the difference between the x64 version and the x86 version is a few things 1. you get a small increase using the x64 version 2. the x64 binary works with 5.0, 5.2 and 6.1 compute cards (Geforce 7, 8, 9, 10 series) 3. most people are using x64 windows now a days anyways.

A lot of people were having problems compiling the windows binary, so I compiled it for them. I left credit where credit was due to djm34 who coded it with a link to his github in the release.
Have you compiled for windows? You can thank me I have compiled for windows numerous times when i was trying to build my own video game with darkbasic. but would only get exes never learned how to compile the dlls.

Sorry but some folks are trying to mine with scrypt and some strange algos and are flooding the server with that. I'm banning them but they just come back with another ip.
I'll try to ban maybe the subnet
I think some people are impatient with the wait of gpu mining so they are trying to find a work around

same with mine, I tried with my desktop and it keeps declining. not just for Suprnova, but for pool.mn and maxminers as well. I am guessing there is an issue with the stratum?

so I was one of the ones who lost their investments from Hashocean, and today I got an email from someone claiming that they are from hashocean and it states the following : "Hello, unfortunately these days our website hashocean.com, was hacked. Hackers took our domain and we have no control over anything. For our stupidity, we do not have the backup of the database. We will do the refund for you, but as we have not saved history, we will refund you your mining purchase under the following conditions. "Take the following actions properly, we have more than 700,000 users, and if we are looking for 1 by 1, would take years." To receive your purchases refund please visit: hashocean-refunds.com" A link to a screenshot is here http://imgur.com/36M4pzxIf anyone who gets one of these emails sees this do not send any money to them, Chances are they are just trying to take your bitcoin and run what the hell they are still requesting for an activation fee just to give the refund to their users ? they are a son of a bitch ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) in able to receive your refund you must still pay for that so for all the members of HO you have no choice but to let it go ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) They want to trap their users again and snatch all bitcoin of users, they have some method to make they victims believe with them. this only HO traps not to try if you don't want to lose your money again. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) yeah i think so that it is just a trap , but it is not our fault if those people fell to this trap again after losing their money from purchasing any contract to hashocean . I mentioned before I did a lot of research on hashocean for about a year before I signed up with them. I actually thought they were mining feather coin because the daily income matched the calculator plus the price of feather coin. So i thought they were mining using neoscrypt boy was I wrong lol

I would raise 2 questions about that email that you claim that you received 1. The person who sent you that email of course knows your email address, that's elementary ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) 2. That person who knows your email address knows that you invested in HashOcean So who knows your email and knows that you are an investor of HashOcean? HasOcean? or a good friend of yours who knows about your investment unless you only use 1 email for HashOcean and your personal mail and you posted it somewhere. It's quite simple for anyone to get an email address chances are someone from hashocean gave a database that had everyone's email from hashocean.

the "refund" guys are just some guys trying to get some free btc, they have nothing to do with hashocean. they just try to take advantage of the situation. sad thing is many people will actually send BTC.
That's just it I traced the bitcoin address and it came up with already having upwards of $20,000 worth of btc already in it when i got the email.

@OnlineDragon I thank you for the advice, what about genesis mining or hash flare? They charge daily maintenance fees of 0.008 per 10 ghs? The roi is about 6 months. Or no to any cloud mining companies?

Well the only thing close to hash ocean is bitsrapid but i wouldn't recommend them. Website expires in a year but it shows a company name on its whois so maybe they are legit who knows I just don't want to see anyone get burned twice
|
|
|
Well just checked the website is down so hopefully they didn't snatch anyone's bitcoin up

Interesting, not every scam tries to pull a double like this. First luring people in with phantom riches is common, running off with a poor excuse like "we've been hacked" is common as well, but this adds plain old abuse of desperation. Obvious advice; take your loss. If you invested, your money is gone. Stop hoping.
Exactly that is why I am warning people about the email. I literally got 7 emails from the same account stating the same thing so to me that raises a red flag. as for me, I may buy an antminer or look into other mining alternatives. The funny thing is I hummed and hawed for close to a year about hashocean then did research on it using cmmonitor to see if they were paying until i got into it.

I invested maybe $150 dollars CAD in hashocean I was fortunate enough to receive my ROI 3 times and reinvested into it.

I was wondering if there was a site similar to twitch where you get bitcoin from streaming video games?
