To be honest I wouldn't put money into either Bitcoin or Gold.If I had 2,000 USD to invest right now I would by Oil,and not futures I mean straight out own the barrel.It is what 48.00 a barrel today......I would hold half of it til it hits 60.00 then dump half and reinvest profits at slightest dip.Or at that time by gold.I would never buy BTC ....It is on a death slide IMO and will be replaced by whats known as a Gen 2 hybrid cryptocurrency.But this is just my opinion.Do whatever you like.

I can get away with it Im a newb....lol Anyway referring to the above. I suppose if all the pieces fell into place you could see an increase of use/valuation over said fiat.I don't think it would be likely to happen at this time. I would point out the number of BTC holders who would stand to gain in such a scenario that were actually in the position to capitalize on said Fiat's demise.And also the per capita of BTC holders in said region would need to be high.Perhaps there are a significant number of holders in the US for example,however I know absolutely no one personally that currently holds or intends to hold BTC,most of the fellow Americans I meet don't even know what BTC is.And with that statement most Americans I have met would rather grab their bullets than their computer or harddrives if/when the dollar does collapse.

I don't hate people,What I have been taught from cruel experience is hatred of peoples actions,such as corruption,manipulation,and bigotry for personal gain. I have to live in this world that the ones who practice these things visit upon myself and others who think like me. I wish very much it wasn't this way,but it will remain this way until those fundamental concepts change and the Human race actually evolves to a more enlightend state of being.

I'm very leery of this type of site.I wont be making any investments at this time.I will however,put this thread on my watchlist.I'm curious to see how it plays out.

I haven't read any other posts on whether bitcoin is dead or not,other than this one and another about some end of the world asteroid hitting tomorrow. I will say this though,I dunno if it is dead now,but I do believe it will not survive to be the major cryptocurrency of the world in the not so distant future.
