The fees are so crazy. I want to transfer $71 to someone and i am being charged $38 regular fee

I tried to use the custom fee and 551 sat/b is recommended which is $19.13

Maybe i will have to wait when transaction fees returns to normal

The only other idea I have is to try and download the JSON for the wallet... after you login, try entering the following into the browser URL textbox:
Code:
https://blockchain.info/wallet/YOUR-WALLET-ID?format=json

This would be something like: https://blockchain.info/wallet/594c45ac-1234-42bb-84bf-69b7b057d7c9?format=json

Hopefully, it will give you the JSON code for your wallet... but most likely, I think it'll just give you an "authorisation required" error Undecided

If that doesn't work, then all you can do is wait for Blockchain.info support to answer your ticket Sad

I tried and it displayed this message on browser https://imgur.com/a/vpaeZ
28  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Who can help contact blockchain support on: December 11, 2017, 08:02:22 PM
Which browser are you using ?
By any chance have you activated 2fa which isn't working ?
I'd suggest, clear your cache or try opening the link in a private browsing mode.If the problem persists, open up a support ticket.I don't know what feature of blockchain.info lets you 'authorise ' them with your browser.I have never come across that.

Yes i activated email 2fa and it is working, but the issue is that i cannot access the wallet dashboard
I have tried all you suggested but still same issue
29  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Who can help contact blockchain support on: December 11, 2017, 07:18:08 PM
Why not trying to recover your account with recovery seed phrase if you backup them try to recover it with this link https://blockchain.info/wallet/#/recover
There are some other people who experience the same yours and honestly i experience too what you experience but i just recover it with my seed phrase and its working again..
If you don't have any backup the only way that i think you can recover your blockchain wallet is to wait for their reply and maybe they will fix some glitches to your account.
My guess this is because of their new theme. this issue was started i think october when i heard someone looking for help but they only give solution to clear cache and history but not work..

The link you provided only supports the 12 words passpharse and i have the 17 words. Its really strange as my other blockchain wallets are woking fine except that only one

Since the first picture shows your balance, it's like a success login attempt. I'm also curious and has the same question with HCP but I never experienced that v3 wallet since I'm logging in with desktop / browser. Anyway did you tried to login through google chrome or any browser on desktop or laptop?

This is the email address that was used for reaching me out by a Blockchain.info support named Tanya "support@blockchain.zendesk.com" but I don't know if you can send directly any concern there since the first step I did was submitting a request / question here https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Yes i can login but wont let me access the wallet dashboard, it displays a message first saying Welcome to your Blockchain wallet and when i click on the Continue button, it logs me out and redirects to blockchain homepage. I have from different browsers/different computers but it is still the same issue.

The v3 message from my mobile device blockchain app when i try to login

I have reached out to blockchain via support ticket and on facebook, on twitter and still not a reply from them for over a week.

31  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Who can help contact blockchain support on: December 11, 2017, 12:37:01 PM
what happens if, after you have done the login and got to the welcome screen, instead of clicking "continue", you type:
Code:
https://blockchain.info/wallet/#/home
As the URL in the same browser window? Does it still log you out to the blockchain homepage? Or does it take you to the wallet dashboard?

I have tried that and it automaticallly logs me out https://imgur.com/a/IW3ai

I dont know what kind of issue this maybe as my other blockchain accounts are working fine
32  Economy / Web Wallets / Who can help contact blockchain support on: December 11, 2017, 06:28:09 AM
Hello Everyone,

I am having an issue with blockchain wallet, when i login it displays Welcome to your blockchain wallet, and when i click on the Continue button, the page logs out and redirects to blockchain homepage. This is the same issue with different computers i have tried and it didnt work.

I have also tried it a mobile device, it displays Creating v3 wallet and it stays like that without any further action.

I have the 17 word backup passphrase and it is not working with recovering your account since only 12 word passphrase is supported, neither does with work any any wallet to import you seed. I have contacted blockchain support if it will be possible to recover my account with it but there has no been any response for over a week. I am so concerned because i have some funds in the wallet.

Can anyone assist how i can reach blockchain support or phone number to call. Thank you

Atatched are the screenshots of the Continue button i clicked and the Creating v3 wallet on mobile device.

I'm confused... isn't that what the password and login link are for? accessing the wallet? Huh

In all honesty, if that login link it isn't working... then the only people who are going to be able to help you are Blockchain.Info support who will be able to guide you on how to regain access to your wallet.

As far as I know, the 17 word mnemonic does not allow you to recover the wallet as such, it was only a "password recovery" system.

The issue is that I am unable to access my wallet dashboard, when i login it displays Welcome to your blockchain and when i click on the Continue button, the page logs out and redirects to Blockchain homepage.

I have emailed blockchain support and there has no been response up to week, its really frustrating, I have tried my other blockchain wallets and they are working fine except that only one. This is the same on my mobile mobile, when i login, it displays Creating v3 Wallet and stays like that without any action response. There are some funds in the wallet and that is why i am so concerned.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Firstly, can you guys please learn how to edit quotes? This thread is just a giant wall of quote text! There is no need to quote the immediately preceding message in it's entirety each time you want to respond... Roll Eyes

The 17 words were from the old blockchain legacy wallet which was provided by blockchain upon signup as the backup passphrase incase to restore access to wallet and now when I want to restore the wallet blockchain.info is asking for 12 words only. It does not work with the 17 words. Any help will be appreciated
Instead of faffing about, following pointless instructions to attempt to import a 17 word mnemonic which is probably not BIP32/BIP39/BIP44 compatible... you should try using the B.info legacy wallet recovery system: https://blockchain.info/wallet/recover-wallet Wink

If you have a legacy wallet recovery mnemonic saved enter it below to view the password and login link.

The link you provided is only the view the password and the login link which i already have. My problem is how i can recover my wallet using the 17 word passphrase. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Some wallets allow you to add additional words on to the end of your 12 word phrase to make it more secure, or more personalised.

You should be able to use this seed to recover your wallet by entering it into the same client you used to create the wallet.

Ideally you should use the same wallet version too, to ensure that extended seeds are supported, as often this functionality is taken out with later updates.

Honestly, the best thing to do would be to contact the support team for the wallet, they will be able to advise you which version of the software you likely used, and provide the steps to recover it if possible.

Which wallet supports 17 words passphrase and by adding additional words? I have written to blockchain support on this issue but they have not responded for like a week.

They might take up to a week. Normally, they should reply within 72 hours, did you wait that time?
A large number of bip39 accepting wallets can be used. Including electrum.org/#download.
You have to select:
1. Select standard wallet
2. I already have a seed
3. Enter your seed
4. Click options and tick Bip39
5. The derivation path is probably m/0'/0

Yes i waited up to a week
I have just tried with electrum but it was showing 0 BTC
After No 4.
Where do i enter? The derivation path is probably m/0'/0
Is it the BIP44 Account Number?

Yes if it doesn't work with the default (bip44) one then put it in that field instead of the m/44'/0'/0 that was previously there.

The default account number is 0, which didnt work
When i put in m/0'/0
The Next button turns grey and not clickable
How do i put it?

That's normally a checksum failure. Try putting it as m/44'/0'/0 and see how that works.

Although, if they haven't replied after a week, maybe it's not possible to do.

Ok i have downloaded the last version of electrum and tried it
I saw only BIP39 instead BIP44
But when i check BIP39 seed and enter my seed, It shows BIP39 (unknown wordlist)
Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Hello,

I have been unable to access my blockchain wallet, when i login it displays Welcome to your blockchain and when i click on the Continue button, the page logs out and redirects to blockchain homepage, I have cleared cookies/history and even tried on different browsers but it was same result. I also tried on a different computer and on a mobile device but it was all same result. Quite Starnge while my other blockchain wallet are working fine.

I have the 17 word backup passphrase,

Please how can I update it to the 12 word passphase so I can access my account.

Kindly assist. Thank you

Have you tried copying the 17 words into the 12 word seed box? As you can add extra words to get the regular 12/13 word seed even more secure.

Where did these 17 words come from if not, did you have a download from their site with it? Is the 17 word password one you generated yourself as a secondary password (if so that may be why you can't get your coins).

The 17 words were from the old blockchain legacy wallet which was provided by blockchain upon signup as the backup passphrase incase to restore access to wallet and now when I want to restore the wallet blockchain.info is asking for 12 words only.
