Take a look at Gigabyte Aorus series also - they have got the most reliable fans comparing to all others.
That's a bold statement. Seriously though, there doesn't seem to been enough data yet to figure out who's got the most reliable fans, the 1080 Ti cards just haven't been in service long enough. Any double-bearing fan is alright. Asus actually claims that their fans have some extra protection from dust, so a serious contender as well. And their Strix 1080 Ti is among the best air cooled cards.

I willn`t affirm it with 100% confidence but it`s my experience of use.

Looks are deceiving. I don't have the Aorus 1080 Ti, but I do have both Aorus Xtreme 1080 and Palit 1080 SJS and Gamerock cards. Aorus looks cool with its 3 fans and the copper plate on the back, but the simpler looking Palits have lower temps @ ~ the same noise level. Aorus's pads are leaking with oil like an old car, and Palits are all 100% dry. And it`s hashrate better to. Hashrates at this point have nothing do to with the card being a Palit or an Aorus, both cards have ~ the same cooling capacity so the hashrate will solely depend on how lucky you are in the silicon lottery.

Absolutely agree with in everything, but one thing: my 7 x Aorus 1080ti do not leak at all. Maybe that is because I put 2 x 45mm fans underneath the rig and GPU temps never went higher than 70C.

They might have changed the compound they use for thermal pads, maybe it's not the same now as it was with their regular 1080s. If that's the case then good to know, thanks.

Power limit 70 Core +150 Mem +550
I am stuck at around 580-600 sol/s
What are the actual clocks? 600 sol/s seems low for a 1080 Ti, but we've no idea what your +150 @ 70% TDP means, just post the actual clocks.

What is everyone mining right now? Looking to mine an alt coin with my 1080ti reference card. Massive overclock though.

I tried with my Asus Strix 1080 Ti 70% TDP +100 core mem 0 and i got around 600 and i think it was 150 or 180W i dont know for sure now but it was 3.8-3.9 Effection hash on miner. Dont care about electricity have my card on 85% +100 +300 got around 720-740 Sol/s 68C MAX and fans are on 1800 RPM on both my card GTX 1060 Asus Dual and that Strix 1080 Ti, i dont know how to seperate fan speed if i set it to manual if they go to 70% then my fans triger at 55% BTW i just seen dstm's miner for Zcash, is it better that EWBF's ? anyone know? how can i setup backup pool if flypool stop working so my miner dont stop? my settigns right now is: miner --server eu1-zcash.flypool.org --port 3333 --user t1SJiaRuQgjTYCsRAf9G13cyCyzWnXHPska.rig1 --pass --eexit 3 --tempunits C --templimit 82 --log 1 --solver 0 --pec

i dont know how to seperate fan speed if i set it to manual if they go to 70% then my fans triger at 55%
If you're using MSI AB there's a way to control the fan speed based on temperature (settings => Fan => Enable user defined...), you're just making a curve and all your cards will be trying to maintain the temps you set there. BTW i just seen dstm's miner for Zcash, is it better that EWBF's ? anyone know?
There's a whole separate thread for that miner on this forum. It works better for some cards (and users), and about the same as EWBF for others. Just try it and see for yourself.

~ 3% for 1080 Ti and 10% for 1060. Could be possible. The dstm miner seems to be faster for some modes (like high-power high OC modes) and same or even slower for other (low voltage etc). Check the pool side hashrate though as well.

What are the actual clocks? 600 sol/s seems low for a 1080 Ti, but we've no idea what your +150 @ 70% TDP means, just post the actual clocks. GPU run at 1656Mhz Mem at 1514Mhz Directly when i start the miner i see speeds at around 680-700 but after just a few minutes it slow down to just below 600 :/ I tried with my Asus Strix 1080 Ti 70% TDP +100 core mem 0 and i got around 600 and i think it was 150 or 180W i dont know for sure now but it was 3.8-3.9 Effection hash on miner. Thanks, i will try it out

600 sol/s is expected for these clocks, they're pretty low. Directly when i start the miner i see speeds at around 680-700 but after just a few minutes it slow down to just below 600 :/ Probably due to temperatures. Check the clocks and temps when you start the mining (and it's doing 680-700) and a few minutes later (when it goes below 600). If it's overheating (and throttling) then you might work around it by increasing the fan speed.

What Driver is everyone on? I tried skimming through some of the newer posts to see if anyone started mining with the latest 388.31 drivers but haven't seen anyone talk about it yet.
I'm on 384 using Skein, but just for practice, getting about 950 Mh/s per card, I'd like to get into other algo's later.
Using 1080 TI Asus STRIXX Overclocked version.

I don't remember bad drivers from nvidia, so the latest is usually the best option (and sometimes also the fastest for some miners, sp-mods for example often work better with the latest drivers). I'm running 388.31 on a couple of rigs and don't have any problems with them.
