My asus strix 1080ti gets me about 780sols, but I run them on pw limit 105, core +150 and memory +550. When i set OC on my Assus Strix 1080Ti 100% power limit, +100 core i got power loss after a few second and i need to reset my PC? did you have that problem and where are you from? use --telemetry=your_rig_ip:network_port example Will bind all your local ip of the rig to port 4444, it will make webui and json available on those local ip/port combo --telemetry=192.166.1.200:4444 To specify an ip of your rig instead of bind all. Be aware that the numbers are rounded down - so a value of 0.99 may actually be something like 0.9999.. i.e. 99.9999...%. how can i setup webui? and when i go to json-rpc file in miner its empty when i set --telemetry and my IP that comes in IPv4 Address and my port it wont work? |

You do realise you have to pay 2% for this miner, when EWBF is free is you have the no fee option, you dont lose any speed either.
My GTX 1060 with same settings on EWBF was around 300 Sols, with dstm has ~330 at 85% +155 core and +700 mem. GTX 1080 Ti was 730-750 on EWBF but here is more 740-750+. So i think that 2% is ok and this miner will be updated so i expect better performance etc. |

~ 3% for 1080 Ti and 10% for 1060. Could be possible. The dstm miner seems to be faster for some modes (like high-power high OC modes) and same or even slower for other (low voltage etc). Check the pool side hashrate though as well. I tried with my Asus Strix 1080 Ti 70% TDP +100 core mem 0 and i got around 600 and i think it was 150 or 180W i dont know for sure now but it was 3.8-3.9 Effection hash on miner. i just got asus strix gtx 1080 Ti and on 80% TDP, core +100 mem +300 i got around 720-740 Sol/s ( 220-230W ) on Zcash.
I have a little problem with OC at 100% tdp +100 core. i have power loss and it start to hit 300 sols i need to reset pc so i only can do 85%tdp +100core and +300 memory.
That Strix card is already close to its max from the factory, when you add +100 at the stock 100% PL it's probably just too much for it so it crashes the driver. After a crash like this it often defaults to some kind of "emergency" mode and that's why you're getting 300 sols unless you reboot. What settings whould you recommend for me? |

I am looking to buy a new gaming pc and do not care about electricity cost. Wanna learn more about mining and crypto.
I have searched the net but couldn't quite find what I was looking for... I am ready to do my homework and research
but I ask you, do you have good links/sources where I can read about mining equipment for home users.
Donīt wanna build big rig, just hobby mine on gaming PC. I was thinking of Monero or other Altcoin, no coins with ASIC activated.
Red that the 1080Ti is quite good, but that is just one part of the PC...

if you want just PC for gaming i think you need just 1 GPU, so GPU is most important part in that. ok thanks. And the 1080ti is good right? Memory DOES make a difference on equihash - though not a big one on the 1080 ti.
On my Aorus (not the extreme), I found that +100 core +100 memory was the best setting for speed/efficiency that was stable - +150 memory gave a few more sol/s but wasn't long-term stable as those cards seem to push the memory pretty hard already, +200 memory gave me LOWER sol/s probably because it pushed the card up into the next "strap" range with higher latency settings.
50% TDP (125 watts) gave 505 hash - don't bother this is a waste of the card.
60% TDP (150 watts) gave 620 hash - this seems to be the best efficiency point that still has decent hashrate.
70% TDP (175 watts) gave 680 hash - efficiency dropping but not a LOT yet
80% TDP (200 watts) gave 725 hash - efficiency dropoff getting noticeable
90% TDP (225 watts) gave 760 hash - ditto
100% TDP (250 watts) gave 780 hash - waste of power unless you have VERY VERY cheap power, and even then it's a bit iffy - though the cards still runs pretty cool at this setting as long as it's NOT in a hot room.
Other cards may vary, though all of the cards I have to date (1 Gigabyte Windforce, 1 EVGA SC, pair of Aorus) all seem to match nearly identically up to about the 80% point, then the EVGA and Windforce start dropping a bit as temp doesn't let them boost the core as much.
I tried to reinstall my drivers, i put 100% TDP +100 core and +300 memory, got 770-780 Sol/s and when i start skype and chrome its go to 300 sol/s GPU-Z show power consuption 50-60% and it wont come back i need to reset PC. 85% TDP +100 clock +300 mem i got 730-750 Sol/s. You dont mine on 100% power.. Lower the power to 70% and incease core to +100. Memory is irrelevant for equihash.
yea, then i get around 700 sol/s i dont need to worry about wats, it is to cheap for me. i wanna best sol/s i can get from card. Power limit 104% Core clock: +60 mem clock: +200 i get around 750-760 Sol/s edit: i just set my Power Limit to 85% core: +100 mem: +300 getting 730-750 Sol/s watts 220-230, before i had 270w, temp is 62C and 1820RPM is fans http://prntscr.com/hfb52y |
