I want to communicate with the miner but not with a browser client that always refreshes the miners window.

My Sapphire 280x toxic cards continue to hang almost every hour or two. I tried every possible settings for power, clocks, intensity, VM set to 24 GB and nothing works. Most of the cases -wd 1 or -r 0 options manage to restart the miner but sometimes the zecminer window is frozen, I can't even manually or with killing with the task manager close it. Is there a script that can recognize when a zecminer window is not responding and then restarting the windows? I know that -r 1 can restart but I don't want to do it so often. It will waste too much time since in 4 out of 5 cases -r 0 does the job.
I'm working on something like this but this will be a dedicated miner hardware to do the job  |

I have a question regarding to monitoring hashrate. Is there a way to read out the current hashrate reported by the miner via 3rd party apps on the remote port?
Is there some documentation how it's possible?
I have an arduino project and would be cool reading out realtime stats of a miner instead of waiting for console output to text.

Can you please tell me what's the best gpu to buy the hd 7970, r9 290,r9 290x, r9 390 or r380.
I'm interested to make a 7 gpu rig with second hand GPU's but i don't know the hashing power of this gpus.
If you dont want to pay a lot for eletricity, you should go with RX470s or RX480s |

I'm getting BSOD randomly (0x000000d1) DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Sadly i never seen it what driver causes the problem but i think it's amd drivers.
(0xfffff07e2720900c, 0x0000000000000007, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff809c6d435df).
Those are the params.
Is this possible that i'm using the newest drivers instead of 16.12? (RX480 4GB)?
Or should i lower the intensity from 7 to 6?

To all:
v12 requires even more GPU memory, amd drivers don't like such things. So if miner is unstable or you get bad speeds, increase virtual memory and/or reduce "-i" value, by default it's "6", try "-i 4" or "-i 5".

Getting 315H/s Sapphire 8GB OC RX 480s and only 275H/s out of a modded 7970!
May i ask what driver do you use for 480? I'm getting only 155 sols with the newest amd drivers. For 4xx cards (Polaris) Crimson 16.12.2 is recommended. Yep i rolled back my driver. Same results. If i open miner more and more i'm getting less sols time to time. Now i'm on OC & 180 sols LOL |

what's going on with swap?  I think there is some problem with this miner. Not just SWAP but with hashrates. RX480 4G nitro v11.1 with OC 280 Sol, now with V12 200sol :O |

Hi,
I have 2 GPU's (rx480) in a system.
Yesterday it just rebooted and since then I get only the GPU temperature en fanspeed of GPU0.
I do not get to see the temperature and fanspeed of GPU1
What's wrong with this setup?
How to fix it?

Sounds like CrossFire is accidentally enabled. I would check. Second that ^. I had that problem every time I installed new drivers for my 480s it would want to put them in cross-fire. Disable crossfire and you may want to use hdmi dummy plugs |

Claymore. I dont know what is your real Job (if there is). But many students at my school would need a good teacher for programming "real" applications!
