EVERYthing else was eventually sorted out to my satisfaction.
it took a while and was not as smooth as i'd have liked but must be honest and I appreciate the eventualities.
as for this fk - who knows, i cant even work up the will to open her yet - i can hear it in the other room winding up & down, up & down...
i have better things to do.
Ah..power the beast down for a bit and then give her an enema of compressed air Hopefully she flips over and returns to service!

Is this kit being sold from GAW?
No this is not GAW. Sorry, every time I hear mention of S. Mississippi I think of Homero and his big 'ol bill he owes to MPC.

Damn routing issues! Someone must have f-ed up real bad, usually these type of issues get sorted pretty quickly.

After a 2 week SP20 shutdown with NO movement, NO manipulation AT ALL. merely switched off at the plug.
only 1 chip is hashing.
there is no visible damage to the headers, so i am stumped.
will open her up today but hardly care at all - just saying these rigs arent all that great.
non-believers, feel free to sling 'mud'
I was just wondering what ever happened with your situation..sorry to hear your problems continue

I hope he returns your coins and I have posted negative feedback against him until this matter is resolved. I encourage others to do the same, we should not tolerate these scammers on here.

Just coming back from a week-end in Ukraine (Poltava) and have not seen any war, bribery or kidnapping. Quite the contrary - I found the people very nice and the city/country seemed fine. (of course things look more difficult than in western europe - and there were many uniforms in the streets - but I felt like it won't stay like that forever) That being said, I think Romanko takes little risk disclosing information about his scammer, nobody is going to go after him for that... But, EvBitcoinFan, if he is right, you are going to face real trouble now and in the future. (for example when you are looking for a new job)
The situation in the Ukraine is pretty creepy at the moment and lots of people over there lost a lot and their lifes are hard! So it's pretty poor to write such posts.. I don't have any understanding for posts like this at all..
You are in deep shit man. Scamming people and trying to play the victim. Return the bitcoins you stole from the guy.
I know various people in the FBI, and won't hesitate to contact them if he doesn't return the Bitcoin.
Thank you guys for your support! I really really appreciate it! After revealing some of the personal info of EvBitcoinFan (his original name is Alex Nicolas Haxton, and he's from Atlanta, originally Russian) he contacted me, apologized and promised to return my money in few days. It was on May 15-16. On the same day he sent me back 4,4 cons. Since then no willingness to refund, no intentions to return the rest of the coins at all. I stopped posting, I wrote numerous emails to him, it seems to me I used the word "please" in my emails more than hundred times. No use at all. Most of the time Alexander ignored my emails or wrote something like "what?" or "I returned all the money I had", or "I'll write you an email later/in the morning", or "I'm getting my wifi installed so it will be easier". I got nothing but some senseless responses. Got the impression of fooling myself to believe in returning my money in a nice way without anyone getting hurt. So it is obvious to me that there is NO sense to hold negotiations with a liar! And for the record. About his "I gave back all the money I had". The guy is waiting his ordered new electric Tesla (costs over 70 000 USD). And while he is waiting for his new tesla the poor guy drives an electric BMW i3. He just moved to a new apartment with rent over 2000 USD monthly. There are numerous examples to prove hi is so phony. While I'm making room to arrange my flight to Atlanta I would appreciate any assistance or any contacts of accountable people in police or FBI. There can be much more victims of Alexander than we think. P.S. About responsibility for revealing the scammer's OP: he revealed it himself on bitcointalk.org by posting his reliable account on BTCJam where he invited people to follow his Tweeter and boasting over the fact that he has over one million followers. So if anyone wants to follow his tweeter - here it is @AlexanderHaxton. I'm sure he will be more than happy to have few more "real" people to follow him rather than to buy hundreds of thousands of non existing followers. Greetings from Kiev, Ukraine - a beautiful country with nice, open and hospitable people! Romanko, if you don't mind me asking, how many more coins are still owed to you?

I hope you get your money back Romanko, I hate to see people get scammed on here. Even if he's driving across the country and yet still responding on here, how hard is it to return your btc back and make this right?

I'm not really happy with my Ants a lot more bugs/problems than s3.... Such as? Don't say shit like this without giving some details. From about 10 Ants one is with dead controler board, 3 more Ants are not running stable after a few hours the hashrate drops a half and i need to restart the miner..... before S5 i have a lot of S3 Ants - rock solid device if we compare it against S5. PS : I dont like Bitmain Warranty Support, after a week from my first message.....nothing just "try this" , "try that".....today i try to fix the Ant firmware with bootable sd card but nothing, now i'm waiting for answer whats next. Is there any chance to receive a working controller board from Bitmain or i have to pay again ? If you are in the US, ship it to their Colorado site (pm BitmainWarranty on here).

You got a good deal mate, the S5's are cheaply made and I've had several of my units fail after just a few weeks after putting them into service. Glad you sold them!
|
|
|
It's a good box but I think your price is a tad too high unless it's on ebay. I've seen them selling in the $1600-1800 range lately. Unfortunately SPT support is scarce now...good luck if it breaks.

|
|
Keep in mind you can get them new for $340 + shipping directly from BitMain and you get 90 days warranty. Shipping to the US takes about 3 days.
|
|
|
Why are you selling so low when they cost $1070 shipped direct from Bitmain to the US right now?
Can't sell them at retail price. Just a few units I have at a low cost available. You must have got a good price on them, I'd rather sell them on ebay than take a loss on here.

I think that there is an avatar signature campaign. I am still not sure that all these signature deals are worth doing. That Bit-X is everywhere and is somewhat of a distraction
Huh? Avatars and signatures are completely different things. Avatars were disabled for a long time on the forum because there was a hack in the code that was being exploited. They got turned back on again a few weeks ago and we were able to setup avatars again. No biggie. Anyone can do it, got to your profile and then forum profile information, and from there there is a link to set your avatar if you want to. I think that you are incorrect. There is apparently an avatar campaign, that's why some folks avatars keep changing. I think that there is an avatar signature campaign. Not yet, but I'm sure there will be eventually - whether that'll be allowed is another matter. see above You guys need thicker tin foil How can you say there is a "apparently an avatar campaign" from someone saying "not yet" LOL Anyway even if someone thinks there will be one eventually, I don't see how there can be a very effective campaign other than a branding one because you can't have any html in your avatar so you can't click through to it, and its limited to only png, jpg or gif. So you could have a fancy animated logo for some company sponsor but no way to track clickthru's etc. why it matters that someone says "not yet" when the fact is that there is one. Just go to Services and see if you can believe your "lying" eyes or not. Besides, i don't think that an avatar campaign rises to tin foil status, regardless. On a more relevant note, I am happy with my Sp20E-working pretty good for a few months already. Endless tinkering with settings provides "mining" satisfaction. I stand corrected that there is indeed one, but I stand by what I said that its not going to be very effective. And people will probably waste their time with it. Either way it has nothing to do with Roadstress' question. This is the first and only Avatar I've had. And I answered his question in the first instance. well as you can see my avatar i'm in this avatar campaign with the cryptovpn one....as long as I post as much as i do...putting up the avatar in addition to the cryptovpn sig (you can run them both w/o cryptovpn getting miffed) ..instead of 0.14 btc a month with that avatar added it is 0.21 Btc a month so as value added what the heck..but yeah you could be right may only last a month or so .....new stuff ....so we will see.... i'm probably gonna put some usb sticks up on the auction site there and get some DUST amount for them just so folk know how sorta kinda it works at least at my hero level sorry this is off topic but folk have been asking here about such .....feel free to kill all the posts on this in the thread if you wish any mod on here Pesobang.com, sounds like a donkey show in Tijuana lol..you've sold your soul for a few satoshis Eh. More likely rented it Love your username, though. lol rent your soul to the cartel for a few satoshis

For the past couple of days now, Slush shows a drop in hash rate. I get my email notifications letting me know it dropped. Interesting. I'll have to start my investigation.
What the verdict on this latest firmware?
I have been happy with original firmware. I'm running a batch 1 with original firmware. Unless I have major trouble I doubt I update it. When something works I don't mess with it . if it ain't broke, don't fix it All of my batch 1's are still going strong with original firmware too.
