21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats the best paying signature bounty ongoing on: May 14, 2018, 11:42:23 AM
Not sure because there is no way to tell the best paying ICO until they actually pay out at the end of the bounty campaign but what you should do is to find a coin with a good price and not a lot of bounty hunters in it because the higher the number of bounty hunters in a project, they reduce the number of stakes weekly to be able to serve everyone involved in it.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best hardware wallet ? on: May 13, 2018, 12:12:12 PM
You cannot go wrong with Trezor. It is my favorite pick of all of the hardware wallet and very easy to use and understand. Although I have a friend who swears by ledger and says that it is a much better option, I have not used it before to store coins so I can only tell you about the one i have experience with. If you are a newbie then I suggest you try out Trezor first.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia is going to accept crypto! on: May 12, 2018, 10:19:20 AM
With a country like russia accepting cryptocurrencies, it is a very good news seeing as now russia is one of the biggest and the most influential countries in the world. Mass adoption and more news like these of countries accepting cryptos is what will boost the prices and value of cryptos. It will only take a while before other countries are following suit and accepting cryptos in their countries.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the distinguishing features of a scam ICO? on: May 12, 2018, 10:03:28 AM
I pay attention to the whitepaper, grammar errors, product presentations, commands, how they advertise themselves in social networks. In accordance with these criteria, I choose the project, this can reduce the risk of hitting on scammers

I look out for things like these when looking at ICOs to invest in. The whitepaper can tell so much about a project and the people that are behind it. Especially ones with so many grammatical errors on something as important as a white paper just shows that there is no seriousness about the project and once they get the money they are looking for they will leave the project to crash and burn.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin VS bitcoincash on: May 11, 2018, 12:34:34 PM
Bitcoin is basically the original coin while bitcoin cash is a fork off of bitcoin which means that bitcoin cash is like a break out from bitcoin but it is not exactly like bitcoin and is different in a lot of aspects. Bitcoin cash is just a split from bitcoin and the block size too is different. Bitcoin is still the better coin between the two coins though but bitcoin cash is also doing good.
26  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is back ? is that good time to invest ? on: May 11, 2018, 12:22:15 PM
It has started recovering now and it is a good price to buy and if the recovery continues then we might as well be heading back into another bull market for now. There is still a good deal of time left for the market to recover and since it is doing so at a slow pace so the people who are still interested in investing can still do that for a while before the market goes up again.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whether the new coin can survive? on: May 11, 2018, 12:12:45 PM
It is not easy to tell if a new coin in the market can survive or not, hell it is not easy to tell if some of the coins that have been in the market for a while now would even survive in the long run. At the end of the day, it ready depends on the team and the developers and how much they are willing to do and sacrifice to make sure their coins are a success. No one can tell for sure.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a pump for eth anymore? on: May 11, 2018, 12:04:52 PM
I'm not sure. Although looking at the market for the past couple of weeks it sure did look like someone was pumping ethereum and trying to manipulate the price. Because it went up so fast and then in the matter of a couple of hours, the price was down and later started picking up. It won't be long though before someone with a lot of money decides to pump ethereum
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you raised money on ICO? on: May 11, 2018, 11:57:56 AM
I did a couple of ICOs last year and I must say that  I made quite a good amount of money from investing in these ICOs and I have raised money from investing in it. This is why I always tell people that there is a lot of money to be made from investing in ICOs and you can never go wrong with it as long as you invest in one with a good project and not a useless coin.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum a threat to bitcoin on: May 10, 2018, 09:08:08 PM
Not really because these two despite being the biggest projects and coins currently, have different purposes and different goals that they are trying to achieve. They are not competing and they both have enough investors in their respective projects and field to keep them at the top. There might be a bit of competition between these two coins but it is not a 'one trying to kill off the other competition'.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's Time to Buy Alt Coin on: May 10, 2018, 08:52:25 PM
Now with the price recovery and all some people might believe that it is not a good time to buy altcoin but I disagree. At this point you are watching the prices of the coins go up which means when you buy in you get to watch the prices of the altcoin keep going up and you make profit. you can decide to wait if you want but if it is true that we are headed for a bull market, then this is the best time for you to buy.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will mining will ever stop ? on: May 10, 2018, 08:40:22 PM
Not in the near future. The whole cryptocurrencies are facilitated by mining and without mining then transactions won't be confirmed which would mean that you would not be able to send coins. Ethereum seems to be working on converting to POS which would mean that the services of miners would no longer be needed but until something like that is put in place, mining will continue to be important and not stop.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest in altcoin? on: May 10, 2018, 08:32:10 PM
Investing in altcoins is the best way to get the best possible returns on your investment you know. With return margins that might seem impossible to achieve with bitcoin because it has grown so much in price, you can get it by investing in altcoins. Also, bitcoin is not just enough to serve everybody with its limited amount so altcoins help to fill in the gaps.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The fall of cryptocurrency on: April 07, 2018, 05:00:21 PM
You seem like a weak hand. And weak hands is what the whales want to weed out with their price manipulation, so that only the strong hands will hodl. One needs to know before investing in crypto currencies that it can take a very long time to see any gains or that their prices can drop to half any time.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Crypto Currency? on: April 07, 2018, 04:55:32 PM
If the governments could have killed the crypto currencies then trust they would have already done it. The crypto currencies are decentralized and this is something the governments cant kill. While all I see is bright future for the cryptocurrencies with so many real world use cases they have.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is 1ETH=$10,000 worth the possibility? on: April 07, 2018, 04:53:39 PM
I think ETH will reach that price in the next three years. With Proof of Stake, sharding and Plasma coming, there isn't anything but good news lined up for the Ethereum project. One just needs to increase his stash while the prices are still at rock bottom.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you day trade or prefer a long term hold? on: April 07, 2018, 04:52:05 PM
If you look at the price history of any coin than you will find that one is better off just hodling his coins than trying to trade them. Trading isn't for everyone and most of the people just end up losing their investment. While one cant really go wrong hodling if he invests in a solid coin.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do in this bearish market? on: April 07, 2018, 04:50:25 PM
Everyone needs to get one thing right in their heads and that is that the crypto markets aren't recovering so fast and this bear phase isn't getting over so fast. In this bear market all one needs to do is DCA and hodl. Try to increase your stash as much as possible.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost private key. on: April 04, 2018, 04:18:19 PM
If you can transfer the coins from just your address than don't you think anyone who knows your address will be able to transfer the coins to themselves? If you lose your private keys means it is the end for your coins. No one will be able to get it including you.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to mine or buy Bitcoin? on: April 04, 2018, 04:16:24 PM
Mining is for the big players and requires huge amounts of money to be able to get a decent profit. If you aren't planning on going on such a large scale then you are better off just buying them on exchanges. As that is the easiest way to get bitcoins and is hassle free.
