As I see, you´ve tried to enter "BTH" (Guess you mean BCH) as an ICO Coin/Asset with a custom value.
But you did not enter a value in the summary. It´s not going to work this way.

There are 2 ways you can enter your BCH now:

1) The easy way:
Add your BCH as "gift" with a cost basis of 274.59 USD per coin (the initial price on August 2nd).
(Edit the Asset value in the pop-up window on the "Enter Coins" page.)

2) The correct way:
To make it 100% tax compliant, you would have to search for every single BTC transaction you made (before August 2nd) and create an additional BCH transaction at the same date/time and with the same amount (just with a 0 USD cost basis).
At the end (on August 2nd) you will have the same amount of BCH as your BTC amount in your CoinTracking account.

But if you have hundreds of BTC transactions this method can be quite time wasting.

However if you plan to keep your BCH for more than 1 year, you can ignore this method and go with the first one, as your BCH will be tax free anyway.

Yes, it´s true. Our system is quite complex at first. But it´s very flexible and powerful, once you become familiar with it.

Something like a more light version, is on our idea list. Until now it´s not quite certain how realistic a possible integration would be.

Um verschiedene Transaktionstypen genauer verbuchen zu können und eine detailliertere Aufschlüsselung zu erhalten, haben wir uns am steuerlich-rechtlichen Standard orientiert und den Umfang an Eingabearten erweitert. Dies ermöglicht eine genauere Berechnung der Steuer und vereinfacht die Eingabe, wie auch die Strukturierung des Portfolios.

Zusätzlich zu den bisherigen 3 Typen (Trade, Einzahlung und Auszahlung) ist es nun auch möglich weitere Typen zu verbuchen. Die neuen Typen werden in sämtlichen Berichten berücksichtigt und haben ebenfalls eine direkte Auswirkung auf den Steuer-Report.

Folgende Transaktionstypen können ab sofort in unser System eingepflegt und steuerlich berücksichtigt werden:

Kapitalertragsbericht - Verkäufe von Anlagevermögen:
Beinhaltet alle Verkäufe des ausgewählten Steuerjahres inklusive der jeweiligen Kostenbasis, berechnet mit der ausgewählten Methode.

Einkommensbericht:
Einkommensbericht einschließlich Mining und aller erhaltenen Geschenke.

Bericht zu Spenden und Schenkungen:
Alle Geschenke und Spenden, die im ausgewählten Steuerjahr verbucht wurden. Es gibt keinen Gewinn für Geschenke und Spenden, da die Kostenbasis auf den Empfänger übertragen wird. Wenn die Empfänger diese Vermögen ausgeben möchten, benötigen diese die Kostenbasisinformationen.

Bericht zu gestohlenen und verlorenen Coins:
Alle Verluste, die für das ausgewählte Steuerjahr verbucht wurden. Sie können unter Umständen von der Gesamtsteuer als Verlust mit der jeweiligen Kostenbasis abgezogen werden.

Abschlussbericht zu nicht verkauften Positionen:
Diese Tabelle beinhaltet alle Coins inklusive deren Kostenbasis, die sich noch im Besitz befinden.

To be able to enter different transaction types more accurately and to get a more detailed classifications, we decided to orientate towards the common law and tax standards, by increasing the amount of transaction types.

With this additions it is possible to calculate the Tax-Report much more efficient, to add entries much easier and to improve the structuring of a portfolio on Cointracking.

Additionally to the current 3 types of transactions (Trade, Deposit and Withdrawal) it is now possible to enter more types into our system. These new transaction types are considered in all reports and especially have an influence on the Tax-Report.

From now on, following transaction types can be added to our system and have impact on the calculations:

(EXCHANGE) Trade Purchases/Sales
Are listed in the Capital Gains Report.

(IN) Deposits (Transfer)
Are considered as transfers between wallets or exchanges and are not included in the calculation.

(IN) Mining
Are listed in the Income Report with the value at the time of transaction.

Information about the different kinds of Reports included in the Tax-Report:

Capital Gains Report - Your Sales of Capital Assets:
This table contains all sales during the selected tax year including its appropriate cost basis, calculated with the chosen method.

Income Report:
Income report including mining and received gifts.

Gift and Donation Report:
All gifts and donations made in the selected tax year. There is no gain for gifts and donations as the cost basis is transfered over to the recipient. If the recipients wishes to spend those coins, he needs the cost basis information.

Lost and Stolen Report:
All losses you have reported for the selected tax year. In some cases they can be deducted from your total tax as casualty losses, at their original cost basis value.

Closing Position Report:
This table contains all coins that you still own including their cost basis.
