21  Economy / Economics / Re: A government can create a cryptocurrency ? on: April 28, 2018, 11:03:54 PM
The government can't even keep its accounting in day - which is just a simple thing every family in the world are able to -  how the hell will they create a cryptocurrency or whatever tech stuff?

Never trust the bureaucrats, if they create anything just know it will be a worthless shit, like the "El petro, crypto of Venezuela"
22  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Filmes, Documentários e Séries sobre Criptomoedas on: April 28, 2018, 10:59:01 PM
Acho que vale citar o documentário "Deep Web", que aborda a prisão perpetua do libertário Ross Ulbricht e toda história do Silk Road.

Tem no netflix legendado em português.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Strategy: holding but trading on: April 26, 2018, 11:39:36 PM
This strategy is shit. You are going to loose great pumps by selling "when seeying a profit target" and will hodl in bearish markets because you cannot sell.

IMO, crypto chart are almost useless - try fundamentals, make good positions and enjoy the ride. I never saw any trader becoming millionare, can't say the same for hodlers and early adeptors of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Decred, Litecoin, or even Ripple.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All my money in 1 altcoin - Too risky? on: April 24, 2018, 05:25:53 PM
If you have just few bucks to invest like you said, I would recommend stay all-in one good and strong project. Split your money into 4-6 projects is a bad idea as you will loose significant part of your little capital in fees among exchanges, transfers and wallets.

Increase your capital in monthly basis by the money you save from your work, when the cake is big then split in order to avoid too much risk.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are Alts About to Crash? on: April 24, 2018, 12:43:06 AM
Yeah, for me the whole market of shitcoins are about to crash, I cannot say exactly when but I do can say there is no market for such number of senseless projects.

Exception will be only exception, I mean, we will have likely 10 succeed coins, few tokens and that's it.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how do you choose Altcoin .. ?? on: April 23, 2018, 12:13:12 PM
I pickup altcoins by filtering with some criterias:

- Low market cap
- Real applications
- No ICO / pre-mine

After that you will you have a long-list and them you will have to apply some qualitative criterias such dev team, commits in github, community, among others in order to finish with 2-4 projects in hand than watch close, buy and hodl.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wish I never bought altcoins on: April 23, 2018, 12:07:51 PM
A majority of my profits with cryptocurrency came from altcoins, but I also lost money too buying the wrong time - I remember buying Stratis and Rads, for example, and never seeing a profit.

Altcoins is far more risky and dangerous than bitcoin, which the "buy & hodl" works well. Altcoins you might  hodl a worthless coin forever.
28  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: merit não é justo on: April 20, 2018, 03:54:20 PM

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do crypto currency accepted in your country? on: April 20, 2018, 02:26:38 AM
I'm from Brazil - Bitcoin is kinda famous here, i.e. many people at least know what is about ("digital currency"), but people for really use or used is quite small (~1,4 million).

I think we have a long road to improve in order to obtan mass adoption - current most of brazilian which use crypto is for trading and speculation.
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: April 20, 2018, 02:23:14 AM
I like the classic way to take notes of (in particular) inflows I have in daily basis, then I can analyze in details and see where I can cut and where I can't, so I can have a pretty good estimative of what needs to be my minimal income.

I recognize this is a bit hardworking in the beginninf but worked really well for me.
31  Economy / Economics / Re: World debt hits new record: good for BTC on: April 20, 2018, 02:19:56 AM
Yes, I do think it is good for bitcoin (and metals like gold and silver).

Any libertarian and/or enthusiast of austrian economics should agree with that. Government keep printing money to sustain such artificial levels, destroying the purchasing power of Dollar and other currencies (mainly EUR)  and when you look at what really matters, like producitivy, we are nothing seeing any progress within years.

Bitcoin fits really well against such manipulation and as hedge of government-shit.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Under $1 on: April 20, 2018, 02:03:33 AM
I would advise you to first pay attention to the capitalization of the coin. If it is not high, you can already look at the price of the coin and draw conclusions.

That's exactly what I was going to say when I opened the topic.

Price itself doesn't mean anything. Low market cap is an interest stuff. Low market cap combined with low price and low supply then you have your hidden gem.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All my money in 1 altcoin - Too risky? on: April 20, 2018, 01:47:41 AM
During a period last year I was almost all-in in Decred (DCR) prior to the lightning network implementation. I don't regreat, but yes, it is too risky.

I remember Bitcoin was going to the moon and I was stucked in the coin, also dropping in BTC terms - during December and January my position worthed.

36  Economy / Economics / Re: Easiest way to make BTC? on: April 17, 2018, 03:02:17 AM
Bitcoin is a type of money, so the only way to make btc is like making dollars, i.e. get a work and get paid. Or setup a business and starting profit, with the profit you buy bitcoin.

Just to whatever you are good and keep improving.
38  Local / Economia & Mercado / Re: Startup - Capital Social - Cripto Moeda on: April 17, 2018, 02:46:41 AM

40  Local / Primeiros Passos (Iniciantes) / Re: Como receber o valor das moedas on: April 14, 2018, 04:02:36 AM
