21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter/Youtube Bitcoin Scams on: August 13, 2020, 02:11:44 PM
As a community, we need to teach the people not the scammers because they are everywhere, so people need to grow up and realize that making money is not such easy like spending and getting in double in few minutes.Legit wat of making take years and also the return will be very low compared to these bitcoin doubler scams. If you see any of those scam posts then don't forget to report it as a scam.
Everyday when I am watching on youtube or checking my twitter account I am seeing ads about crypto or bitcoin promoting their campaigns then once, I tried to join but when I register after an hour I have notice that it seems like someone is using my social media accounts and I didn't notice that the app on the ad I clicked was a phishing app. Luckily all of my social media accounts are secured and not easily to hack.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Covid crisis & evolving phases on: August 13, 2020, 12:31:43 PM
As the covid crisis is evolving step-by-step, started as a health crisis it is bending towards economic crisis which is showing an elevation from physical to digital.
Does Coronavirus pandemic will permanently change consumer behaviour towards digital currency?  Huh
change is not big, but the increase in digital currency will definitely happen because people prefer to use digital for health purposes during Covid 19 or in the future when Covid is over. so I think this moment has a positive effect on people to get used to using digital currency
Somehow the covid 19 pandemic has a good effect on each in everyone lives if they are a crypto user because they can still earn money through trading and they can also have their money through digital but for the non users there is no positive effect coz they don't have the chance to gain a benefit from this.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A site for projects related to crypto. on: August 13, 2020, 10:30:36 AM
many site already do that like they will only post legit crypto projects  and its hard to compete for them  . i tried them once but i got tired and im still here in the forum . its the same , i will also see the projects that will be listed on other sites here .

there also threads here that categorize the projects that they think worthy or not but ill suggest that mods and admins make those threads sticky due to thier importance .
Making a new website for crypto related, topics, threads and campaigns are really difficult because I believe that you should be focused on your website and it needs to be checked from time to time that's why it is indeed challenging and hectic when it comes to your schedule. If you are thinking of making a website make sure that you can handle it seriously because if you don't there are no people will be encouraged to join.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facial Recognition Can Help to Come Out from Bitcoin Social Media Scams on: August 13, 2020, 07:46:29 AM
Facial recognition can help forestall future Bitcoin (BTC) tricks like those that hit Twitter and YouTube, said Rod Hsu, president, and fellow benefactor of the virtual cash stage Coincurve.

https://www.currencytimes.co.in/facial-recognition-can-help-from-bitcoin/
Facial recognition secuirty is more easier to break than the biometric like finger print sensor unlock and giving your facial recognition for social media security is utter most stupidity because in future if we use our face more more valuable things like unlocking lockers and vaults, what if someone got these data and manipulate the results and can steal your money so easily.
Hmmm for me facial recognition is much safer rather than passcodes or passwords because in facial recognition you have to do what the instructions tells you like for example in some app here in my country we are using passcodes then facial recognition at the same time and it's for the system to see your face, there are instructions that you should do like for example if the instruction says, you should smile and blink your eye or move your eye brows to ensure that you are the one owner of the account and not just an imposter or a picture of yours.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter Hackers Arrested! [Updated] on: August 13, 2020, 05:43:47 AM
I dont believe that this hackers are clever enough or just used phishing links to steal staff account and managed to collect email and password of those twitter profiles, did they actually penetrate the security system of twitter? or just a fault of a staff? If they are good enough in hacking then try to secure first not to locate their identity before doing any stupid acts.

They may not be the smartest hackers. However, they turned out to be smarter than the twitter team once they managed to get around them and gain access to god mode.
You should never underestimate your opponent, in this case hackers. Their skill and skill deserve respect anyway, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't go to jail for their actions.
It saddens me to hear some news about this hacked account on twitter. In this time of pandemic a lot of bad guys are everywhere and I don't know what benefits they could get on hacking this twitter account. And what saddens me the most is the hacker, he is younger than me and it seems like his parents didn't taught him how to do good deeds.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia legalizing Bitcoin and cryptos but not allowed as payment method? on: August 12, 2020, 03:00:37 PM
they will inevitably allow crypto as payment when most of the world does so.  They can only hold out so long.
And maybe they aren't still allowed bitcoin as a mode of payment because the population of the those people who uses bitcoin are lesser than those who do not know bitcoin itself or how does it works. And we all know that the bitcoin are still a lot of features to improve and there are still advantages that the fiat can do but the bitcoin can't do.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do hackers steal huge amounts of bitcoins? on: August 12, 2020, 01:02:55 PM
I think it's for the reason of long term, if you take a look at most of the huge bitcoin hacks, in the past few years, majority of the bitcoin are still seating in the wallet, and I don't think that it's easy to track down those hackers, recently bitfinex offers $400m reward for any one who can provide info to the hacker who stole 11k units of bitcoin in 2016, if it was that easy to track down I think they would have done that all this while
The scammers steal a real and great amount of money because they want to keep a big amount of money for the long run in terms of stealing these coins from others. And those scammers are too lazy enough because they only want the easiest way to earn money instead of working hard to gain money. It saddens me to hear that during this time of pandemic there are still scammers who has no mercy.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a Fake Bitcoin? on: August 12, 2020, 09:29:58 AM
In the real world, we used fiat or physical money in our daily spending. And this physical notes can be use in fraudulence or a so-called Fake Money.
How about in Cryptoworld, is there also a Fake Bitcoin? If there's any, how do we know?

Same question!
I am also wondering about if there is a fake bitcoin. 🤔 Coz I never heard any news about it. Well there is, I hope that these coins are easy to spot if it is fake or not for the scammers not to be able to use these coins frequently because those who will be involved in their scams are so damn pitiful.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos Scared of Lawsuits on: August 12, 2020, 09:00:02 AM
They have to protect themselves and their business. Can't blame them and we can say that they shouldn't been open instead of asking the law makers to create a law that will protect them.

Being them as business owners, if you're making big bucks, you'll do everything just to keep your operations continue. And on their end, they want to clean themselves if ever there will be infection that happens on their business premises.
Yes that's correct they have enough money, we all know that casinos earn a lot from its player, they have so many ways to provide for their business and employees and also they are paying high taxes, also they can buy many protective materials so the virus cannot be contaminated in the area nor affects many people in that casino. Also why they afraid of lawsuits if they  have the approval of the govt?
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need bitcoin? on: August 12, 2020, 07:12:33 AM
I only see from the advancement of bitcoin technology that can be needed by every human being because in today's digital era everyone needs something practical, namely in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, bitcoin has a requirement to become a digital currency that can be used by every human being. running. every transaction without being restricted by this less profitable government,
with all the conveniences we get from bitcoin it's not wrong in my opinion we need Bitcoin,

Practical in terms of the current situation, but looking way to its characteristics, it isn't really practical to use bitcoin for daily transactions. Perhaps, for trading and investment, it is good because of its noticeable high volatility. What I hope for in the future is for the price to spike high and remain stable. Therefore it could be available for anyone to use to transact for product or services they want.

With regards to government regulation, the development of bitcoin from other country who already accepts it (for me,) will be the reason why other country should accept bitcoin as well. It is now the new revolution of currency for international payments and it opens up tons of opportunity as well especially when reducing payment rates for international transactions.
Even if there are a lot of disadvantages that the crypto currency has and there are a lot of advantages that the fiat can do rather than the crypto currency, there are still advantages that the crypto currency can do and it can also help the economical status and money related services of each and every country if and only if it will be impose someday. For example it can can help money related transactions to become easier and convenient.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Ways to Hack Bitcoin on: August 12, 2020, 04:16:39 AM
There are currently so many ways to steal Bitcoin, definitely more than 3. There are also many ways to hack Bitcoin wallets.

But to hack Bitcoin itself, there is only one way. And that is to take over at least 51% of the network's mining hash power. Indeed, that is very costly and therefore extremely unlikely to happen, next to impossible as a matter of fact. And the potential loot may not be large as daydreamed.

And, again, it certainly provides the attackers more incentive to use the hash rate in favor of the network than to bring it down.
It is good that there is a thread here for hacking bitcoin or the wallet itself. It can help our fellow miners and traders to be aware and protect their savings that's why it is indeed a good thing that the poster posts this kind of topic. And even if I know how to hack a particular wallet or the bitcoin itself, I won't do that because If I want to earn coins, I will do that with hardwork and determination to earn by means of trading and not by stealing someone's coins because karma is real.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which website do you usually go to get your news and casino reviews? on: August 11, 2020, 07:08:31 PM
Well I am having only one site for online casino to which I am also preferred to play gambling activities. For me there is no better than the online gambling casino that I had been playing but I am still open for other online gambling casino if found out that it could their platform were also good. For now, I only gamble in an establish good online gambling casino platform so as to avoid those good for nothing online casino platform that has so bad reputations that could be seen in the reputation section. You can check there for so many gambling platform that has bad reputation especially in handling complains to the users.

oh interesting , but may i know if what casino is that ? you dont need to be shy and hide the name of the casino that you like but its okay to hide the names of the casino that you dislike .

the topic is also for casino news and reviews and not directly for the casinos that users have been using  . i noticed that few gambling sites have thier community or forum  . if we play on the casino with forum , we can also read latest news , reviews, etc .. directly on them
Maybe the reason why he or she doesn't want to disclose the names of the casinos which he or she likes is because he or she is afraid about what others may said and also it is good to hide the names of those casino because it is confidential whatever bad reviews may be given to them by their customers may affect their reputation most especially the reputation of the owner of that particular casino.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why most people think Bitcoin is a scam? on: August 11, 2020, 05:34:40 PM
Those who think that Bitcoin is a scam is because they have lost money on the ATH.
People who throw mud on BTC do not really believe the technology behind the ecosystem, they just came for fast profits. Unfortunately, they didn't get their profits and now they try to make people think that it is scam.
Throwing in a lot of money while on ATH is a big mistake that is very costly if they still hold it for now. Indeed, most people who invest only to benefit a lot from bitcoin price movements. Those beginners do not know what risks will occur. When they didn't make any profits they started saying bitcoin was a scam and such. thus making other newbies or people who don't know about bitcoin have negative thoughts about the bitcoin scam.
Humans are not that easily to persuade when it comes to investments because it is they are afraid that their money will be in vain if they take the risk with no assurance of gaining that's why when they heard about bitcoin or any bitcoin related topics they what comes to their mind first is it is a scam but they will believe only once they tried and see it for themselves.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 11, 2020, 02:19:24 PM
I guess in Gambling, experience would be the most useful thing to use. Reading gambling in books or hearing it from others story can be helpful to get a vibe on what to do around gambling and betting BUT experience will be the best teacher when you are doing it by yourself. It also is important to be open-minded at all times since there are many opportunities that is presented when you are betting and you can study them slowly while you are doing it.

That is knowledge.

The knowledge you've accumulated from gambling or as you go is your experience. That really makes us a good bettor but there is also another thing, Discipline. There is management, experience, skills but I think discipline will really define you as a good bettor and I also think Discipline is just one of those objects to complete the set of being a good bettor.
What you have said is correct mate. For me, you are good at betting when you know how to evaluate, measure things and also when you know how to observe. For example in sports betting, you shouldn't be biased when choosing which side you will bet for because not all the time your chosen team will win.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal to Offer Crypto Trading on: August 09, 2020, 03:22:22 PM
By considering the demand of present and future, Paypal may have taken decision to support crypto trade into a new brokerage but still the result not came to light.
This must have been the mind changer for the paypal of having cryptocurrency, I'm not really surprised by this actually since I already saw them having a partnership with the coinbase for withdrawal an deposit I kinda thought of this before so people can just withdraw their bitcoins from coinbase to paypal, and paypal is not far to do that, guess what they are coming for it now. "But still the result not came to light" maybe because there is nothing special to it, we got a lot of platform not just only paypal. What's special in an online wallet to support cryptocurrencies? actually none.

If Paypal will introduce such crypto service, it will be a great news for the crypto lovers. But they need to change their terms of service as it is forbidden in their Terms of Service.
Yeah especially with our traders in coinbase coz they can literally withdraw and deposit using paypal in bitcoins. This might attract some new crypto users who find curiosity with bitcoin, this will be fascinating given that digital payment processors these days is getting bigger.
I really love the news about the team up of paypal and crypto because it is indeed a real great opportunity for the crypto community to encourage a lot of people to join crypto trading and crypto world. We all know that paypal is  a well known company around the globe and if they will introduce crypto currency around the globe, more people will likely to join here in crypto world.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Late Show with Stephen Colbert calls bitcoin a scam on: August 09, 2020, 01:50:21 PM
I really like such sayings, when someone says that bitcoin is a scam or that this is the most ordinary bubble, and then after a while he looks in amazement as bitcoin grows and continues to repeat that it is a scam, realizing that he missed an excellent opportunity. The reasons, as always, lie in ignorance.

Most individuals that call bitcoin a scam has less to no knowledge about the true nature of bitcoin or crypto. Because even if he just needs one hit in google, he's lazy to do it considering that he is a well-known media personality. Of course, crypto users like us know better about such accusation because it stemmed from ignorance. I am betting once he educated himself about crypto, he will change his viewpoint on crypto and eat his words.

Everything is correct. It is only worth adding that many media personalities, including those in the field of trading on classical markets or investing, deliberately call Bitcoin a scam, even when they have a good idea of what it is. Most often, their "adherents" do not really understand what bitcoin is and how it works, repeat their words like robots. Why go to Google and understand the nuances if there is a guy who knows it better than you. How typical.
People think that trading bitcoin and etc is a scam because they don't have any experience regarding to this and also they don't know how it works or how are we able to earn here in crypto world. Being judgmental is human nature admit it or not before we enter the crypto world we also have doubts and ifs but when we experience to earn here that is the time we realize that trading here in crypto world is not a scam.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment plan on: August 09, 2020, 11:09:33 AM
just a suggestion, of the four porfolios that you currently have it seems that only BTC and ETH are worthy of your investment. Forget BCH, and if you have the skills to trade, ripple is a choice for short / day trading. the most you have to be aware of in investing is the risk of loss, so do everything carefully.
Before we invest into something we should take the precautionary measures in order for us to avoid scams because now a days scammers are everywhere most especially in this time of pandemic, they are taking this moment as an opportunity to take advantage to others so before you invest you should check the legitimacy of a campaign or business.
38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice on becoming a successful trader on: August 05, 2020, 04:57:07 PM
There is no instant way to be a successful trader. I began trading and losing so much money, for me you if you are losing money due to trading it will become an experienced, and you need to learn from it and not do the wrong thing on it. You need to learn to take a risk and it is not always losing of course, lose some win some. When you fail you are one step away from the success.
39  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ProBit exchange and their poor support system. on: August 05, 2020, 04:54:58 AM
I have to use so many exchanges because I am a bounty hunter and I hold some coin.Recently I am using probit exchange. So far my experience is good but 4-5 days I have a problem after deposit.I have deposited 1.16 BNB from Mxc exchange to Probit exchange. But mistakenly I didn't use memo while depositng BNB.So its natural that my deposit has not come.So at first I didn't know I didnot use  memo so I have mailed mxc exchange first and they send me transaction id and told me to ask probit exchange. And they gave me eply within 20 minutes. And I have contacted probit like 4-5 days ago.But they didn't give me any responses.Bot replied and told me they will contact me.So far they didn't contact me.

So I am very disappointed with Probit support. So do anyone know how many days require to answer by probit support.I think its not very good for exchange that don't have a live chat support and don't reply messages for 5 days.

And last will probit give me my BNB back or it will lost forever??
I think if probit does not give you any response, try to contact to their social media like facebook , twitter and also in telegram. We all know that every exchange now has their official telegram channel. Search for the admin and tag him in the group. They will respond to you I'm sure of that. But yes, exchanges took very long before responding and fixing you queries.
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Question re buying and fees on: August 05, 2020, 12:06:42 AM
Today I transferred £500 to my coinbase account and bought £500 of xrp . Immediately After I had bought it it showed the value as £487. Surely the fees for buying are not £13?
You should take not that there is some fees you will need to pay, also maybe when you deposit the amount that is the price, but when you received your fund, the market maybe change its price that's why you get it in different price. There is a different price in buying and selling.
