I just do not believe with the Free vpn's.
Nothing is truly free, and if you're using a VPN their probably snooping on your data.

Due to the nature of bitcoin it's kind of impossible to know how many people use it.

My question has been answered, thanks everyone.

Perhaps when Litecoin gets Segwit then it will be easier to get Segwit passed in bitcoin and the transactions will speed up.

This discussion was created to compile the general consensus on which crypto are the most undervalued (Have massive potential to grow). Please list your coin(s) below and why do you think so?
That would probably be good old BTC ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

Hi Dudes...
What causes older Mobile Phones to Slow Down? Is it because the memory Read/Writes are failing?
Also, why is it, when a mobile phone is left for 6 months in a drawer, the touch screen fails on cheaper phones?
This tends not to happen with Samsung and Apple Phones, but overall, the cheaper the phone, the quicker it degrades....
I wonder sometimes if the touchscreen corrodes or something...
Mainly they just get bloated with apps and processes.

Yikes, not sure if I'd want to go out on that. It looks fun but terrifying.

Alright, forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I'm not too experienced when it comes to day trading.
So, lets say 100 people buy 10$ worth of a small altcoin; would that not cause it to skyrocket in value? I know that it wouldn't last forever (just a simple pump) but it would probably get pumped enough to allow the original people to sell and get a little cash. Am I right or do I just have no idea what I'm saying?

I have been using a public VPN for a long time now and recently so many people have been using it so I want to know which are the best VPN? or should I just buy a private one?
I'd personally recommend Nord VPN. It's very secure and reasonable priced.

I've heard the term used a lot, and this may be a well known term, but what exactly does it mean to "Short" when trading?

I believe no one religion teaches hostility.
You haven't read the Koran then, have you? It literally demands Muslims kill all non-Muslims. If that doesn't teach hostility then I'm not sure what does.

If you were the one, Satoshi Nakamoto What would YOU do at this very important time with bitcoins life?
Probably continue to hide my identity; I'd hate to be on some government's or person's hit list.

Not an original topic, but there is a reason why it keeps coming up. No matter how much we love BTC, confirmations take way too long!
<Insert standard response> "Transactions are instant, and full confirmation is usually done in under 1 hour... both of which are better than credit cards."
<Reality check> Merchants complete your sale 'almost instantly' with credit cards, and sometimes make you wait almost an hour when paying with BTC, which really does not work well in the real world.... better point of sale options are needed ASAP.
Yes, very much so yes! Perhaps if the community could agree on Segwit or BTU things would speed up, but for now transactions are so unbelievably slow (even when you're paying .5$ transaction fees). I really do think something should be done, I'm just not sure what.

If you own business that you advertise in your signature, does that count as an paid signature? Because I see you added smoothie. He advertise his business in his profile signature.
Could you list name by alphabet? So we could easily browse each others.
-- what makes you think that you wearing a signature of your own business and thus monetizing your account and this forum are better than those who wear a commercial/paid signature? yeah, lets ignore everyone wearing a paid signature and miss out on posts by,lets say Shorena or others just because we dislike sigspammers don't throw the baby out with the bathwater
-- Hey guys, if you have a paid signature then OP is not going to see you post, hence why I'm quoting it it. I think @Febo and @velten make good points and I do have to agree with them.

hey, i am thinking of learning to make money of bitcoin, i understand it takes alot of work, my question is to make money of btc etc and alternative courancies how much learning do i realistically have to do and how much work and dedication, how hard is it to be succesfull?
Your best bet would be to get a regular job and then convert some of that money to bitcoin; although you could day trade or do freelance work.

Use electrum. After installing just go to File > Open and select your wallet.dat file to check it's balance.

Software wallets are better if you can use them, otherwise make sure to use an online wallet that only allows you to access your funds.
