21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your favourite coin and token ? on: August 29, 2020, 09:33:21 AM
Currently I am holding ethereum but I plan on selling it sooner or later.
I chose ethereum because it is promising, the development continues even after a couple of years that it was launched. Especially right now, v2 is coming, it is possible that it will trigger the price of ethereum to its new ath, so after I sold my ethereum, I plan on buying again once the price of ethereum will fall.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE STILL GET THE 2017 BULL IN THIS 2020? on: August 28, 2020, 08:46:03 PM
We have seen series of predictions in the last three months when bitcoin had its last halving. The prices kept rising until two weeks ago.
Now that the prices are falling again, when will the time like 2017 be experienced again in the cryptocurrencies community.
Prices are not falling. As we can see, even if its price suddenly go down below $12k, it keeps on holding at $11.5k. It is still higher than its previous price which is only around $10k.

To answer your question of when will the time like 2017 will happen again? That is something that no one can answer, but that is definitely gonna happen soon as it is expected that maybe at the end of this year or maybe early 2021, the expected bull run will happen.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: August 24, 2020, 10:06:39 PM
I don't see anything you can do about a dead coin. A dead coin is a dead coin, you just have to move on to some other projects that are solid may be you can get back your loss from other projects. We all need to be sure before making any investment.
Yes, aside from being a dead coin, it has no exchange. If there is no exchange, it only means that the coin has no value at all. Meaning, he can't either sell it in an exchange or do P2P. No one will be willing to buy a coin with no value.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason hunters dump reward as soon as received. Trust Exchange etc on: August 23, 2020, 10:46:30 PM
The bounty hunter only gets a small reward, I don't think Dump happened because of the bounty hunter,
it's natural that we as bounty hunters sell it, because we also need money, don't always blame the bounty hunter!
You're correct, the fact that even the bounty hunters need money to sustain their families will compels them to get involve in dumping their rewards after token listed on cryptocurrency exchange. Those without any other sources of income won't hold their tokens and watch them become $1 or above. Projects had always made allocation for all the campaigns and those for their bounty don't always have weight, so, what they gave to bounty hunters can't crash the market per we.
No other reason, only because bounty hunters also needs money, they sell their coins to make use of the reward.

Exactly, most of the time, the total allocated for bounty campaign on amounts to 1-2% of the total supply, there is no way it affects the market if that 1-2% will be distributed to all of the bounty participants.

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: August 23, 2020, 10:16:12 PM
This topic already discussed a lot and there is nothing to change no matter how many times we talk about it. Sure, everyone would love to have USDT stablecoin in their hand for bounty works but let not forget only a few prestige projects could afford that kind of payment in their bounty.
Yes, bounty hunters would have loved it if this will ever happen, but seems to be impossible since the bounty rewards are coming from the money they have collected. They don't have the capability to spend a lot of money just to pay bounty hunters, what they want is to get all the invested money all by themselves.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best protfolio tracker on: August 23, 2020, 09:38:13 PM
I have been using blockfolio since 2018, the app can be installed through playstore or appstore. It is user friendly and very convenient to use since it has almost every coin in the market. There are also some features like choosing an exchange to see the value of your holdings. I think, this is also the most used of crypto users.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Always consider and be a wise investor! on: August 23, 2020, 09:06:55 PM
the point is if you want to invest in any project, the first thing you need to do is research more about the project, then continue about what products they want to offer to the market and ensure as much as possible about them be it the developer and team background, the product , investors, project partners and the communities in it.
Yes, and even if you have done your research, you should still continue to think more before investing. Because rushing into things will only make it difficult to make an accurate decisions that might lead to failure. There are things we should set to ourselves before we invest. This will help to avoid unnecessary actions when investing.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: August 23, 2020, 08:30:10 PM
My reason is the same as you, OP.
Though, I don't hold coins coming from bounty but the reason is that, I want to buy a coin which has a lot more potential. Like the top crypto in the market. I divided it to my top choice and that is what I hold, I hold it until the price reach my expectation and sell it one at a time.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: August 23, 2020, 01:59:23 PM
Easy to say for someone with computer skills. Remember not all people investing in cryptocurrencies are fortunate enough to have an education in the computer and information technology sector and for them to be programmers. That is why there are many of us who do these kinds of bounties, whether small or big (but mostly small bounties), because this is the stuff we are comfortable doing. So carry on bounty hunters and do not be discouraged.
Yes, since every individual people have their own fields. This kind of suggestion is only applicable to the people who have skills with computer or the people who have a better understanding and interest with computer. That's why bounty hunters tend to do bounty hunting than being a programmer or a developer that we do not even understand at all.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: August 22, 2020, 11:54:44 PM
AFAIK, crypto ratings are being paid to give a positive rating for a certain project. Even those project that is not good enough is receiving a good feedback because of money. I do not believe in crypto ratings because of that reason, there are so many victims of a scam and fake projects.
I don't believe crypto rating websites as you do. The best profits are in new altcoins, but all new altcoins aren't good. We shouldn't believe in crypto rating but we can get some information from those websites. At least I have a top listed name to verify by my technique.
Information like what? If you don't believe in crypto ratings then why do you still use it as a source of information? I don't think that it is a good idea since it can lead you to having a lot of false information. Why not try to avoid it if in the first place, you don't believe the crypto ratings.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Governments cannot control Bitcoin on: August 22, 2020, 11:28:56 PM
We should treat governments carefully and hope they eventually see the benefits of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a whole to come to accept it.

It will happened as there are developed countries who already embracing this system, sooner or later more and more government
will acknowledge and start accepting this process currency.
Yes, especially right now that everyone can see the value of e-money. There is a possibility that most countries will see that crypto is very useful not only in doing transaction, as an investment, and many more. Hopefully, they will soon to acknowledge and start to accept bitcoin as it serves a lot of use in our current situation.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: August 22, 2020, 04:41:25 PM
Please there's something I really want to understand about this crypto industry because at times as a newbie in this cryptocurrency industry you might get this wrong by making more mistakes in crypto. Does crypto name really matter before it become successful?

Name does not really matters.. If name really matters then, bitcoin cash should be the 2nd largest cryptocurrency. Simply because its name is related to bitcoin's Name. And Bitcoin is the largest cryptocurrency. But BCH is not even top 5 according to coinmarketcap
No, name really matters. Name is the public figure or what will be its face to be recognized in the market. About bitcoin cash, not because it has the name of bitcoin, it also mean that it will be the next largest crypto. They do have a different function, and as an individual, we know that bitcoin forks are just considered as shitcoin since they only claim the name of bitcoin and always say that they are the real bitcoin which we all know that it is just a lie.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: August 22, 2020, 04:01:41 PM
Guys, do you think that ICOs could make a come back? I do and here is why. Every year dozens of companies raise money in Silicon Valley for startups, many pre revenue. Also, with the economy injured from nCov19, it would make sense to allow for new economies. This would include letting new startups in Blockchain raise money, and imo if they are well vetted, and trusted by the community, they should be allowed to raise money. What do you think?
Quite difficult. It's true that Still there are so many ICOs are available in market but most of them get failed and get scammed. A few are able to get successful but price is getting down. So trusting on ICOs is not a wise decision. No chance to buy ico project
ICO is bad investment right now because many scammer try to get and make ICO project without responsibility for listing on exchange market, we can't trust with ICO owner right now they left much investor money and never bring back their coin with good price and good exchange for listing.
ICO seem to be being forgotten and will definitely be difficult to attract as before. However, in recent times a lot of potential ICO projects for investors and are starting to return. Of course, investors have become smarter, and they always check carefully when choosing to invest. I'm not sure about the future of ICO, but I believe that ICO will be an integral part of the crypto market.
As i said, its hard to find out good ico project. ICOs are still risky cause main scamming process is still same. ICOs launched by scammers  and after token sell you don't have anything to do if they wouldn't add their project on any exchange
And one more thing is that, there are only a few ico nowadays. Most of them are now IEO. So, it means that you can't really find a good ico project. The only ico project that remains are the one that still not improved. Meaning, it is either their intention is to scam or they are not good enough to make something new or changes for their project.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you remember what $ETH caused from 2016 -2017? on: August 22, 2020, 03:30:19 PM
I think Ethereum will never hit 1k price mark again. there are lots of competitions. the new project are waxing strong Tron, solana, DOT, elrond and a host of others. i also think that the current price movement in ethereum  is because of the DEFI season we are in. the fall of defi will lead to the second demise of ethereum. it might crash more after.
Why can't it go up 1000 $? If Bitcoin can break its ATH then I believe ETH will go up to $ 1000 soon too. ETH is the top altcoin in this market, so it will always grow, the problem is how long we need to wait for it
How do you say so? Just because bitcoin can break its new ath doesn't mean that eth will also do the same thing. I can't find any reason how and why eth will increase just because bitcoin will also increase. Is it because you believe that eth is following the price of bitcoin? That whenever bitcoin rises, ethereum does too?
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: August 21, 2020, 06:37:46 AM
There so many projects popping out and most of them are there for money. This is the fact in this industry with so many new project you have to really be wary of in choosing one to invest. Money and greed for those who creates without purpose. So we have to be choosy prior investing these days.
yes, we don't see any other reason but only for money. They continue to make new projects because they want to make an easy money out of their investors. Even if the project is really useless and full of shit, as long as they gather investors and make money, they will do the project.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quality Projects Revival on: August 16, 2020, 10:06:26 PM
If they are gonna revive their old project and modify it,
Isn't it much better if they will just create a new one to have a better start. Since they already failed before, it only means that the investors are not interested in the whole project, if they will just modify it, there is a higher chance that they will also fail today if they only modify it without changing the whole project's idea.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about XRP now? on: August 16, 2020, 02:04:14 PM
For me it is already a dead coin, I didnīt hear about any XRP progress for about 1 year. While Ethereum developing the most advanced blockchain solution: Ethereum 2.0. Tron comes with Tron 4.0 update that will allow use of smart-contracts anonymously. IOTA even they have a huge problem continuously developing more decentralized DAG technology. But XRP? Nothing.

You are right. Ripple is not concentrating much either on the development, or on the adoption. The promoters (Jed McCaleb, Chris Larsen, Brad Garlinghouse.etc) are interested only in making money for themselves and they have shown hardly any appreciation for the original concept of cryptocurrency. Initially there was a lot of hype, after a few reported deals with some of the banks. But for the past few years, there have been no improvement in this sector.
I think they have a reason for that.
But we can see that xrp is still running good in the market, its price is still moving forward and it continues to maintain its position as one of the top altcoins. It means that, it is not dead yet because it is still in function. What a dead coin does is continue to drop its price just like a useless thing for everyone.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or there are others who have same thoughts? on: August 16, 2020, 01:08:25 PM
Maybe it was just you with that thinking. There are both good and bad bounty projects. Of course, after the bounty promotion end, a bad project would lose its hype and got dump not matter if the dev want or not. Don't fall for the hype and research to make sure you join in a good bounty project.
This reminds me of the Electroneum bounty, when the bounty is distributed it has no effect at all on the price, instead the price of ETN actually rises
maybe some projects do dump but it depends on the developer of the project
Well, just like what he said, it is still depends on the project if it is good enough or not. If you participated in a good bounty project, then it will have no effect as the project will make sure that the price of the coin will not drop, instead, they will do their best to increase its value. If you participated in a bad project, the team itself will be the one to drop its price for their own benefit.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: August 16, 2020, 03:40:05 AM
I can answer this. This happened to our place before, an obvious scam and people are still throwing themselves into it. The return they were promising is crazy impossible for a regular business to give, it was obvious from a mile away that it was a scam. But even so people were posting things like "willing to be scammed" on this investment schemes. What i got from this is that it doesnt matter if it is as obvious as day, the crazy amount of return will always be shinier than the plaque that says "This is a scam."
To make it simple,
Every individual always hope for an easy return of money or making an easy money. So, they prefer to do the easiest way without knowing if it is legitimate or not. They are always willing to risk everything they got without a single security of having the return. This is the obvious reason why people still fall as a victim to obvious scam.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects and their unreal excuses on: August 16, 2020, 12:42:06 AM
some projects have become a scam projects and make covid19 as excuses. they abandoned their projects. also their token price in matket was dumped, once again they use covid19 as excuse. i agree with you, they can complete the project via online, they will create the digital products in the end anyway.

What about those that have already collect fund from investors and stop development with the excuse of pandemic and that there is no way they could reach to their technical team. Some of them.in the process squander the money of investors and do nothing at the end.
It is just the same, they make lots of excuses just to enjoy the collected money for themselves. They don't even bother to continue their project or make any developments by using the pandemic as their excuse. This is the common scenario we have right now, investors have nothing to do for it since they already have all the money in their hands.
