Every time Elon Musk talks positively about Dogecoin on Twitter, price per coin goes all the way to the moon. The contrary happens if he talks negatively about it. Most recently, Elon Musk criticized Bitcoin's high energy consumption stating that it's harmful to the environment. This caused Bitcoin's price to plunge all the way to $42k in an instant. It's up to this point, where Bitcoin hasn't recovered back to the $57k - $58k range. It looks like people make decisions based on someone else's opinion instead of doing their own research about it. Most people follow Elon Musk closely, so anything he says (good or bad) can directly affect the whole crypto market in general. I believe Elon Musk's true intentions is to manipulate the market for his own financial benefit. Who knows if he bought more Bitcoin after prices went down because of his tweet? What are your thoughts? Do you think Elon Musk is manipulating the crypto market? If not, why? Will crypto carry on as usual without Mr. Musk in play? Or is it too late? Frankly, I do not believe Musk will take this step. Yes, he has accepted bitcoin as a payment, also does not exchange to fiat. But is doge a BTC? If he accepts a coin which can change %50 in 1 day as a payment, he has to pay the rest of the car price from his own pocket. Hey all,
We all see that the BTC price is sideway from 50k to 58k for few months now and it seem can't break up the 60k barrier. My portfolio is about 90% in BTC and I feel very depressed to see other altcoins prices are increasing very high in the last few months while the BTC price is stuck at the 5xk ranges. It is said that now most traders and retail investors are only interested in buying/trading altcoins, especially meme, animal coins because they can make much more profits comparing to buying BTC. Some of my friends have x10, x20 their portfolio just 3 months after entered the crypto market. I joined the crypto market since 2016 but can't make as much money as they do for just few months.
They tell me to swap my BTC to other altcoins and hold them for much better profits. I'm still struggling to make my decision to sell my BTC for altcoins (I prefer ETH, ADA, SOL, ETC).
Do you think I should do that?

Not a good time to switch to altcoins. As you said, most of them have already fold their value a few times, and I do not think after that folding will be so easy. That is why do as follows, invest 10% of your BTC to certain altcoins that can make you money. That way, if there is an increase, you will be able to evaluate it, if not, you will not be upset because the amount is not large. |

Some reasons for more dogecoin bull

The coin that increases 500% in the last 24 hours is most likely not a successful one as you think. Have you heard about pump-dump coins? shiba may be considered as one of them. Listing on Binance does not add any different feature to shiba, it is the same project today as it was until now. So, look for projects that will make a more solid profit, or such projects will bankrupt you. |

ETH did all the work years ago, and BNB/BSC just copies what it did, just fee is less. So, what do we do with BSC when ETH develops itself(fee)? BSC has been "successful" because of Binance. I can't find it on any exchange. Coingecko says it's available on eToro and Crypto.com but when you go to buy it, it's greyed out.
I guess you did not pay attention that first ones were advertisements when you clicked on the markets in coingecko. Yellowish colored ones are sponsored exchanges, check those below it. I really like Dogecoin but honestly, it is extremely overpriced right now because we should not forget a fact:
Dogecoin needs to solve a big problem: it is uncapped currently. Dogecoin has no capped supply like Bitcoin, it has infititive supply!
Why doge? What kind of feature is it has to be loved? Being decentralized(which was trivialized by Musk)? Love LTC instead. LTC is also decentralized, limited supply, as well as less fee for transactions. If DOGE solves infinite supply problem, Dogecoin can reach very high prices, but right now, Dogecoin is way overpriced because it has no cap!
Lately more loved and more valued. If doge had a limited supply, it should not be more than $0.2, if we calculated with today's market situation. |
