22  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling One Plus 6T - 128GB - Black (Unlocked) [UK] on: January 14, 2020, 09:46:28 PM
Was about to chuck you an offer to buy this for one of my kids. Then I saw the price listen in BCH, fork off over to that shitcoin forum of ver’s or put a price in real crypto or fiat you spaznozzle

It was mainly copied and pasted from BCH Local Listings, that's why.

It's for sale for practically any of the top 10 listed coins.

There's really no need to be so rude about it.

@TryNinja thanks man really appreciate that, all working great!

@giammangiato is there an upkeep to this bot? Does it cost? I'd be happy to donate if you set up a donation fund.
24  Other / Meta / Re: [TelegramBot] Merit watcher and Mention Notification Bot on: January 10, 2020, 02:38:23 PM
I think I have it all setup correctly.

Can someone quote me in a post and then mention me as well please to see if it's working correctly.

26  Economy / Collectibles / Re: DigiPiglets.com - Bitcoin piggy bank - Gift idea for beginners and enthusiasts! on: January 10, 2020, 01:15:11 PM
Gutted I missed this.

I remember when the concept was first posted on here and I actually purchased but then was refunded because your plans changed.

Missed the kickstarter and now all sold out on your website, I would have loved to have received the bull and bear ones.

What's more devastating is the fact I probably wont get them at a good price when they do become available again.

28  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin might be over but blockchain will live on: December 17, 2019, 01:01:23 PM
After ten years and we still see people think Bitcoin will be over, I don't know how they are analyzing the situation I know OP is a newbie, but he should do a research and check if Bitcoin is really over, I hate it when people posted that Bitcoin has major flaws then go on to post a new project or coin, just promote your coin and don't create FUDS about Bitcoin.

There comes a point though when Bitcoin will reach it's pinnacle, I'm not saying we're there yet, I'm not saying Bitcoin is done, what I am saying is that, even if it's not in our lifetime, Bitcoin wont go up and up and up in value, certainly not at the rate it has been anyway.

I think there will come a time when it will steady out and any gains and or drop will be much smaller, not sure when this will happen but one day it is inevitable.

A big issue is that so many people got into BTC to make money, it was the early adopters who got into it for the tech and not many of them knew BTC would be as valuable as it is today. Modern adopters, over the past couple of years, got involved for the gains and as they've seen gains it's spread via word of mouth and more and more people have got involved.

There comes a point when that's going to die off as well, especially those who have got in over the past 12 months it's been a tricky ride. I hate to go against trends as it's shown to be unwise in the past but crypto is not like traditional markets as it's knew technology.

I actually think come this halving, it wont gain as much as people thought or hoped for or as much as previous years, even if it does it will be temporary because of the hype leading up to to that point a month or so before, FOMO may drive the price up, if it drives it up high enough it may have the potential to keep the momentum going for awhile, get more word of mouth and media attention to drive new people in and I may be wrong and that able to give it a new breath of life for awhile.

The issue is, I think Bitcoin is so massively different now than what it was when it first started, Bitcoin was never a store of value in the early day, people were using it as peer to peer electronic cash, since then it's become a store of value asset, a digital version of gold. Fees and confirmation times have been an issue for awhile it's not returned to the level of peer to peer cash for awhile now, people use BTC as their store of value and other crypto as their payment method for sending fast, cheap payments.

The problem is people have gold because it holds it's value, BTC being so volatile if it keeps dropping and doesn't keep the momentum going from it's gains, it's destined to not hold it's value. FOMO of price hikes keeps it going up at the minute, when it gains a little people think it may rocket and invest more, as they don't want to miss out and it drives the price up, people then realise it's not going up as fast as they want or the hype/momentum dies off and as a result the price drops.

In short, what I'm trying to say is that Bitcoin did so well when it came out because people were passionate about the tech, it was unique, nothing else on the market like it and it solved a problem and had a purpose, that's what brought it value and gained real ORGANIC traction, now Bitcoin has moved to a store of value where it was never really supposed to be and has a new purpose, there's coins out there doing what Bitcoin initially set out to do better and have improved upon that initial tech. I don't believe BTC has what it takes to keep going but I accept I could be wrong and people who have usually bet against BTC have ended up looking very silly. I just feel the growth we do so from time to time now, isn't really happening organically and isn't happening for the right reasons.

Like I said, despite this opinion, even if price action is being done for the wrong reasons and out of FOMO, that alone can still keep pushing BTC up and up and up for the foreseeable future, I just think there's a limit and there's only so far that can take you before it eventually comes to an end and stops. Only true, innovative, radical, useful tech can drive organic growth and sadly, I feel Bitcoin has lost it's way and isn't really any of those things anymore.

Hi,

It's nearly the end of 2019, is your roadmap still on track?

Specifically it lists Q4 as being the target date for the iOS app, I'm desperate for this, just discovered Magnum and it's the only thing I'm waiting for to switch to using this as my main wallet combined with my Trezor and Ledger.

EDIT: Also, I'd really like for you to be able to re-organise the cryptoccurncies down the left hand side of the web interface. Nothing major and doesn't effect functionality, would just be a nice UI improvement.

Really annoying that you're advertising this as instant delivery and stuff when in fact it's just a trial account and I have to wait 24 hours after purchase to get said Netflix account.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin bearish or bullish on: September 04, 2019, 12:10:20 AM
it's a tough one and depends what time length you're talking about.

Long term going off TA still bullish going off speculation it's anyone's guess really but I'd still say bullish.

Here's the thing, I stopped investing in BTC awhile ago, my logic was it's no longer the cheapest and fastest cryptocurrency out there anymore, it's quickly moved into store of value. For this reason, today's bitcoin is significantly different to Satoshi's vision. I'm not bitching about it, just stating facts, there's still a lot great about Bitcoin BUT right now I can't send payments for fractions of a penny and I can't send it within seconds, it's not scaled well.

Due to all of this, I used to think to myself 'it's literally a matter of time before people realise Bitcoin isn't worth 10k or more in it's current state, but honestly it's not about any of that anymore. I was thinking to myself, what stops people seeing gold as just a piece of useless metal, what stops money from just being a piece of paper. All of these things hold value because we humans give it value. When people first started using forms of money or precious metals, they started out as useless and valueless, they became valuable because we adopted it and agreed upon it.

The price of Bitcoin now has got that way because people have agreed upon it and keep it there, it's been holding highs of several thousands of dollars for a couple of years now, with that many people invested in Bitcoin, I think it's success and value is set in stone, I don't think it ever will reduce below the thousands line again.

So I think the future is bright for Bitcoin, despite my personal opinions or anyone else's for that matter, Bitcoin has etched itself into history and I think to bet against it would be very risky indeed.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: September 03, 2019, 11:58:22 PM
First and foremost, don't listen to anyone on here, myself included, do your own research.

Seeing so many people here recommend you invest in TRX or their altcoin of choice is worrying, but especially TRX, anyone who knows anything about Tron or Justin will know that it's sketchy as hell too much bad press and PR disasters have happened with TRX and that's reason enough for me to stay away from it. Even really early investors made money off Bitconnect, what I mean by that is these markets are irrational, even if a coin exit scams or pump and dumps, there's still a few who made money while the majority lose out. Tron may do well short term but every red flag tells me to keep away from it long term.

The lesson goes for all other altcoins as well though, nobody can tell you where or what to invest in, do your research, don't spend money you're not prepared to lose and bet on projects you're passionate about and understand, that way even if you lose, it will hurt much less.

The best advice though is to bet on the top 10 or the biggest coins/projects BTC/BCH/ETH/EOS etc etc the top 10 have always done well and are more secure than a lot of other altcoins. Sure if you want to gamble pick up the altcoins that are up and coming but the risk is huge you could lose everything.

If you're in it for the long term and can resist itchy fingers then you can't go wrong with investing in the top 10, spread the cost and buy each week regardless on whether the markets are up or down, dollar cost averaging, it will mean in the long run you should come out on top.

Best of luck mate.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Calm Before The Storm on: September 03, 2019, 11:47:28 PM
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this a terrible idea for Burger King.

I've not used Bitcoin in a long time, switched to alternatives that worked better as a form of payment as I believed Bitcoin moved firmly over into 'store of value' as opposed to daily use spender.

The last I checked though Bitcoin fees were rather high for smaller amounts and took a significant amount of time for confirmations.

I'm not bitching on Bitcoin here just genuinely wondering if it's the best crypto for this case, so many companies used to accept Bitcoin and then dropped support as time went on and it got more expensive to use and had longer confirmation times, companies weren't prepared for that so dropped it as it worked well at the start but didn't scale very well.

Anyone know where I can get some simple:

PAY WITH CRYPTO

Stickers? Everyone seems to be for a specific coin or service.

Desperatley need one that just says, pay with crypto.

Thank you for this. I really don't know how we miss that. We will have stickers with few version of "pay with" ... crypto, cryptocoins, cryptocurrencies, etc.

Again thank for pointed out that to us.

Cheers! Smiley

Thanks,

I'm working with a few businesses in my local area to get them on board with accepting cryptocurrency.

Most of them will be using CoinPayments as it accepts so many different coins and converts automatically to fiat.

I just need stickers that say pay with crypto or pay with cryptocurrency that the businesses can stick on their windows to show they accept a number of cryptocurrencies.

EDIT: One saying Crypto Accepted Here would be good too <3

20 posts for 1$? Have to how many characters in the post or comment? Any way, It's really too low. For this kind of budget, you can't expect quality post or comments. Those are like to be spamming only they might be interested.

I will negatively rate anyone who keeps trashing this thread, the price is the price, I have dozens of inboxes from people doing this for me.

Don't like the rate scroll on by there's no need for your shitty comments, this is a joke, learn about economics, what's low for you is a daily salary for others.

Wind your neck in and post elsewhere trying to increase your post count by trashing someone else's thread.

Agree. Take it or leave it guys. Simple as that.  Cool

Thank you, at least someone gets it.

I've had quite a few people posting for me and they are happy with the rates, it's not for everyone but it is what it is.

Doubt that you will find someone here who will take you offer. Users here used to receive 1-10 dollars for 10/15 posts per week. Even if you task is super easy, people are not used here for such prices.

I would advice you to search writters on freelance forums.

P.s I used to participate in signature bounty on other forum with rate “any-kind-of-3-posts-day-for-2-dollard-per-month”... Cheer-up man, you will find what you search, but on other forums

P.p.s. Please dont double post, edit your post and quote as much as you want Smiley

I get what you're saying but I'm sorry I disagree.

1) I have members posting and taking me up on this offer, I don't need dozens of people, a handful is fine so I'm happy with what I'm getting.
2) People on here search out bounties and complete tasks for them and also participate in faucets, that's way less money for equal work so I think these forums are the perfect place plus I;m paying in crypto so you know...

I appreciate your feedback and opinion but if you disagree there's no need for a debate on my thread, I don't get why people can't just scroll on.
