21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many cryptocurrencies do you invest in? on: June 17, 2017, 08:02:03 AM
As of now I have 200 USD investment on different altcoins. However, I make this investment to earn income even I can't doing anything I earn income in different way. Also, during this investment I think half of this investment were already back to my account.
Wow, you have a lot of money chineseprancing, me  I have $50 investment only, I used it for trading however I just want to growth this investment to increased my capital in trading. Moreover I plan to invest in other altcoins to increase my income.
Lol I have $1400 all of my different coins holding right now and I believe it will become more than double when the right time comes.
I'm still waiting for more increase that will happen to my hold coin.

If you have the ZEC or the ETH, it shall double in 12 months.

I'm in like 20 coins but I want to chop this down as the diversification has turned into me spreading myself too thin.

Looks too me that is too much. I agree with your that you need to down. Diversification is good, but I suggest like to have 5-6 coins only. And only invest on coins that has a good developer to back it up and also look at the price and trading volume as well. I think with 20 coins, its hard to monitor every coin in your portfolio.
20 coins?are you crazy?I only hold 5 coins, and even think is too more.

20 bitcoins is a lot of money. Not many people own that amount.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many cryptocurrencies do you invest in? on: May 15, 2017, 05:47:05 AM

24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many cryptocurrencies do you invest in? on: April 28, 2017, 07:11:27 PM
75% BTC, 1-2 strong alts to hold, and no more than 4-5 alts to trade daily.
I don't like to do more than this, as you start losing control (or investing too much time).

I do the same. I only trade the XMR, ETH and ZEC.

What are the best investment opetions for bitcoins to be put into?
Please post here!
try to go to pure mining, having an high specs rig or computer is too expensive but you may take back your investment so easily. there's a lot of money in pure mining, you dont need to invest a lot to it.
Yeah the pure mining I think it's the best way to make bitcoin, but as
you say that it's expensive. We must have an high spec rig. If we are no have
more capital, we can to try trading altcoin. It's amazing way until now.
Minning is indeed a very good investment, because it will continue to produce us bitcoins up to a certain time limit. But, altcoin trading is also so promising. Basically a lot of people who get rich by utilizing altcoin trading, it is a good investment.

Mining is quite profitable. If you know how to GPU mine.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many cryptocurrencies do you invest in? on: March 31, 2017, 01:38:08 PM
I wish to invest $100 each in top 100.

And profit is guaranteed. Wink

I have invested in 5 of the top 10. I think it is quite profitable.
27  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: March 24, 2017, 04:53:26 PM
best in what way? if you're talking about risky but profitable then holding cryptocurrencies that have strong support. if you want something with minimal risk but far less return you're better off going with mutual funds.

There is actually nothing called "best" investment. Every investment carries its won risk and if you cant handle it you should steer clear of it. Trading bitcoin/fiat and altcoin are profitable according to me. Mining used to profitable at one time and not so at this point.

People in this forum also earn by using their skills and knowledge to work for others - freelancing. You can also try joining signature campaigns which are very popular, but make sure not to spam the forum but rather make proper constructive posts.

For the time being, there is more unity in the altcoins such as Ethreum or the Monero, that is the people people are buying them.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin seems to be still the best pick on: March 01, 2017, 05:01:13 PM
Let me enlighten you. Buy ETH now, before metro is released, and if you're a trader then just sell it after. You'll easily make 5$ profit per ether. However, if you go for 1year+, you can easily double what you have. Because constant development, and then it'll be close to serenity and it's huge hype.

It seems both the ETH and ZEC has reached bottom.

Today my friend told me that it is best to invest in trusted gambling sites like dice where we can earn some part of losing bets but we need to find casino which will not only take our money so I am interested in that it looks good investment for me.

There are many trusted casino bankrolls where you can invest your money and can get regular returns but make sure that you do good research before investing into and invest in those sites that are running since long time.

any recommended of casino to investment?
I think it is a good way to invest in gambling and get return for invetors.

the operator of the casino has to be reliable.

i think it good time to hold your bitcoin and it will be beneficial for you in the future if you save or hold your bitcoin because bitcoin is rising its price more nowadays and people adopting bitcoin in huge amount and then hold it for high price and i think it is good investment and you can get a good profit from bitcoin in the future.

The bitcoin price will rise in the future, so it is better to hold it.

Yes indeed, hire a professional than having partners.

In a bear market, even the professionals will lose money.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Poll: Zcash. Buyer's Remorse. (Perhaps I should not have got 2 rigs) lol :) on: December 05, 2016, 09:53:39 AM
As far as the OP, I didnt build rigs for zcash. I did, however, build a little farm for Ether (a bit later into the hype than I should have but so be it). I mined Ether for awhile and then switched to zcash on day 1 and have been mostly there ever since. I do keep up with price and such and will switch back once the profitability dies. SOme pictures and specs here: http://forum.feathercoin.com/topic/8678/new-farm-setup/

If you build a rig for Ethereum, then it will be useless for Ethereum within a year as it will be PoS by that time.

the hashrate and money will likely move to somethign else, like etheruem classic or zclassic or whatever any new thign will come out

the profit in those coins can not simply disappear it will re-arrange itself to a new beginning

i still remember when many were saying some months ago that after ethereum the mining scene would have been dead, look now you have other good options...

Bingo.

Two of the rigs I have were built originally to mine LTC back in 2013 or so? They ROI'd and then were switched to Feathercoin and then to a multipool for awhile. At some point GPU mining dried up and I turned them off for about a year. I eventually powered them back up mining feathercoin again and then Ether and now Zcash.

Its not as simple as mining BTC on an ASIC, set it and forget it, but if you dedicate time and effort into it then GPU mining can be profitable from time to time. Not everyone has the time to invest though.

I think the cards you bought in 2013, such as the AMD 7950 or 7970 are still making you money on the ZCash.

You need to look at miners reward.

For ETH its ~$300,000 daily.

For ZEC currently its ~$400,000 daily.

So if this price and reward ratio hold, we will be making double the profits pre-ZCASH.

But the price ZEC/BTC definately will keep going down. Not only this month but for the entire year while the supply keeps increasing.

I reckon the ZCash price will be about 10 to 20% of the current price, that is due to the increased supply.
36  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-10-12] Japan Will End Bitcoin Sales Tax by Spring 2017 on: October 12, 2016, 04:43:47 PM
"
Regulation of Bitcoin varies greatly from country to country. Although Japan is very open to cryptocurrency in general, there is one big hurdle to mainstream adoption. Users who live in the region and purchase bitcoin will pay sales tax on every transaction. For buyers, this brings an additional cost to the table, which puts off some potential exchange customers.
To put this into perspective, a Japanese cryptocurrency enthusiast purchasing bitcoin will pay 8 percent in sales tax. Keeping in mind how this percentile is based on the transaction amount, the numbers could add up quickly. Moreover, this is not the only fee charged for such a transaction, as they may be bank fees, exchange platform commission, and maker-taker fees to take into consideration.

But the situation will be coming to a change, according to the latest news. Nikkei reports how there is a plan on the table to end sales-tax collection on Bitcoin purchases. This move is expected to be formalized in the Spring of 2017, albeit no specific date has been set yet. Assuming this decision will be made official by that time, such a change would propel Bitcoin adoption to unprecedented heights in Japan.
This news is also positive for any entrepreneur or organizations operating a cryptocurrency exchange. They would no longer be required to keep thorough administration for every purchase subject to sales tax. However, it is still a bit early to grasp the full concept of what this change might entail, as a formal decision is expected by the end of 2016.
It is quite interesting to see Japan take such major strides towards positive Bitcoin regulation. In May of this year, the government officially deemed Bitcoin to be a legitimate currency. Companies such as Coincheck have been working on letting users pay their utility bill with Bitcoin, adding real-life use cases for the popular cryptocurrency.
With roughly 2,500 stores in Japan accepting bitcoin as a valid payment method, there is a strong uptake in cryptocurrency payments already. Compared to the same period in 2015, that number has more than quadrupled. Furthermore, Bitwala plans to enter the Japanese banking market and compete with incumbents, planning an integration of the Yen into their services. When the sales tax is removed from bitcoin purchases, that number may continue to increase exponentially over the coming years.
Japan is leading the charge when it comes to regulating Bitcoin. Rather than trying to make existing laws apply to cryptocurrency, government officials have taken their time to review everything properly. As a result, they are now creating a financial ecosystem where bitcoin is legally accepted and can thrive over the years to come."

if you really want to make a good profit, you do not need to invest your money any where, you just need to buy bitcoin and then simply to hold it for the price increase and i am hopeful that you will really get a good profit if you invest that money.
yeah its very good idea that buy some bitcoin and then hold it for long term as investment and i also sure that price will be increase sooner and i hope that price will be increase sooner and it very profitable if we hold our bitcoin for long term.

The bitcoin price is quite stable at the moment. It is consolidating . The price could rise before year end.
38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: September 18, 2016, 06:19:28 PM
Best investment is knowledge. And i'm pretty sure it leads you to diversification of funds. Joining prospective ICOs, trading altcoins, and investing into reliable sites.

Knowledge and research can give you a good return on your investment. Spreading your risks on multiple assets is key btw.
Because only then you will be able to make sure your money is safer then when you stick to 1 asset.

I think it is better to buy several good altcoins such as the Monero, Etheruem or litecoin, that will spread the risk.
39  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: September 03, 2016, 05:08:59 PM
Trading altcoins works for me. But you need to have a plan. Stick to a small number of coins and learn their tendencies.
I also prefer to stick with lower value coins atm.

That is right. I only stick to coins with good development team and community. Examples are Dash, Monero or Ethereum.

I think the fastest way to earn money is investment in altcoins, so I will suggest you to invest in altcoins, it is the best investment nowadays, with which you will be millionaire within a month.
I agree with you . investment in altcoin much more profitable. altcoin price movement is very fast. altcoin moves up and down every day. we can benefit from altcoin price volatility in the market.

But because of these high price volatility, many new traders will be trapped and end up buying at higher side and wait for a long time to recover the losses or most of the times end up selling at loss. The most important thing in trading is when to enter a market and when to exit, it is not so easy for normal traders to do. So always start with small amount until understand the market fully.

Yeah, you are right, new traders do not know the logic of ups and downs of coins and about their history and they just invest in there and in the result they wait for months and do not see the coin to rise again, so before involving in altcoins one much have good knowledge about altcoins and mush have to expert trader.
Another important note for people that are looking to invest in altcoins, is that you must accept the fact that your investment in altcoins can go down a lot in a very short time.

If that's a risk you are aware of, and willing to take, then you can go ahead and try your luck in the altcoin market.

Yeah I had also great experience in trading my bitcoin to altcoin. I'm not a pro trader but as of now I'm maki g a profit from it. Its just a simple rules buy low sell high and if not good then hold.

In the last few days, the NXT, Monero and some other coins rose quite a lot. The trading volume of ETC and ETH is still high.
