Well, the excitement will start to get even more exciting in the round of 16. Because at that stage strong teams will face other strong teams. but for the Belgium vs France match, I think France will be the favorite for the majority of us. That is quite the statement and now that we have seen so many surprises in all those Euro 2024 games, how can you draw the conclusion that there is only one interesting game? Do you mean because you only like these two teams or do you mean because the results are already set in stone for all other games? If the latter is true, how about you give your picks here and we come back later and check how many of them you got right?

Spain - Georgia: very interesting game and while I think that this is indeed quite clear, it is always nice to watch an underdog like Georgia fighting Goliath. Until against Portugal, I haven't seen any Georgia games, but I have to say that these guys can play football. They are no amateurs and they can defend.

Germany - Denmark: should be a game for Germany and they are the home team, but it will be a close game.

Portugal - Slovenia: again a team that knows how to defend and play a very fierce style. Will be much harder for Portgual than it looks.

France - Belgium: both teams suck quite hard at the moment. Belgium can't beat Ukraine and France can't beat Poland. Both played for the group stage win and yet couldn't succeed.

Romania - Netherlands: again an interesting game because Romania has these comeback qualities and everything they do comes straight from the heart whole the Netherlands are trying to play with more structure and strategy. Two very different approaches to the game.

Austria - Türkiye: Austria is one of the strongest teams of the group stage, which I didn't expect like that. Türkiye is quite weak and I think this should end in a win for Austria. But could be very close again.

England - Slovakia: England barely beat Serbia, tied the game against Denmark and tied the game against Slovenia. I have no clue what to think about them. Slovakia is not without chances. England was supposed to be the biggest favorite I think alongside France, but this is not what a favorite looks like.

Switzerland - Italy: probably the toughest game. Switzerland has delivered an awesome game against Germany and they have shown how dangerous they can be. Italy can never be written off with their last minute goal. That's going to be a tough and close one.

The knockout matches has been determined and the toughest game would be between France and Belgium where I believe France would advance.
Spain, Germany, Portugal, Netherlands, Turkiye, England and Italy would be the favorites in their respective competition but nothing can be said sure specially during knockouts.

Well said mate, nothing can be too sure  or certain especially with what I have been seeing from the recent results of this tournament. Well like you said the toughest game would have been France against Belgium but so far this two teams have been nothing else but an utter disappointment in terms of their performance and I wouldn't be surprised if they were winner at the end of 90 and even extra time and penalty shoot was the decider.

Belgium might give a tough fight against France in this tournament, but I think they won't be able to win against France. Although the game between Belgium and France will be much more interesting and both teams will try hard enough to win. However, if the French team is strong in attack in advance, then of course Belgium will lose. And if France and Belgium can't finish in 90 minutes and collect a good result, then it will definitely go to penalties. And the France team will definitely win because the players of the Belgium team are not likely to get disappointed, that's why I want to see the favorite team to win.

Well, lukaku and mbappe were the big disappointments in belgium and france. Lukaku was too often missed the ball because of his terrible positioning. And mbappe has not looked steadily performed. Lukaku and mbappe had no a great opening game in euro 2024, and they still struggled since. Mbappe scored his first goal through penalty and he had no impact at all in france attack. 
I can't really think. if france vs belgium will be an attractive game considering how struggled the performance of their attackers last game. A clear drop was shown by mbappe and lukaku.

Perhaps Ukraine did not allow them to do this? I’m surprised why Ukraine played the first match so poorly, and even more surprised that the team with 4 points was left without the playoffs, and the fact that Slovakia were ahead them in the table, which lost to them. But France became Belgium's rivals, I'm not sure that anyone will be able to beat them, despite the fact that France had a very weak group stage, for me they are all one of the favorites of the tournament. And Georgia is the least fortunate, because Spain looks gorgeous.

Portugal's defeat against Georgia was quite surprising to me. Because initially I predicted that Portugal would definitely be able to win this match easily. I don't like Denmark now. They aren't playing like in Euro 2020. Germany should be able to beat them nicely while they are in good shape. I liked Switzerland so far unlike Italy. I think they have the strength to advance.  

Portugal, England and Netherlands have easy work on paper. Austria outweigh Turkey too. If Turkey don't defend better, which doesn't seem likely to me already, then Austria wouldn't be forgiving considering how strong they are.

Belgium are just done.    The golden generation is long gone. I don't expect them to hold off France even though I didn't like France's game very much so far.

Ukraine's performances against Slovakia and Belgium were very good. Ukraine's defenders performed well against Belgium. However, Ukraine's defense performed poorly against Romania in the first match. Despite Ukraine trying to dominate the match against Romania, poor performances from the defenders resulted in Ukraine losing the match by a large margin.

Against Romania, Ukraine's players had 72% of the ball possession. Made a total of 13 shots. On the other hand, Romania's players were able to make 9 shots with 28% ball possession. So don't be surprised if the France vs Belgium match will not be interesting. For me, national teams that are not considered exciting will be much more likely to present surprises, Austria vs Turkey, England vs Slovakia where England, who lack tactics, will face difficulties, Southgate will soon be fired due to his failure. If you watched the game, there would be times when Belgium created wonderful opportunities but failed to capitalize. Belgium also launched a proper counterattack at times, but it was squandered due to their attackers' failure to respond. 
Lukaku was the biggest disappointment for Belgium against Ukraine; he squandered some golden opportunities.

It's not a joke or not, but we also have to be realistic, Belgium didn't show a good performance in the group phase so in terms of strength France is better than them so I don't think that Belgium can stop France's progress.

Austria is currently stronger than ever and to be honest I don't see any chance for Turkey to beat our team because today they only managed to win against the Czechs by a narrow margin, even though they played 70 minutes with one red card.

Austria surprised by beating the Netherlands but I'm not discouraged by Turkey because this team still deserves to win in this knockout round, maybe it can be said that the team is balanced because Turkey is also a team that cannot be underestimated.

At least with a 2-1 Czech win it's better than nothing, I know the Czechs were down to 10 men but Turkey seemed to struggle a bit but in the final game Turkey scored their winner, more disappointed that Portugal lost even though they had qualified early.
