In other news.....Ethereum is being smashed downwards mercilessly today.

Am I alone in thinking that this is the true beginning of the demise of bitcoin?
 Undecided

Nope, we will probably find a bottom somewhere but I don't know how low it will go.

The problem is that we are slowly going down for weeks now.

This is no flash-crash with a correction a few days after as usual, its a continous down-trend.

Hence my question....thanks for the sensible reply.

Have you just bought this account?

Someone of your vintage should be exactly like this right now -

Can you sell accounts then?
Anyone want to buy mine?

The Google announcement that it's taking a stand against advertisements on the internet that promote cryptocurrencies from June has caused the crash in my opinion.
Facebook already did it and we all know the people behind Google and Facebook and what interests they want to protect and who for.

the IRS started sending out letters to Coinbase users telling them coins they bought for pennies require thousands of dollars in taxes on even if they used the coins to do something like buy a pizza before the price went up.

Do you have any evidence to go with with your assertion, or are you just doubling down on your fever dreams?

Probably about as much evidence as his delusional Jewish conspiracy nonsense....
Nothing delusional about his Jewish thoughts.
It's happening. Wake up.

In my humble opinion, Bitcoin will be at around $1,000 before the month is out.
The banksters saw it as a huge threat and bought it for fun with their printed paper at any price pushing it to the heights it reached.
Now, they are dumping it all back at cheaper and cheaper prices. This will continue until bitcoin is totally insignificant.
The world is run by Luciferians........They didn't get where they are by being stupid.
The party is over.
They have done much the same thing to precious metals over the last 5 years too.
Their printed paper will always rule sadly.

Give me the drugs tonyq.

My drug is the red pill....yours is obviously the blue one.

You know matrix was made by two zionist jews?

Yes. it's well known they love to flaunt the truth in full view.
They get off on it.
Luciferians.

Use your heads guys.
The same people that bought at any price to send it through the roof are now dumping continually to get the price down to nothing.
I'll give you a clue who they are. They own all the world's banks and print money for fun.
They saw bitcoin as a threat....they are taking it out as you watch.

About 40 percent of bitcoin is held by perhaps 1,000 users

Got any data to go with your wild assertion?

Not that I think you're _wrong_, mind you. I just think you're spouting nonsense. I bet you never questioned where you heard that 'statistic'. amirite?

Bloomberg is the source.
I feel they are trustworthy.

This just appeared in the British press.
Could affect the price as the news spreads.
