21  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online on: June 18, 2018, 03:50:46 AM

Did you have to provide anything to get your account unblocked?

They just asked some questions about my account funding and outgoing transfers.

It was easy because like I said that was the first incoming transaction from a third-party account.

Do you still have money blocked on Bunq?
It's getting ridiculous that all the transfers nowadays have to be between accounts of same person name.

My account was unlocked now.

Let's see how it goes.

Still blocked!
The good news are that the account was almost empty.

I agree. Banking is ridiculous nowadays.
I'd bet my nuts that they can't stop the real criminals anyway so it's just annoying for the rest of us.

Or here is a table for offshore banking, the site is not in English but it doesn't matter, most important is the list itself paradisfiscaux20.com/liste-banques-offshore.htm
I don't remember how it is called exactly but remember a lot of countries exchange banks information now, and the countries list is quite big

Thanks for this link. Very informative.

Bunq blocked your account for a transaction related to crypto or something else? It's quite hard to find a neobank agree to deal with transaction related to cryptocurrencies :/

It was but they don't know about it.

The problem is that apparently it was fraudulent. But it was the first I was receiving that didn't came from accounts under my name so I expected them to have a different reaction.

And they used to be quick to reply and since this "incident" they are not replying anymore.

Too bad! I had high hopes for bunq.  Sad

Monese and Fidor are still working good.

"Monese limits your balance to €40k." is this true?

Actually, currently it's 10k for the free plan and 50k for the paid one.
27  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online on: June 01, 2018, 11:11:23 PM
@Vanquish_PT
Are you using Monese with a crypto company? (i.e to receive payment from a crypto exchange etc)

I'm using for localbitcoins trading only.

I haven't used an exchange with them yet.

But from my experience localbitcoins is worst from a banking POV.

Bunq is a good start-up but really strict with  ID verification; KYC

bunq blocked my account. Not looking good.

If you really have 1 million to transfer out, you wouldn't ask here but rather in a forum related to offshore banking

Do you mean offshorecorptalk or other?

28  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online on: May 26, 2018, 11:31:00 AM
Hi,

Does anyone know if any of these online banks can accept big amounts of fiat currency, like 1 million dollars?
I have an account with IBAN at Monese but I heard they had problems with big money transmission...
Thank you!

Monese limits your balance to €40k.

So 1M transfers are out of question. In any case 1M transfers on free online based accounts is crazy talk.

I've receiving regular €5k transfers on Monese and it's working fine so far.

It's the most reliable account I had up to this date. I hope they continue like this.

Well expose your problems with Revolut here so people are aware.

I guess everybody have the same problems with Revolut.

As soon as you start moving real money they will block you. And the worst part is that they keep your money and support take forever to reply.
30  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online on: May 02, 2018, 09:12:42 PM

I think you can delete Revolut now, or at least put it on hold.

They are banning all accounts
Any proof for that claim?

I have noticed some comments about this as well, since one or two weeks. I didn't pay attention as people didn't really explain what happened exactly. And often people avoid telling the embarrassing point for their matter
Aw, that's pretty sad. Revolut made press released in my country a few weeks ago announcing an official Release of services in our region (Greece).

Using Revolut. Haven't noticed anything different lately. Still as good as it gets.

Using for what?

As good as it gets? That's shill talk for sure. Their so-called support is simply the worst I've ever seen. Completely ridiculous.

 Huh Huh Huh Huh

Just look at their community: https://community.revolut.com/latest

Don't forget that they actively delete/censor all negative feedback there. All "blocked account", "where's my money", "x months waiting for a reply", etc... reports are systematically eliminated.

You've been warned. It's your choice now.

Why is Netflix so expensive?
34  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online on: March 15, 2018, 10:43:36 PM
Shared IBAN (they can't be used with exchanges)

- https://www.monese.com - (only GBP now) - It isn't free now.
Monese gives you a personal GB IBAN now, not shared. It's 5€ a month (and first month free)

They also have a free plan now.

Time to update the list.

36  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Mistertango - Bitcoin friendly European Bank Account + free MasterCard on: January 27, 2018, 12:56:02 PM

I was talking about FIAT not BTC.
You are right BTC is almost anonymous.
I still don't know what is their KYC for BTC withdrawals either ...

But if you can't receive money from other people on your account, what's the point?

Moving money around your own accounts?

Bank transfers are never anonymous!. Each account has a very well identified owner. What am I missing here?

37  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Palm Beach group Subscription - Group buy on: January 25, 2018, 05:23:58 PM

Hello Vanquish, the reason we've limited our users is because we don't want many subscribers into it. The more members the more option to leak out the infos.
If you think its scam, I could prove you that we're a legit group via Team view.

Regarding the price option, everything needs a fixed price right! Smiley
Thanks

10 or 100 won't make much of a difference I guess.

And the price should be split between the members of the group.

If you have a netflix subscription with 3 friends you divide by 4. If it's just you and 1 friend you divide by 2.

38  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Mistertango - Bitcoin friendly European Bank Account + free MasterCard on: January 25, 2018, 05:19:47 PM

Maybe you received funds from a hijacked account?
If the original owner makes a complaint that someone has transferred/stole money from his account, they will (at least in my country) block the senders and receivers bank account.
After investigation they MAY release these accounts again.
In most cases the receiving bank (in this case Mistertango) will close the account afterwards.

That's the reason, why I never do P2P-Trading with SEPA transfers.

It's possible but I don't think so because it was so fast.

What you describe already happened to me with several accounts and usually takes more time.

But the complaint may also be fraudulent so the bank can't just shut me off for that reason.

What pisses me off the most is the complete lack of communication. If they don't like what I'm doing they could just contact me and say something like "We don't like what we see in your account. If you do this and that, we'll shut you down for good."

39  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online on: January 25, 2018, 04:13:50 PM

Thanks for the experiences. I was tring to get verified on mistertango and their shitty system does not accept my id for mulitple times because they say it is blurred which is not. Anyway, I gave up after I see what you have said. In addition, It is suspicious that same one person is always writing positive things about this tango here on the site..

If you load these accounts from other account in your name and just spend money with the debit/credit cards it must be ok.

But what's the point of that? If I just want to spend money there are a million ways to do it.

If your idea is receive transfers and send transfers out, even a few thousands a month, you can forget these shitty banks.
40  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Mistertango.com - Lithuania - IBAN bank account EUR - Bitcoin friendly on: January 24, 2018, 06:50:18 PM
I posted my experience on their thread but as it is self-moderated they can delete it, so I'll post here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1972805.msg28831503#msg28831503

It seems my account is locked or at least has some limitation.

...

I used my account to buy and sell on localbitcoins.

Just want to update this.

Mistertango just closed my account. At least they were fast to transfer the full remaining amount to other account I gave them.

After that they stopped replying to me and I can't even see the closing statement.

I'll explain how I used this account:

All I did was localbitcoins trading.

I sell bitcoin for SEPA and buy bitcoin for SEPA. Just this!!

When I receive money in the account I immediately buy and send to other person. I know banks don't like this and think this is money laundering behaviour but I explained I did bitcoin trading and I expected much more from a bank that claims to be bitcoin-friendly.

I was able to use them to receive about €9k in less than a month.

So far this was the fastest bank to shut me down. All other banks I used and shut me down took way more time.

So bitcoin-friendly MY ASS! Maybe they are friendly if you buy on their own exchange, but that is not bitcoin-friendly.

This experience was very similar to every other fucking bank. Stupid decisions, impossible to reason with, and NOT BITCOIN-FRIENDLY AT ALL!!!!

I'm very disappointed with Mistertango.

You've been warned!
