21  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will You Sell when BTC Hits $1,000? on: November 16, 2013, 06:41:07 PM
guess 1,000$ / BTC will have a huge psychological impact.
i predict a lot people to cash out.

ha thats why im cashing out at 920. im good with those gains dont need the extra little bit. i think if it gets to the high 900 we are going to see a huge huge huge crash back to 250. maybe ill cash out at 880 just to be safe. the only thing worse then cashing out at 400 is knowing you could have cashed out at 900. if it goes to 1200 then cool for everyone but ill be happy with my gains.

23  Economy / Speculation / Re: What effect will Monday's US Congressional hearing have on price? on: November 16, 2013, 06:18:05 PM
i agree that it will have some affect, I do not think it will be the kind of thing that people are going to hang on every last word of the decision and supper rally/sell. I think that no matter what decision there is it will just benefit bitcoins in the long run.  I feel like its kinda like publicity for famous people with the saying of "bad publicity is still publicity and publicity is good".

and i agree with the other posters about how it will make quite a few wealthy people look into this a bit more, they will do there home work and see that there are huge gains in the bitcoins world. buy a couple them selves. once people are a little bit invested (literally) in bitcoins then they may bring it up in conversations with there families and friends which will just further spread there word about bitcoins.

I do not know a lot about the decision but unless it is an out right ban and attack on the cryptocurrency then i feel it could just stabilize and somewhat rally it.

26  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITSTAMP eXchange wall Observer. second biggest and best exchange on: November 08, 2013, 04:43:19 PM
30$ + on bitstamp vs mt gox. sorry i mean mt gox is at least 30 bucks more than stamp now. usually its like ten bucks.
Hint: Think in percentage terms, not absolute dollar terms.

Mt Gox is about 9% higher than Bitstamp, which is normal compared to the last few months.

true but your 500 coins your selling at 325 vs 355 is about that percent but back to dollars you have 15,000 dollars. just saying when it gets into these larger numbers 9% is a bigger deal than when it was $12.00 per bitcoin.

but just yesterday they were about the same value. for the most part stamp still follows gox. so why the lower end buy walls. you have over 200 bitcoins to be bought under the 350 mark and gox is above that. if i was selling....im not.... i would not sell at 325 is all im saying if gox is 30 over that. even if its one coin. make your thirty bucks man.

wonder why you would set your big buy wall so low?Huh when you could make 30 more dollars on each of your coins. taking big buy walls on stamp.

what's up with bitstamp?
constant server lag up to 1 hour  Shocked according to http://trading.i286.org/bitstamp/?item=btc&currency=usd#
trading not looking to be stopped though, price is changing...and I could login

I wouldn't recommend trading with that huge lag.

will "getting stamped" become an expression soon?  Smiley

ha no way i love stamp its always cheeper to buy on stamp then gox sometimes by over 25 bucks. then when it does go down it is only about 5 bucks lower on stamp. WIN WIN extra WIN!!!! of corse those days/weeks cant traid/getmoney out sucked. ......oh oh oh wait that was not stamp that was gox bahahahahahahahahah

36  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will the price be of bitcoins in one week after take over of SR on: October 02, 2013, 10:47:55 PM
ide also like to say that the jump from 110 to 125 is a bull trap to the max. please be carefull. im a bull but i know that this is a total bull trap and it will go down to 100 by days end. well i feel strongly that it will. i dont know anything.
got one thing right.

damn i was wrong about it dropping from 140. oh haha it did drop hard....

ya your right that bounce up to 128 was stable....oh whats that? its not climbing above and now dropping hard again to 117? oh haha damn i was right about that too?

well lets see it is fun to highlight other peoples words and point out things that they all ready said...... you got that going for ya. make fun of them even though they all ready said it. yay fun with words and now we are all dumber for your contribution!!! +1 buddy.... +1.
37  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: mods are earasing my wanings. plese sell while you can on: October 02, 2013, 07:55:55 PM
http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/10/02/us-crime-silkroad-raid-idUSBRE9910TR20131002

interesting....more facts are coming out. yes i know some one has probably allready posted this. but i just thought for those who DONT know this is the latest.

no i do not want BTC to be dead. im just saying that .... at the time.... it was 140 and i was saying sell. like i did and get back in when you felt like it. if you want to make money on bitcoins (i do .... some just like the idea of them and thats coool too. but for me its money. i know im horrible)

for example 100 coins sold at 138.50 today. back in at 112.12 a coin. now i took those 100 coins and made them into 13,850.00 now buy at 112.12 123 and 1/2 coins. now they are worth 128 sooooo 128 x 123.5 = 15,811.00 so it was just numbers for me. i got lucky . some times i dont. but two grand for a days work is good for me. btw it was just under 100 coins. but 100 is way easier to do the math for demonstration purposes.

btw im going to sell if it hits 130 cuz i think it will go down to 110 for sure again no problem i think almost under 100 but we will see.

ya i get excited about money and the prospects there of. like gambling.... stocks are JUST LIKE gambling.

sorry so FUD ish but i was trying to get others to make money is all. my bad ill tone it down for sure

I'm thinking something like $90-$110. It seems to like to eventually equalize in there after something bad happens.

+1 ya maybe im over projecting the panic of this. but then again some people have proxies in to robo buy at a "low" 120 or a low 110. when people wake up in other parts of the world or when people get home from work. they will be like WFT and then more selling will ensue resulting in more sells and thus the wheel keeps going. i do think 100 is might be good but be careful if it does drop below 100 then we might be in for one hell of a ride. it will bounce back everyone knows that it always bounces back. my point to another person is that sell now. ie-high and buy back in low. simple principles of stock ummmmm k

People are freaking out, but Silk Road has competitors and another site will take it's place. Probably one not based in the US and not run by a US resident or citizen thus free from being shut down.

woops meant to  say by. like good by bitcoins.

anyways i think your right. but panic selling will get the best of everyone. and it will go to 80 imo. maybe less. ill buy around 60ish.
