21  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: September 04, 2017, 07:22:44 PM
If a person gets a good date he/she won't probably return, If a person made a good/bad bet he/she will surely return. Calculate yourself.

Agree, most of gamblers are a little bit addicted to gambling, so i wouldn't be surprised if they actually wanted to bet, and probably lose, more. Besides, there is lots of free dating websites already, why would someone use paid one?
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: August 30, 2017, 05:50:48 PM
No bitcoin cannot replace dollar as it is very powerful and the government will do anything to maintain its power.Bitcoin can come up as a competition to dollar but cannot replace it

Yeah it can't replace dollar or any other currency... yet. Dollar is much stronger than bitcoins right now, and will be stronger for many years, but i am sure than after 20 years bitcoins will be stronger or at least equally strong as dollar.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: August 30, 2017, 05:47:14 PM
Whatever you would have mined since 2015 (as the thread was started then), you must have got some real handsome profits atm because most of the alts too had some serious rallies in the past few days. But it is my serious advice to you or anyone involved in Bitcoin mining activities to please hold their Bitcoins currently as the price will not be this cheap [YES I MEAN IT, IT'S STILL CHEAP ATM].

Of course, if guy listen advise to hold BTC:)

and other coins toooo... hope his mining capacity increased and he don't make foolish decision of selling miners and BTC

It is good to hold bitcoins, but don't forget that mining is usually expensive... So most of miners have to sell at least half of their coins so that they could pay for electricity fees and such. But if they would have enough money, of course it's better to hold them.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: August 28, 2017, 08:35:56 AM
I believe that bitcoin will reliably touch the $ 5000 mark by the end of this year or maybe even more. Now it has started to grow rapidly and become more popular among the population.

It will not even take the year end for Btc to reach 5k levels . It will attain it before itself and the next target for Btc is to reach at 5k levels and acheive another milestone. Currently it's at 4300 hope that first it cross 4500 quickly and move toward the another goal of 5k levels mark which I expect it in Sept itself to achieve it .

I agree, chances that bitcoin will hit 5000$ mark before December 31st is huge, but i think that once it will go to 5000$ it will fall down days later... Probably we will see price like 4000$ at end of this year.
25  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: August 28, 2017, 08:34:14 AM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
Having a decent amount of bitcoin for me can be considered as rich. Maybe not on your standard because I think you will just consider an individual or yourself rich if you already have that much amount of bitcoin in your hand. But the possibility of getting rich is always present and visible depending on how you strive hard to get near to your goal.

Well it depends on how expensive is bitcoin at that point. I don't think you would name yourself rich if you had 10 bitcoins when they were 10$. I think you can start using "rich" If you have 100k $, i don't think it matters if you had 1 bitcoin that's worth 100k or 10 bitcoins that are worth 10k each.
26  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: August 25, 2017, 09:47:49 AM
We cant be rich anymore, but we can profit and % up, those who wanted to be rich are rich already, a decade ago if you had the intention to get rich you could get rich now the day, but today there is no more chance, just double, triple or whatever your money and not more unfortunately

We still can. There are a lot of young people that got rich because of their good profitable ideas. Good example is mark zuckerberg, he's only ~30 years old and is super rich.

You say you can't get rich but you can get profit, so if you will get enough profit you will be rich.
27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 1 BTC , is it good decisions to go all-in in 1 coins? on: August 25, 2017, 07:44:21 AM
the title says it all, i wanted to learn some advice from you guys, how you guys actually manage trading if you already had with that such amounts or more

It is never worth to go all-in anywhere. I mean some traders sell only half of their coins when price is really high, because they don't know how price will change in future, price might rise 3 times next day, so they still keep some coins for that. Same with going all-in in one coin, it's too risky as you don't know how price will change. Maybe it will fall by 50% next day... too risky.
28  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best coin to buy today? on: August 23, 2017, 09:55:39 AM
if you want you can buy NEM vs RIPPLE, i think true coin potential. You need circumspect gas invest any coin.
Because any coin can become coin garbage

It is really bad idea to buy ripple now, when it's price rose by 55% in few days. Soon it might dumb down so it is really risky to buy it now imo.

I'd say bitcoin and etherium. Yes they are popular and my opinion is boring, but it is much more risky to buy other coins instead of these older ones which are little bit more stable.
29  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't Spend Too Much Time Trading? is that true? on: August 23, 2017, 09:46:16 AM
i'm one who spend too much time for trading. I made so many stupid mistakes because of thinking emotionally instead of logically. Cry
what is your opinion?

You probably got tired and you got bored, so you wanted profit faster which resulted that you lost money. You should try to do what i do when i'm tired, do a bit of trading in morning ( check prices, buy or sell something ) and then forget about them for rest of the day and trade again next morning only, this way i avoid stupid mistakes i would do otherwise.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Help with poker on: August 23, 2017, 09:09:07 AM
I really don't think it's a bad idea to start playing poker tournaments, even if you are a beginner. Even though cash table and tournaments require very different strategies, I think that tournaments are a more safe environment for beginners. Also, I think it's a waste of time to play with play money. Users just don't care there, and he will not learn anything. Going for freerolls is the best approach. He will probably win something, and he can then just go for normal ones, or cash tables, and continuing to learn how to play the game, without risking his own money. If he is good enough, he should be able to build a bankroll, and go up through the limits without spending a dime.

It is better for newbies to play in tournaments if they are free ones. It is a good way to learn indeed, as people there tries to win seriously, even if they don't risk money. So it is much better to train against them instead of people that go all in every single bet.
31  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Help Me! on: August 23, 2017, 09:05:06 AM
I just lost my $50 while gambling! I want to get it back. How can I earn back my money? I really need it. Also I don't know if this is supposed to be posted here or not so sorry if it is not.

Do not gamble again to get back what you lost. This is mistake that many gamblers, which leads them to losing even more. Just agree that you lost money that's it, and try to find other, less risky ways to earn. your account is jr. member, i am sure that you can find some signature campaign that will accept you. They won't pay much, but at least it's better way to earn than gambling!
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: August 22, 2017, 09:59:21 AM
Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.

I am sure that most of kids and adults don't know what bitcoin is, but that don't mean that it will be too hard for them to understand it. If they know paypal, just tell them that it is similar - virtual money. They don't have to know anything about blockchains and other confusing things.

Youngsters cant effectively comprehend what is bitcoin, whats the procedure, how it works. In any case, I think, the most straightforward approach to disclose bitcoin to youngsters that its an digital cash, monry on the web and demonstrates a few recordings how can it functions. Shows some video that youngsters can without much of a stretch get it

That's the point. I am sure that it would be hard to understand even for 13 year old kid, older ones might understand it more but not young ones. But like i said, they don't need to know that. They can use bitcoins even if they don't know how they work, while i am sure that they know or at least will understand what digital money is.

34  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin break $4500 this week? on: August 21, 2017, 08:20:07 AM
It's possible, but i don't think that it will happen. I am sure that price will stay stable at ~4100 till September, then it should rise. Keep in mind that we predict only - who knows what will happen in near future.
35  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's The Minimum Investment? on: August 20, 2017, 11:10:51 AM
If you're looking to make any sort of profit from cryptocurrency and you're just starting out, what do you think is the minimum starting investment you ought to put into it?

Yes, I know "you should only put in what you're willing to lose" but surely there should be a barest minimum, right?

Minimum is less than 0.5$ i guess, i wouldn't risk to trade altcoins with more than 10$ though. I guess you mean investment in altcoins as in trading, so that's why i say that. If you'll be able to get at least 5$ from 5$ that you deposited (example) then i think you could try to trade with more.
36  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: August 20, 2017, 11:08:05 AM
Trading is the most common way for increase in BTC
next will be some investment in good projects, do some lending

I'd say that investing is more common than trading because it requires way less skills and still can give you lots of profit. It's less risky than trading too, and it's way less risky than gambling, so people rather choose to invest their money and get slow but safe profit instead of trying to trade and then lose their money.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: August 19, 2017, 10:21:29 AM
Easiest way to do this just ask about in in gambling discussion (here) and people will tell you, or use forum's search and enter name of that site - you should see threads about it. If you won't you can just try to write in google "Is this site leigt" And you'll see. Don't try to gamble if you aren't sure that it's not scammy site.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people invest in bitcoin? on: August 19, 2017, 09:25:09 AM

Bitcoins are already a high risk high yield investment. But Most of us here think it's a risk worth taking, with good potential rewards.I would say that now is the perfect time and last chance to buy cheap coins!

Yeah because it is actually worth to take the risk Cheesy This risk that you talk about is usually very small, for example someone bought bitcoins for 3000$ to sell them later for more, but price fell to 2000$ next day, so he can just simply keep bitcoins till they rise again instead of selling for smaller price, this makes the "risk" even smaller.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: August 18, 2017, 08:00:38 AM
I think 2 reasons for that are that they think that bitcoin is safer, and of course that they can earn more money from bitcoins by trading or just buying them while they are cheap and selling them later. Of course some think of bitcoins as of gold and just keeps their money in bitcoins.
40  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where to invest my Bitcoins? on: August 18, 2017, 07:07:11 AM
Hi,

Hope I posted in the right board and totally new to this investing bitcoins.

I got under 0.1 bitcoin lending on poloniex but rates are too low for a good return.

Where is the best place to Invest bitcoins with the best returns and lowest risk?

Thanks,

Invest them into trading. Of course you will have to work hard as you'll have to read a lot about currencies and check how their price changes, but once you'll know enough you will get a lot of profit, as trading is probably best way to earn more besides gambling, but gambling is too risky.
