I think you are a very aggressive and rude person. I've seen your other posts, you can't stand not calling someone names. Just because the "forum is brutal" doesn't mean you shouldn't have manners, which you obviously don't, at least on this forum. Still, I appreciate you typing this out and understand your message. Also, you say this is not the dark market(followers are not sold on the dark market lol, neither are mailing lists for advertising purposes), but still you advertise a mixer in your signature? Hillarious. You realize very well for what that's used mainly since normal users do not require that level of "privacy". Like I've said, don't be hypocrites guys.

I have a marketing background and saw nothing wrong in the act of selling them as it's quite common.

But why are people being hypocrites? Everyone here is so moral and perfect, yet everyone has advertised gambling, which they seem to think is great, including the OP. It's illegal in some states, why is nobody talking about it? Yeah, it's much easier to attack me(a Jr. Member) than one of the higher ranking guys, I totally agree. Also, half the high ranking members have gambling sites in their signature and everybody is fine with that. I'm a hard opposer of gambling, but I don't fcking make threads about those members, even though it's not moral at all and illegal in some states!. So I was thinking we should have a separate thread for Merit begging. It clearly states in the official FAQ thread that it's frowned upon and now with the new requirement, I think we should enforce it otherwise we'll end up having idiots begging for merit everywhere. If users think this thread is overkill, let me know and I'll close it. This is just my opinion given the current state of the forum. All Merit begging can be posted here, PMs, threads, posts.

So a user is begging for merit in the service section. He has 160 Activity, 0 Merit and this is his first post outside Bounty threads. Someone please tag him, this is literally the definition of a parasite. His only goal is working for shitcoins, nothing else.

Yup, I was waiting for this. Great idea, I'll also keep an eye out. I expect a lot of alts to be busted! This is just an added benefit of the Merit change.

Anyone notice the added benefit of this change - linking alts will be much easier? Think about it, due to the new requirements you can bet that users will start transferring 1 merit to alts and we all know how efficient our investigators are on this forum lol. The question being posed here is how did you obtain BTCTalk e-mails? I don't have a problem with selling e-mail lists, some members might find it unethical, I don't as I believe it happens all the time in the corporate circles and you can always place them in spam if you so care. I'm just particularly interested in the one you listed. Also, feel free to comment on the threat you made and the "simulation of social activity". Do you have more accounts with which you can simulate that activity here?  

EDIT: After consideration, I have chosen to request deletion of my sales thread of the above. Seems I may be on a gray line and I'd like to avoid it. I haven't made any sales(luckily) and thus can't be linked to any SPAM mail campaign, which could have been a problem if someone bought and misused the list. I have a marketing background and thus saw nothing wrong with the issue. E-mail selling and "renting" how it's called is a grey area in some states while totally legal in other. Because of that, I chose to close this as I don't want to encourage behavior that may be on the gray side.

I think there are just not enough people giving merit away. The merit system has matured and users are a lot more "stingy" than before. I think it's important to reward the small number of good users on the forum, so as to dilute the spammers and hopefully combat them. Meanwhile, a lot of the high ranking members now would not rank up so easily if they were in a position to start over. Keep in mind, I'm not talking about the quality of their posts, I'm talking about the amount given out. I do realise keeping track of all the posts and quality users is hard work and I thank the active merit contributors.

Having said that, I do believe ranks shouldn't be easily obtained and that the merit system is a great idea, just that the implementation is not fully there yet. In the long run, I'll think we'll regard it as a positive addition to the board.

How convenient for you. What's the reason for the accounts being locked? Do you mind posting the e-mails received from Bet365 in that case? There must have been an e-mail notification of the accounts being locked as well as the deposit confirmations to the same accounts along with registration confirmation. If you can provide that maybe someone could trust you, otherwise you're a scammer trying to get a hold of someone's account.
