Where is the best place to keep up to date with developments here please?
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto.com - The Pioneering Payments & Cryptocurrency Platform on: July 18, 2020, 08:58:13 AM
Ive Never been overcharged by a single Cent, not once.

Im in Europe. Ive sent cash from my bank to top up app 100 euro from bank, arrived as 100 euro in app, no extra fee.
I made payments in store, all 100% to the cent.  With the nice bonus of up to 10% cash back, like when shopping in supermarket like Tesco.
Ive used the card online and again, never been charged a cent more.

Plus always get cashback in the form of $CRO 3% to 10%.

I hope the company has decided to take a more honest route (look at the history with Monaco) and i hope this card is here to stay.    The only thing i dont like, i actually got banned from Telegram chat for simply saying "Defi is a hackers dream"  so they are quite heavy on censorship, which often sets off a few alarms.

But so far, all good.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Pizza Day 2019 on: May 22, 2020, 11:09:18 AM
Hello Fellow Pizza and Bitcoin Lovers!

Today is 22nd May 2020 and the current value of the 10k BTC is $91 Million and change!    Was it ever discovered who made the deal here?  Looking a the old thread, the user "BitcoinFX" would look like the guy who accepted the 10k BTC.

As i say its 2020, still not many places to spend $BTC, Bitcoin going through its longest Bear Market ever after reaching near $20k USD per BTC back in December 2017.

One thing is for sure, i hope you all join me in enjoying some very tasty Pizza today!

24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COS] COSMOS, internet of blockchains on: May 17, 2020, 06:02:33 PM
Im seeing a lot of big projects with very little news or active development, i know this coin has been on the radar in the past, but now, looks too quiet.

You guys are listed on Crypto .com also, seen no mention of it here (rather strange).  Will have to check out the telegram channel hope it is more busy than here.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: May 17, 2020, 05:58:03 PM
Hello to all the investors here,

Would you say you are happy with Stellar in the last two years? Im now  actievly seeking solid projects to invest in and there is no better feedback than from the people who spent their hard money on this token.   Many thanks.

26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: May 17, 2020, 05:55:08 PM
Wow.

I came here to see whats been happening after EOS was listed on Crypto.com i thought it must be a good project. Not sure sure now.   Who is the Dev / community manager here? Where is the best place to learn what EOS has done in the last 2 years please?
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto.com - The Pioneering Payments & Cryptocurrency Platform on: May 16, 2020, 05:30:13 PM

PS: They were also giving away $250 worth of $BTC but it runs out in 3 days time, i was one of many (50 a day) lucky winner).

where was the giveaway on discord or somewhere else? and what was necessary to do to get the chance to win the prize?
the 250$ is a great prize, I would like to take a chance too

Twitter. Make sure to follow them on twitter. https://twitter.com/cryptocom

Only Competition are on twitter or on the exchange.   Current competition is for Tesla model s  and each week someone wins $1,000 USD in $BTC.

Never any discord or telegram giveaways, so make sure not to fall for scams.

In all my years, Crypto.com have impressed me the most in this crypto space, the way they only list potential big coins is testiment to the exchange (expect for BCH of course, no one givess fucks about that coin)

Would be nice if "Clay Space" posted here to give updates also.

Two absolute epic disaster investments this and Augmentors nearly killed me...   can this project come back from the dead? Or is it more of a case that "Clay Space" or what ever his name is, is trying to hold off going to Jail? Because running a ICO like he did was a pure Scam.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are u buying alts? on: May 05, 2020, 12:33:26 PM
WAIT for $BTC to break ATH (20k+)

Then start to look at Alts.

Few things to consider.

Treat ALL Altcoins the same. Only join community to see how active it is, dont hang around. NEVER get attached to a coin, it will cost you dearly.

do not believe anything the coin creators say, most is all smoke and mirrors.  There is only around 1% of genuine projects in this space, your GOAL is to buy alts to make more BITCOIN , thats it.

Keep it simply, look at support lines to buy, then know where resistance is to sell, rinse and repeat. Bitcoin is KING, your Goal is to make as much BTC from Alts as possible, nothing else matter.
30  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: AML/KYC Explained on: May 05, 2020, 12:26:25 PM
To UPDATE this thread.

After possible using every exchange made since 2013. I can say with certainty that Kraken is now one of the least intrusive  and one of the easiest places to Buy and Sell $BTC (and some alts). Cash in bank often with 24hrs.

Certainly avoid the likes of Bitstamp who are really terrible at wanting to know EVERYTHING.

So anyone here looking for a Safe, trusted and easy exchange, Kraken is your best bet.
31  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies look out for scam tricks on: May 05, 2020, 12:21:29 PM
Its really quite simple to avoid scams.

1- DO NOT send ANYONE any of your Crypto / BTC. (in the hope they will give you more back)
2- DO NOT send ANYONE your Crypto or BTC  (just in case you are not sure about No.1)

Many people on Twitter, You Tube, Facebook are scammers, out to steal from you.

3- Beware of keyloggers! USe godo anti-virus, website rating sites like WOT (web of trust) can help, use ad blockers, make sure you dont auto download things.

4- Do NOT instal any wallet.  Another easy way to loose everything. Dont trust them, get yourself a physical hardware wallet to store coins offline.

REMEMBER - Think like this "Everyone is trying to steal from me" TRUST NO ONE.

Lastly. Do NOT become "community member"  Best not to "care about any altcoin, or you will be left holding bags, regretting not selling them.

BE SAFE! and Good Luck!
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto.com - The Pioneering Payments & Cryptocurrency Platform on: April 07, 2020, 05:26:59 PM
UPDATE:

I joined and downloaded the App.  The app works flawlessly, very impressive i must say.  The BIG attractions.

1- When you lock 500 MCO into wallet in "Earn" You get 20% Bonus on your holdings. PLUS
100% Rebate on Spotify and Netflix (up to $12,99) paid in MCO token each month. (amazing deal)

2- Crypto.com other token CRO, you get 18% when holding in app and 20% when placed in staking on exchange, again, really good rewards.

3- This is a very nice BONUS $50 worth of MCO token for free when you refer a friend
- Note you have to be fully verified (like i am) and your friend has to be fully verified and stake at least 50 MCO token
(considering price is low now, its also a good investment IMHO)

Highly rate this app and will be using it to pay for all i can and earn nice cash back (avg 3%) and 10% cash back when sending crypto to friends.

Feel free to use my Ref link and get $50 today.

if you have any questions, feel free to DM or join the very active telegram group.

PS: They were also giving away $250 worth of $BTC but it runs out in 3 days time, i was one of many (50 a day) lucky winner).
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano (ADA): A New Cryptocurrency and More on: January 27, 2020, 07:23:56 PM
$ADA  i like because it has big names behind it and plenty of funds for development. It is very well known Crypto currency and should be on anyone's top 10 list.  500-600 sats, is a steal.   Easy 10X come Summer.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Top Performing Altcoin In 2020 on: January 11, 2020, 11:32:05 AM
ETH is facing a lot of problems, delays and inhouse fighting, i used to think Ethereum would do well, not any more.

Tezos has a lot of support and trust in the crypto community, i see that doing very well.
Currently   0.00016327   $1.31 MY prediction would be easy x10 from here $13 to $30 within 12 months.

Along with many staking coins, i think Staking combined with privacy alts are going to have a good year.

A little, well established coin from 2014, thats never stopped working and self funded, no ico and no premine is $IOC (bittrex) it touched over 100k at the height of the last Bull run and currently only 670 sats.   That scream bargain to me.  Big on privacy, storing date on blockchain, unique OOAK wallet.

and i personally like $ADA  only 455 sats.

These low value alts (under 1k) are easy to pump and do x10.    This is where the easiest gains are made.  (except for XRP  Cheesy )

I have sent you a PM here and also replied to email.  Many thanks.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [BTS] Bitshares #1 Fastest Crypto, Tokens, DEX, ICOs since 2014 (unofficial ಠ_ಠ) on: December 08, 2019, 10:49:02 AM
Crypto-Bridge will close accounts on the 15th December, one week from now.

I was able to get verified with KYC and send BTC.

BUT i can not send the BTS i have in my account.   I want to send to Bittrex (most simple way, or should be)

I enter. Registered account name:  bittrex-deposit
then the memo:

Then i click send and get a new message on crypto bridge saying.

"Transaction was not signed. Do you have a private key? [no_signers]"

What does this mean please and is there anyway to send BTS from CryptoBridge of they simply scamming users and stealing peoples BTS?
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: AUGMENTORS GAME Augmented Reality Mobile Gaming iOS Android Token DTB Databits on: December 04, 2019, 03:58:09 PM
On Discord Turbo Drift Team replied.

"Hi everyone,

The blockchain integration was part of the original concept when we began the project with Augmentors and Newtown Partners.  The goal was to allow for vehicles to be on a blockchain so that players could trade these for real money.

Our first objective however, was to create a fun game that was being played and enjoyed by our fans. Without this, the crypto side would be pointless as there would be no reason to trade vehicles.

Since then, the Augmentors team has ceased development and because they were the ones developing the crypto backend, it means we're unsure on how to complete this. Our game budget never included funds to be able to continue this development and we're not the experts in this regard, so can't simply pick this up.

We are still constantly speaking to Newtown Partners to figure out next steps and we will announce these when we have any info. For now, our goal is still the same - try to develop a fun game.

If we do that, then we hope that we can add new features and help to achieve the original vision.

Thanks for your support so far!"

Not what we wanted to hear really.  Seem like they need help with integrating Blockchain side, if anyone here know how they can do this, please feel free to reach out to them.

Hey Guys,

Great to see some old users still around here, looks like Stratis has been busy during this Brutal Bear Market.

As many of you know, i had some Silver Coins made, Found i have 3 left, they are not cheap, but they are quality.

Please see Bitcoin talk topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1909935.60

"Topic: [WTS] STRATIS Fine Silver .999 Ltd Ed 100 Coins only Minted by Kremnica Slovakia"

Bring back a Smile to the holders here.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2020   Year that Stratis once again shines brightly.

So sad, they stole my 9 (or 11 can't remember) coins  Sad

Can't have anything what with my family of thieves and living in such a corrupt country as Morocco.

Hi Frobley, very sorry to hear that.  Sad

The only thing i can suggest in the future, should you want anything sent and are travelling to a country thats more safe for shipping, have it sent to your accommodation, one way of a work around.

Some postal systems are still really bad, one day i hope there is a way to track all parcels, so anyone who touches it gets on record and if it goes missing they can root out the thieving bastards.

Hope you have better luck in the future.

PS: thanks Demon Knight, sent you a PM and discord request, great to see you still around
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: I/O Coin Ticker: IOC - Anon Blockchain Ecosystem - NightHawk - Dions - Chameleon on: December 01, 2019, 03:43:29 PM
Really fantastic to see I/OCoin developments going from strength to strength, not many alts are still here since 2014, like $IOC, only the strong shall survive and I/OCoin developments for the road ahead, more advanced than many of these ICO's and IEO's really great work from all involved. Proof of Stake is going to get a lot of attention next year, IOC has solid code and built to last!

Also, as someone mentioned above, any Questions or suggestions, join the Telegram channel, highly active and fast replies, one of the most friendly communities i know in Crypto.

Wishing $IOC Team and Community a Very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year 2020 .
