Press Releases
Sophia and Mark have written our next press release and sent it for circulation. There should be a coordinated public release of the articles across all the major crypto news outlets this Thursday. The press release covers things which you will already know if you follow this thread or are signed up to our slack, but we want to broadcast the news of our recent successes to the wider public. The article focuses on the success of the first round of beta testing and the recent release of the Navtech whitepaper.
Hi Craig, Thanks for the update. The quote above interests me the most. With NAV you're doing great things and I do also believe that press attention is needed to reach a bigger crowd. You're working hard and good things are in front of us, but the more people you can reach, the better. I've also saw already the Thunderclap campaign on Twitter, nice to see that you're investing in visibility too on social media.

NAV went down again a bit. I expected that looking at market depth. But now market depth looks much better than yesterday. I see more buyers than sellers now. Pity I don't have any money left to buy more NAV Lowest point was 0.00005949 in the last 24 hours. The price is now 0.00006712, so their are some new investors since the dump. i think something will happen big coming this week as price keeps on fluctuating up and down so there's new investors who's playing with this project and can be big news for us just on holding. They are full beta testing, so I don't expect spectacular news for this week.

NAV Up, tomorrow the price will explode, I believe NAV you will hold for a long time.
The rise of today, just before the announcement on Monday, is a good sign. That means that the community is expecting news about the release of the decentralization. So the confidence is there. I'm curious how the market will react on the step closer. Actually I am not very happy with people here yelling that amazing news will come out on monday. Last week Soopy told us here something amazing would be published hinting to a price increase so I bought at 9000 and the only thing that came out was a whitepaper. That actually dissapointed me because now it went down to 7000. If he wouldn't have said this nonsense I could have bought NAV at 7000 instead of 9000. So be careful what is said here. I don't want to bash anyone from the NAV team but you can imagine that an investor can get pretty pissed off if someone from the NAV team claims something amazing will be released on monday and then it turns out to be a whitepaper. A whitepaper is definitely interesting but not something that will make the price go up. So don't ruin people's investment by hinting that the news will be so great that price will go up. I don't like it either that persons are announcing (each Monday or Sunday) that the price will go "to the moon". Even more, I've asked several times in this topic to be realistic, check my post the day before the release of the white paper : ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=679791.msg16364218#msg16364218) Maybe it wasn't good to react on the "explode-post" of Fagnersteve (no offense Steve), but in my view I've only noticed that NAV recovered today with +20% after a huge dip this week. The week before the white paper, the price was stable all the time and on Monday the price dropped. Now we're having another situation, price went up today in which I believe that the price will recover some more tomorrow.

the launch of web wallet is Monday?
That's possible. The web wallet is finished for 95%. You can follow up the developments of their projects on the website of NAV: http://www.navcoin.org/projects

Anonymity has a future. The new technology has a future. Save NAV, push up NAV, I have enough coins, i don't sell NAV within 2 or 4 years, or maybe never sell, NAV will be my new bank, bank without abusive commissions.
I have a negative feeling about the word anonymity, privacy is more what I look for. Privacy with a decentralized system gives the benefit of worldwide usage, safe to manipulation and fast transactions. Totally right, privacy sounds better indeed

For the following weeks, please keep an eye on NAV.
The reasons for me are simple to invest in NAV: 1. Price is cheap, 0.04$ for the moment 2. As you saw with XMR, the market is very open to anonymous cryptocurrency. Anonymity and privacy will likely play an increasing role in the cryptocurrency world. With government’s and central banks prying into our affairs it is very likely these type of privacy networks will only grow more popular. 3. The NAV-community is doing great work, they are going forward with their developments and I like the communication with weekly announcements on Monday for their investors. 4. And offcourse, exciting times are coming up for NAV with the release of the decentralized network

NAV is for me the best coin to keep an eye on.

On the first of June from this year, the price of XMR was 0.90$. Three months later the price rose to 13.25$. So an early adopter has generated a ROI in which he could earn an amount that was 12 times bigger than his investment.
A nice to know also is that Monero had his 2 years celebration in April 2016. (at that moment XMR was still unknown) NAV celebrated their 2 years anniversary on the 6th of July.
The only difference between those coins today is that XMR already had his jump while NAV is ready to take it.
On the otherside, I don't deny that NAV is still unknown. But it's not because it's unknown that it can't be discovered by investors.
Even more, I'm searching for that kind of coins with a promising future that still needs to be discovered by the huge crowd. Take a look to the technology adoption lifecycle in which I prefer to be an early adopter than a laggard.

I believe that NAV is able to get the same rise as XMR. Mass communication is important in which I believe that the NAV-developers are working on some publications for known blockchain newssites like Coindesk.
And for the NAV-investors, keep patient. Don't expect every Monday that the price "will go the moon" for each kind of announcement. NAV will rise when the release will be there and when it will be picked up by the community.
To the others that don't believe in NAV, I have respect for your opinion too, but please come over with good arguments. "NAV is worthless, NAV is falling like a stone, NAV and his buy support are dominated by whales,..." aren't the comments for me to react on. Keep it professional, do some research, and try me to convince your opinion.

Hi Team, Some of the feedback we've seen either here, the polo trollbox or further a field is that people are finding the Navtech Whitepaper a bit too technical. I sympathise that it is difficult for the layman and even the seasoned crypto investor to understand, not everyone is a software developer! Sometimes it's even hard for me to wrap my head around and I am the one who has designed and built the system! My head hurts! Unfortunately this is the nature of whitepapers. It's like a walk through of the code and a full outline of how the solution works from a technical perspective. Have you ever read the bitcoin whitepaper? At least i didn't go that far! It even has calculus equations it it! Anyway, Sophia and Mark have been so kind as to write an article which is perhaps a bit more digestible for everyone: Nav’s new White Paper: The Cheat SheetOn the 26th of September Nav Coin released a white paper for the re-release of their anonymous network. The 23-page document was written in impressive detail and explained the design, technology, and math, behind the simple tick-box anonymous send system. The groundbreaking design uses double blockchain technology and coin sending methods together to form an advanced anonymous sending system not before seen in the Cryptocurrency world. Continue to the Atrticle Thanks to Mark and Sophia for your efforts! I don't know what we'd do without you here to translate my geek speak into real english. Talk soon, Craig. Amazing how you're working with your community Hard work pays off! Good luck!

Cryptocurrencys are classified as an asset and will continue to be. More and more regulation will come in, and every day more and more tradional traders, laymen, and investors are coming from other markets and industry.
Honestly, I don't understand your concerns. Price is going up. This year price went up more than 800 % and the decentralization still has to take place. Then you say that the developers are not putting in effort in branding. What ? That's exactly how I found out about NAV ... due to their branding. I read an article about it in some crypto news site. The recent tripling in price was also caused by an article that was published in several sites. I totally agree with your opinion. People expect too much of NAV on a short-term. The developers of NAV are working hard on their project in which I like very much the way they communicate. Everything in full transparency , they are also the first to help or to answer when something isn't clear for a certain investor. People should make a difference about "good" news and "great" news. The price won't go "to the moon" with a release of a white paper as I've already mentioned this week. For me, NAV is one of the most promising cryptocurrencies. If the weak hands would like to sell their NAV, for me fine as well. Nevertheless, the news of the beta testing looks promising. I'm looking forward to it.

Gentlemen, the great days ahead. Tomorrow will release White Paper - what it means for NAV?
A step in the good direction. But please make a difference between "good" news and "great" news. It's not the first time that NAV will release a white paper.
