Guys now the big move is starting with Ethereum going up! Many people are doing very well with ETH now.
Is it now time to sell bitcoin and move to Ethereum?
Yes. Remember ETH was touching cloth of $20 recently. ^^ Minescam over here desperately looking for an exit. He's having trouble finding the greater fool. How much longer can you eat it? Did you actually do the math on the daily costs of running the network at this cap? You're paying that longterm? Really? I doubt it. |

Price is rigged. It's meaningless at this point. I think eth remains very high risk trade. Wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole, also not next month or the month after. The pumpers need to take their profit (or loss) at one point and that's when you don't want to be long. There is better risk/reward trades out there. Just put it on ignore until in 6 or 12 or even 18 months - see what it has become by that time.

i think DAO must give a bounty for those who will give information about the hacker.
They know who the hacker is, and he actually have lawyers trying to prove the attack wasnt illegal(it was part of DAO's concept). Leaving my front door open this morning doesn't give you licence to steal from me. That is not the same thing. It's like someone finding a flaw in a written contract and utilizing it..... He can sue if the contract is not followed. It's exactly the same thing. And it's downright disgusting how anybody could rally behind blatant theft of others. People don't rally behind a "theft", people rally behind "immutability" - we know you're mentally challenged by all this. |

It's completely open to replay attacks and is unsupported. Gud luck trading on that. mETH is also open to replay attacks. And i heard rumors of Gregory Maxwell and many other devs actually supporting classic. Can't wait to get my hands on some of those classic tbh. |

I agree with OP. Because the DAO is being hacked. So it is possible to hack again. Thats the trust of trader will be gone to ether. But maybe hardfork will save eth. We dont even know what will happen in the next month
From what I've read, and correct me if I'm wrong: nothing was fixed. The underlying issues are still present, because its a fundamental flaw in ethereum. So any similar contract could still be hacked in the future. The devs promise a false sense of security. I wonder if a hardfork every week will affect ETH, what would the investors think about it then? Ther more they hardfork Vitalikum the stronger classic will be imo. I think classic will be around for a while and there is even the possibility of it becoming the dominant chain one day in the future. |

premining = "creation of coins before mining starts" (actual meaning of the word/definition) usually in the genesisblock they just come into existance from nothing at no cost (these coins aren't backed by productioncosts, that's why they generally tend to deprecate real fast)

Where is my eTHC/mETH pair? Why is everyone chickening out at the most important part?
There are two chains now. It's too soon to say wich chain is the winning one because both seem to be viable for now and it could remain like that for a very long time. That means exchanges can't open deposit/withdrawals for mETH as long as eTHC is viable because doing so opens them up for going bankrupt in case eTHC would take over later in which case they all were betting on the loosing side. I don't know if exchanges want to take on that risk? As long as eTHC is active exchanges stand the risk of being left with worthless coins at a later stage.
Still watching and waiting for more exchange listings currently. Only the mETH/eTHC pair will bring the final clarity about the status quo everyone is looking for right now.
Announcing victory before it's 101% sure is convenient for mETH-heads but very dangerous for exchanges in case the favour of miners and users changes drastically (for whatever reason) on a later date in which case all exchanges betting on the wrong side would go out of business and maybe didn't even see it coming. With keeping mETH listed through the HF exchanges enabled ordinary users and miners to pull the rug from under exchanges for as long as mTHC is active.
I bet my bottom dollar the greedy exchanges didn't think about that outcome. Hash isn't so important because that changes with price and any whale can bump it at any later date for whatever reason. What's important: mTHC exists and therefore exchanges betting on the mETH HF can't feel completely safe for as long as eTHC exists imo. All it takes is mETH falling from grace or eTHC gaining some more support longterm. This game could keep going on for a very long time as many seem to be in it for ideology and not profit which makes the situation kind of unpredictable.
Once again happy to only be invested in popcorn.

Noobs with too much money pump garbage, they don't know better. Their pride tells them to do so. They can't start at the bottom and work the way up, they are so proud, they need to start at the top and work their way to the bottom. They'll learn later this was money to the wind. If i want swiss cheese i order it directly from swizerland.
Pumping in and out money doesn't give it value.
