21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: February 12, 2016, 12:11:17 PM
IMHO, with the existence of bitcoin people have started to say that banks are useless, I don't agree as banks are also important for individual and businesses, as businesses are totally dependent on the banking system and they will need support from banks for sure, for an individual I believe bitcoin is a better option comparing to all this stuff.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump On Bitcoin? on: February 10, 2016, 06:41:12 PM
So with his New Hampshire win, The Donald has solidified his place as the front runner for the Republican nomination for president. Has he ever stated any of his thoughts/ideas/position on Bitcoin ever? I've not been able to find anything on the google.

He is anti-establishment and has very strong ideas on border control, illegal immigration, repealing obamacare and fighting ISIS/terrorism and creating jobs/growing the economy.

Anyone have any ideas on what his stance on bitcoin might be?

Wow didn't know Trump would do those, but I guess you don't know that in the Obama regime, unemployment rate is at 4.9% one of the lowest in the USA, medium wager per hour is 34.2 USD and medium monthly payment 5000 USD and a bit. Get out of the way Republicans, no one has worked better than Obama in the economy and I base my opinion on facts like the ones stated. Stop promoting an idiot like Trump , oh yeah I hate him since his stupid TV shows, where he says You are Fired. Trump you are fired now, I have always wanted to say it and this forum is my possibility to do so.

Nice post, I also think he's an idiot and would jeopardize everything Obama has managed to do for the economy. I don't see a guy like him admitting bitcoin, ever.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An excessive fee is an our future? on: February 10, 2016, 06:39:09 PM
I don't think so, no. There will be a solution to the increase in the fees, or the use of bitcoin will decrease (and hence the fees). It's self regulated, after all.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Binary Options - Beware of Scams... on: February 04, 2016, 12:15:21 PM
most of the binary options are scam better to avoid this type of sites.

I would say ALL of them are. I don't know why people still fall from this scams, since there are plenty of warnings here and everywhere.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshis left on exchanges on: February 04, 2016, 12:14:19 PM
There's so many important things to worry about, to wast time discussing lost satoshis... this discussion will only make any sense once satoshis are worth a few cents of dollars

26  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Strongcoin - BIG Problems on: February 04, 2016, 12:13:20 PM
This was posted long time ago, and since then I have used the service with more money stored as I have at the current time and never had issues. It's really fishy and strange, if it will not be sorted till later tonight I will make posts everywhere so people know.

have you tried contacting their specific community, some kind of forum of any kind? This is really very strange, beware!
27  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: February 03, 2016, 11:00:18 AM
Well, it is certainly a good way to pay for porn. I know quite a few people that use it to pay for porn.   Tongue Roll Eyes
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone explain how any institution can use "blockchain technology" on: February 03, 2016, 10:59:25 AM
If that record really is stored on the Bitcoin blockchain, I hope they will get stripped out into a sidechain or an alternative blockchain. The chain is already pushing its limits, and the last thing that it needs is a load of text cluttering it up. Bitcoin is a currency, not a public records office.

The creation of an alternative, private blockchain (or a multitude of it) would be a perfect solution for it, since it would then not disturb bitcoin's own blockchain.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is unsustainable, according to Vice on: February 01, 2016, 10:59:01 PM
Even being a negative feedback is good to keep bitcoin alive, soo being good or bad feedbacks wont affect in any way the bitcoin ,just need to keep being talking about it,its wizzard bitcoin is soo related to the ilegal that it is growing and well time will teacth who didnt enter early to think twice about inovation.

I don't think you need to worry about bad advertising. Bitcoin won't be affected just because some reporter tried to stir the waves a bit with his article.

This specific article doesn't even add up! It's all a bunch of nonsensical comparations.

31  Local / Criptomoedas Alternativas / Re: Crypto-moedas baseadas em armazenamento on: February 01, 2016, 10:27:08 PM
Não é só para registro, mas uma forma para ofertar serviços e estimular o uso da moeda

Não entendi, esses serviços não podem existir no blockchain do bitcoin, que é muito mais aceito e estável??
32  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Cotação do BTC em célula do Excel on: February 01, 2016, 10:26:05 PM
Também tava precisando de uma solução como essa pra monitorar meus investimentos aqui! Como vocês fazem pra acompanhar as cotações? Entram manualmente nas exchanges??
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The real disastor that could happen (forking Bitcoin)... on: February 01, 2016, 10:25:00 PM
So if the chain does fork, how will we know it has happened, and how will we know who has "won".

You won't. Because you don't need to. That's the beauty of Bitcoin Smiley

But what about the prediction of exchanges stopping trades? That would affect every user, since price would take a serious impact, no?
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a very knowledgable Bitcoin/Altcoin Speaker(s) on: February 01, 2016, 10:22:28 PM
I am volunteering at few trade shows involving technology in August & November/December of this year.  One of these trade shows will be in Pennsylvania and another will be in Ohio.  I am looking for someone who is interested in coming out to speak to the public about what Bitcoin/Altcoins are and how they work.  If you would be interested, please post here or message me.  I am looking for only those who are serious and know what they are talking about.  Message me if you have any other questions.

Aren't there specific dates?

Also, will you pay for expenses + a comission? Or is it volunteer? thanks

37  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: January 31, 2016, 05:19:17 PM
I want to buy a house. a place to stay for me and my family. I want to live happily together. The most convenient place.
Cool story, bro. No offense.
Seriously, it is possible but you will need to have more than 1 BTC. (obviously Roll Eyes)

In Brazil there is a company selling apartments for BTC (up to ~50 BTC per transaction).

Imagine how well can they hide this from the authorities  Roll Eyes
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Estranged Core Developer Gavin Andresen Finally Makes Sensible 2MB BIP Proposal! on: January 31, 2016, 03:23:39 PM
I love the way your only reaction is to name call instead of making intelligent points.

Then why don't you make one?

You just make false accusations and pretend that they are intelligent points - who do you think you are fooling?

It is pretty clear to me that you are simply being paid for this - so what I am going to do with you (like all the others) is just wear you down until you give up or your masters decide that your posts are not worth paying for.

You must have missed the memo. These companies direct core now, if you can't understand that, there's nothing I can do to help.

uow, that's pretty serious. Is that all FUD or should we be concerned bitcoin has been co-opted by corporate interests?
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you seen this one? on: January 31, 2016, 03:18:32 PM

but 200 views a little disappointing..
Yep, 'coz many people're unaware(lack knowledge) about bitcoin.

very very interesting just after watching the first few 5 minutes.
Yep, same.
what is this all about?
-> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iy1gysYgg9o&fulldescription=1

There's still a long path to be walked towars public awareness of bitcoin and it's full potential. Such a low view count is disappointing, but also an opportunity for us to think about how to spread the word!
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is unsustainable, according to Vice on: January 31, 2016, 02:52:06 PM
mostly FUD.

Bitcoin network is the most (and big) transparent thing in the world ... and the bankster system ? The right opposit ... it lies in every part of his number, it's black order book and DEBT against citizen.

I prefer an open network.
Bankster network is not open AT ALL !

Agree completely. And this article totally ignores the "bank system energy consumption". I mean, it spends a lot of energy, but COMPARED TO WHAT? Such a tendentious article...

BTW, they quoted bitcointalk on the article, so they're probably reading this right now.

So, better articles next time, Vice reporters!
