Well, he has some reasons why he chose to retire. - His contract with the Bolts has expired already after the last conference and until the time he didn't announced his retirement, there is no call for him telling that his contract will be renewed. - He is prone to his injuries also and he can be a burden to his team if he continues to play as he stated. He is one of the best stretch big in PBA History. He can shoot in front of you even your arms is right in front of him. He is good in three and in the perimeter. Maybe this is is time though and we can't see anything about him this last year. Kudos to him. He can also be a part of the management if he wants so he can share his experience with this young athletes  .
