000 asn are ready to be paid to logo contest winner. Perhaps some body else wants to add some more ASN to the prize? Also I think that we need coin logo, wallet splash acreen and twitter account background. Psd/ai/whatever originals included. |
