22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New Video card Having problems on: March 15, 2016, 02:18:23 PM
Oke So finally I got a new videocard it's the Xfx Radeon Hd 7770 Ghost edition
And it has been a while since I mined some altcoins, I was always using the cudaminer.

But a lot has changed I see, I already downloaded like 3 different miners, and they give errors. or don't startup..
I got:
Sgminer 5.0.3
Bfg Miner 5.4.1

But I cant get them to work I made the Bat file like this:
bfgminer -o stratum+tcp://stratum1.suchpool.pw:3336 -u tubsie -p x

But it instantly closes Cmd when I open it.

Maybe someone has a good Bat Command for me I can use?

Also Is it still possible to mine ethereum with this videocard?
At the moment I am syncing Alethone to try it out but it takes a long time to sync?

use sgminer

Hi. I'm using your mod and currently getting really low hash rates.

Around 15-20 Mh/s

2x EVGA GeForce GTX 970 04G-P4-3975-KR 4GB SSC GAMING w/ACX 2.0+

Also using the P0 fix for gpu usage.
Common consensus seems to be 20 mh per 970

ethminer --cuda-devices 0 1 -G -F http://eth-us.suprnova.cc:3001/zekkuuu.1/25 -U

Any suggestions/tips greatly appreciated thanks.

Edit: can dip under 10 mh at times.

windows 10?

use windows 7

They fixed the low hash on 10 with current drivers. GoGo back to begging for money sp.

Who are they? Do do you mean Genoil or the AMD driver development engineers? Does it support more than 8 GPU?

you mean nvidia?

+1 to you sir for common sense

My cell phone can do 40mhs decred..... i could see if 500mhs or something like that but 40?

You need to donate 0.1 BTC.
I am currently testing the speed on the pool. But will be able to send it in 4-5 hours. perhaps later..

Half the other thread was useless crap. I see this problem cannot be avoided. Thanks for your contribution.

the thread itself is usless crap.

34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ALERT: Dwarfpool Controls over 43% of all Mining on: March 02, 2016, 02:16:24 AM
Please consider moving away from Dwarfpool. They now control over 43% of all hashing power! That is out of hand.

http://etherscan.io/stats/miner?range=7

If you believe in Ethereum, you must believe in the fact that decentralization is VITAL and resource centralization is no good for anyone.

ethpool has stratum proxy support if that is a potential migration drawback.

i like bacon

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Decred (DCR) Mining on: February 21, 2016, 01:48:33 AM
I'm surprised no one is interested in mining DCR on zpool...

Is anyone here mining it, but just on the couple big pools?
I need to get off my butt and give it a shot... but that means setting up a new miner app;  and adding it to my round of algorithms.
Hopefully sometime in the next few days ill have the chance to get to it.    I am personally curious on it's profitability compared to the other algos.

Yes, I myself am having problems with the actual miners so perhaps that some of the problem being a one off algo. It's got some high diff too so perhaps thats a turnoff.

Hoping a team of miners drops by to kick off the blocks and keep them rolling.

you finally set DCR up correctly? the 2 days i mined on it nothing... then i noticed you where giving out not even half the full coin credit.

you had it on 3.12 DCR if im not mistaken?
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]pledge for the release of 100% faster cuda 7.5 nvidia miner for neoscrypt on: February 19, 2016, 02:20:48 AM
Let's refresh this thread. I have spent some time on djm34's miner. Stripped it down to NeoScrypt only, modified for Visual Studio 2010 compatibility to produce valid binaries for Windows XP and up, added support for UTF-16, replaced some code with more appropriate, a few more tweaks, etc. Long story short, it runs 17% faster now.

That's a GTX 750 Ti @ 1400MHz shaders. It could do almost 240KH/s previously. Don't know how much big Maxwells like GTX 980 gain with it since I don't own any, so here we come to the point. Donate towards my purchase of a GTX 980 for the future development and I release my modded miner open source. The grand total is 1 BTC, however I may consider to let it go public if the donation volume exceeds 0.5 BTC. To make it fair, those who donate substantial amounts get miner binaries anyway.

watched your progress ... and its paying off ...

ill test with 980ti g1 cards and the extremes also ...

we have a bit to chat about mate ... i need the linux code to compile ...

great work ...

#crysx

LOL that is all.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Monitor ETH mining ? on: February 18, 2016, 06:30:27 PM
I am looking for some way to monitor my ETH miners.
Etherminer in Ubuntu does not show me either hashrate or temps on the gpu:s.

Is there any way to get this info shown in etherminer ?
Or is there some other way to monitor several rigs mining ETH.
Right now i just have the hashrate presented at the pool i am mining at.

I am a totally linux noob and i just started up my first linux miner ever yesterday.

Stupid questions irritate me god !
Ethminer is basically beta software of course there's no way to monitor hash rate
Through it just be happy you got it to mine on the pool.

To monitor the hash rate something totally custom would have to be written in Linux and node js or something to interface with geth, jeez get a clue

Looks like somebody was real nice and build a monitoring and mining proxy with a front end

https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/3503/ethereum-solo-mining-proxy-track-rigs-hashrate

Make sure to donate when you get it running dont be a leech

decred not working?

It should be working. There's been miners on and off it for a little while now

[2016-02-18 00:05:06] HTTP request failed: Protocol "stratum+tcp" not supported or disabled in libcurl
[2016-02-18 00:05:06] get_work failed, retry after 30 seconds

Does your miner actually support stratum? Other pools I think are using getwork and not stratum
ive tried sp mod and tpruvot

The miner on there now is using: ccminer/1.7.3. AFAIK tpruvot doesn't support stratum yet.... not sure about SP....

got it working. thank you sir Smiley
