29  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Giving 10 XRP to the next 10 members to start a valid Ripple BTC giveaway thread on: May 24, 2013, 12:39:44 PM
Well none actually started a thread I don't think, but i sent the ripple anyway to those that I could.  About half of you don't have enough Ripple for it to allow you to receive any.

As a condolence for the downtime, feel free to post your username on the thread and we will issue some free credit.

Is it this forum's username? or the username on the site primedice.com ? I want some free credit if you don't mind, but I haven't created an account on primedice.com

We'd be looking for your account name on PrimeDice, but I'll make an exception for you if you want to send me your payout address.  Smiley

-Stunna

scalar on primedice, would like free credit also
32  Economy / Lending / Re: need a 4,200 BTC loan, 20% interest, paying back in USD on: May 24, 2013, 03:35:53 AM
If he sends me 6,000 BTC,  I will loan 4,200 back @ 20% interest rate and go ahead and keep the rest as a processing fee?

Send me 9,000 BTC  to keep, and i will agree to the above.

It would be hard just to get a million or two.
34  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com | The New Way to Roll | 1% House | Instant Betting on: May 24, 2013, 03:19:21 AM
Well I just got really lucky with coinroll.it and won 2.55 btc....personally I'm glad I won there and not here...I don't know why but this is the first "house" I actually feel bad that they've lost so much (Stunna). Truly great customer service here.

I ALWAYS lose with them. It's so weird, I lost like 0.2 BTC betting tiny amounts. To me it feels like their house edge is like 100%.

I also like PrimeDice since it feels like it has more soul and Stunna is a legend Tongue Coinrull's multiplier is also pretty boring, the one on PrimeDice is ingenious. Only thing Coinroll did better was fast rolls, but seems like Stunna sorted that out for us.

CoinRoll > SatoshiDice any day though.

Coinroll has been following more or less closely the 1% house edge. Bets do remain provably fair and the whole list of bets is public. Rolls are based on the account's last tx ID. Although when looking at individual users, some are average, some are very lucky and some are very unlucky. But for those with a very large amount of bets (thousands), it starts getting quite close to 1% edge.

I don't quite see the difference for the multiplier thing. Other than being presented differently (Under X/65,535 for CR or Over x/100 for PD)... works exactly the same way. To me PrimeDice and Coinroll are essentially clones.

Coinroll's provably fair system is better tho.

How can you see how individual users have done there?

Same! I can now afford to buy a mcdouble now for free!  Grin

Bwahahahah! The blue bucket finally fell, after a 15-round streak!

All buckets must fall ... eventually.

Woohoo!  Down with the buckets!

This one seems shady, would like to see provably fair.
37  Other / Off-topic / Re: I was offered $550 to say that "Ripple is a Scam." on: May 24, 2013, 02:24:52 AM
I saw TradeFortress posting before trying to contact people who had posts on the first page of the ripple thread.

Is he actually denying this?

I don't think he has made any significant comments, just "BULLSHIT" and that he didn't contact GoWest directly (something that was never claimed by anyone ever).

Either:

A) someone is spreading propaganda against Ripple for their own benefit; (who and why?)
B) there is a conspiracy to frame TradeFortresss (who and why?)

It's fascinating to see all the whiteknighting posts completely missing this point.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=198931.msg2070493#msg2070493

This might clear it up.

I'm not sure, I think we would see him post in this thread if he wanted to deny it.  It would be poinless if someone has a PM from him offering the money though... I think the people complaining about the accusation are trolls.
