But they aren't objecting to the use as currency? Only to using the word currency?
Saying that financial institutions can't handle transactions will probably more act to deter speculation then buying/selling of goods using BTC.

Lol, if I was a journalist, I'd write a made up story saying "US government bans Bitcoin. Anyone who owns Bitcoin faces up to 36 months imprisonment". Then when the value crashes by 80% I'd buy all the coins I can afford and retract the article.
Even if you lost your job over it, who cares, you'd instantly be rich.
That's the kind of thing you go to prison over though. (I believe, not legal advice) The Peoples Bank of China, China Banking Regulatory Commission and other regulators have held discussions about drafting rules for trading platforms that facilitate the buying and selling of the virtual money, two people with direct knowledge of the matter said. They were not authorized to speak because the information is not public.
This is pretty bullish I think actually

My criteria has, and always will be, where I feel the industry is going.
If I feel infrastructure is still being built, merchants are still adding it to their stores, conferences are being held in various countries, and new news is coming out (thanks Google news for keyword specific article feeds) ...
Then I will continue to hold.
When I feel the industry is stagnating, or beginning to decline, then I will cash out.
This bewilders all my friends and colleagues to no end.
Interesting strategy, I like it.

Hello !
Why your Jupiter has only 485 GH/s ? I know that Jupiter can run at 550 GH/s ! I saw plenty of movies on Youtube and many posts on the forum where about this. It is broken ??
Hi, the auction is over, see EDIT 4. The reason it is hashing at 485 is because it was an October delivery, and those were 400+ as opposed to 550+ for November deliveries.

And that's the info I'm trying to get outta this thread. Which of these Cryptos will have those nice 'little/big' moves.
I just slaughtered my hamster and read the future in it's liver. It said Colossuscoin will be the next big thing! Where can I buy these?

I think it is a bit ludicrous to compare prize per coin. It is not a fair comparison. Better is to compare price for 1/21million of future market cap, so since litecoin has 4 times as many coins, their "normalized price" would be 27*4=108, and for feathercoin with 16 times as many coins, the normalized prize would be 0.87*16=14.
EDIT: Proof of stake mining has to be treated differently though since it doesn't dilute you.
How can you predict price of single product, if you donīt know the end result (cryptocurrency market cap) or even timescale? Also no mention of inflation (six times higher in Litecoin, than in Bitcoin). Since I compare the fully diluted market caps, I take the inflation into account.

I value honesty above niceness. I hate the way modern society seems to prefer dishonest niceness.
