Looking at the draw after the end of the group stage, the teams I think to reach quarter finals are Spain, Germany, Portugal, France, Netherlands, Austria, England and Switzerland.

Spain should be just fine with beating Georgia but I appreciate Georgia's determination to reach last 16 phase despite joining a Euro for the first time in history.    

I don't like Denmark now. They aren't playing like in Euro 2020. Germany should be able to beat them nicely while they are in good shape. I liked Switzerland so far unlike Italy. I think they have the strength to advance.  

Portugal, England and Netherlands have easy work on paper. Austria outweigh Turkey too. If Turkey don't defend better, which doesn't seem likely to me already, then Austria wouldn't be forgiving considering how strong they are.

Belgium are just done.    The golden generation is long gone. I don't expect them to hold off France even though I didn't like France's game very much so far.

Hopefully Barcelona will still play well and be able to compete and still reach the top class. I don't doubt that on the other hand, I doubt next season whether they will be able to compete with the minimum number of players, plus several of their important players are injured, plus they also don't have  key players as you mentioned, at least the hope of all Barcelona people can fight until the end of the season no matter what level they finish in.

Ancelotti would never want to sign for Manchester United or any other team from now on. Unless Real Madrid sacks him of course which doesn't seem likely to me. Because he has already stated that he wants to retire at Real Madrid.

When it comes to Guardiola, we don't know when he will leave Manchester City for now. He has closed the door for Barcelona by a recent statement he made but maybe he might be keen on working with another big team. Even if Manchester United targets him to sign one day, they had better be prepared to build the whole squad according to his system. 

Coming back to ten Hag, this might be his last season depending on team performance. I would like him to be successful though as I don't think he is a bad manager actually.

It did test the support line of $61,500, unfortunately it did fail and it drop to $60,500. Still not a bad thing though, for those daily traders, they might have been hurt with the down trend but most likely try to buy more and trade it later.

Yes, in my opinion we cannot compare Leverkusen with Napoli because Napoli performed impressively in the 2022/2023 season but then their performance became very bad in the 2023/2024 season. Leverkusen has a genius coach like Xabi Alonso and I am sure he will be able to bring Leverkusen back to competing at a high level. Leverkusen has a weakness in one-on-one play and it was visible when Atalanta implemented highpress man to man marking tactics. But I'm sure Alonso knows his team's weaknesses and will make several player purchases in this transfer window. I'm not sure Leverkusen will go undefeated again next season. But Leverkusen will still be able to win the Bundesliga and may also be able to reach the UCL knockout stage.

How much would Napoli spend for Lukaku anyway? I think it would be reasonable to just let Lukaku go in this way. Osimhen is just the kind of a striker Chelsea would make use of. He is very productive and reliable, not even mentioning how young he is.    Normally I thought Conte had plans with Osimhen too but maybe he just didn't want to keep him by force. Conte and Lukaku know and like each other so I think Conte would motivate him to play decently too.

In the encounter Germany needed  draw, and they got it to top the ground A, it was a very difficult game for them, the Switzerland is a very good team,  well organised in the defence and Germany finds it very hard to penetrate it. The late minute goal gave Germany and edge to escape Spain in thr knockout stage.  Switzerland will have to wait for the game between Italy vs Croatia to know their next opponent in the round of 16.

Italy will qualify to the next stage, i don't see Croatia winning this game,  they had not won any game in the competition,  they played poorly and Italy are really in form. It will be interesting game but I'll stake on Italy to win.

Enzo Maresca has really received a very big challenge as he now fills the hot seat at Stamford Bridge. Maresca must be able to take advantage of pre-season which is the beginning of his adaptation process with Chelsea players. The Italian man also inherited several talented young players after the death of Pochettino who was fired. Management and fans certainly really hope for big changes to their favorite team and be able to compete with top teams. I think that if instant demands continue to be desired then Maresca is likely to be a manager who will be fired again in the near future. Todd and the fans should be patient and support every coach's policies in order to create a harmonious atmosphere that will have an impact on the team.

Glad I am not the only one who noticed that everything have changed for Barcelona and I really cannot figure out what it is. By quality of players, they have a wonderful squad that can match any team but the result is not showing. See the way the performed so bad last season with no major trophy and even fighting Girona to retain the second position. What I find so confusing is the fact that Xavi could not do the magic. He was part of the Barcelona team that did wonderfully well and won good trophies in the past so if there is anyone that is best for the team, it ought to be him. But it seems he has not been able to build a team that is physically and mentally ready to push Barcelona to the strong and feared team they used to be.

Every coach has a different game scheme and Conte is no different. Antonio Conte is known for his eccentric 3-5-2 and 3-4-3 formation styles. He is also known to be firm and does not beat around the bush during training and matches. I feel confident that Conte will be able to lift Napoli's performance which has slumped. The coach who was successful with Juventus and Chelsea will also bring in several new players to adapt to the standards he applies. Maybe Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia will still be relied on in the front line, but he will focus more on improving the defense and the two wings because if we look at the previous team he also made improvements in that position.

Of course, if many players fit Arteta's style then it will improve on last season's struggles. Arteta lost points in matches with mid-ranked teams. It happened last season, even Arsenal could not take advantage of Man City's mistakes because they also made mistakes. Next season there will be a lot of changes, I think the league will be even more difficult.
