21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: April 11, 2023, 06:12:50 AM
since its establishment in 2016, ethereum has immediately taken second place on coinmarketcap and shifted xrp which has occupied it for years. Until now, ethereum is still the trust of investors by having the largest number of market caps among other altcoins. at the time of opening the price of eth was less than $ 8, and had penetrated the price of more than $ 6k. imagine for people who understand it at that time, of course, very tempting
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is currently the best crypto to invest in? on: April 11, 2023, 06:01:57 AM
when it comes to the best investments in the world of cryptocurrency, supported by those of you who are still beginners who don't really understand cryptocurrencies, then I suggest investing in bitcoin, where this coin is the safest coin in the crypto world. over time you can learn about altcoins which are more promising big profits if we can understand them, but also have big risks. and most investors are currently implementing a decentralized system, namely buying coins and altcoins to further increase profits but remain safe
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: April 11, 2023, 05:51:45 AM
Thousands of projects have been started in the past few years, and some of them need this time in this cycle to be forgotten. Meanwhile, new projects, ecosystems emerge and they develop and look for users. There are good opportunities in these times of the market. Altcoins are currently 90% down most of them, I still think some of them are cheap.
Yes, but remember the exact same bearish times, such as after 2017, when the exact same new projects with ecosystems that were presenting great chances no longer recovered. Remember EOS, which raised crazy money on ICOs. Now it's just nothing. And in fact, almost all ICOs of that time are now dead. The same will be true of current projects in the future. You have to remember to make a profit, but you also have to learn to forget about projects.

Many projects from that time didn't follow the trend in the crypto space so that's one of many reasons making a lot of people abandon that project and made that project become weak cause no users in it, Right now many new projects that have Play to Earn, Metaverse, or NFT as their background to attract new investors.
we must be able to distinguish which ones are worth investing in for the long term and which ones should follow the trend. projects that follow the trend will die in time, and thrive when the trend is up because of the support of the latest news and discoveries about cryptocurrncy, look at the ICO projects that are not as bright as they used to be, we know NFTs which will eventually fade too. they are big because of news and trends
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy altcoins because they are top altcoins on: April 11, 2023, 05:44:33 AM
if you look at the OP list from year to year, it can be seen that bitcoin seems to be unshakable. and when we talk about altcoins, altcoins have a changing position, but since the arrival of ethereum in 2016, ethereum has immediately occupied number 2 on the coin marketcap and shifted xrp, so far ethereum is still the excellent altcoin for investing. if possible, don't invest in new altcoins or mid to lower boards, and of course it has to be short term, not for investing, because the level of risk is high
25  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you survived during covid19 ? on: April 09, 2023, 04:46:27 AM
Access restrictions are enforced in each country.  fortunately in my area it is still safe and there are many other activities with strict health protocol rules by taking a body temperature test every day.  when it comes to food, no one dies of hunger, because the government supplies basic needs such as groceries and local residents always pay attention and distribute groceries to people who are subject to quarantine
The best practice is to stay low key - stay away from gatherings as much as you can
Life is tough - it's better to focus on your health more than other  things
Staying away from meetings is a difficult thing for me as a factory employee who will meet hundreds of other employees.  but don't worry, now it's back to normal, everyone is back to their usual activities without any restrictions and temperature tests every day and the mandatory use of masks is gone
at that time I also could not avoid contact with other people because of the demands of work. so apart from taking care of myself, I also always increase my body's immunity, so I don't get sick easily, and even though I was exposed to Covid at that time, at least I was still able to survive even though I was just isolating myself at home, because it seems like most of the people who were exposed even though it was only self-isolation, were lucky. still have a job so it's not difficult to eat
26  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving is Wasting? on: April 09, 2023, 04:34:54 AM
Nothing i wasted when you decided yo invest or to save up your money, but more interestingly it's better to invest on a profitable investment as an asset, we also need to be careful on the kind of investment we made, some of them will end up taking money from us instead of adding to it, any wrong investment made is as a waste of money and nothing more, we must be careful abd observe well before taking a decision on what to do.
we should invest in areas that we understand, otherwise we may suffer losses because of it. therefore it is hoped that after understanding it, you will get the profit as expected. saving is also not something wrong, depending on the goal. when we save and just for holding money so that when we get a sudden need we can immediately use it to overcome it. but if saving for the long term maybe this is not quite right, because inflation is always a threat
27  Economy / Economics / Re: If the dollar/fiat was worthless! on: April 09, 2023, 04:27:55 AM
What happens to the value of bitcoin if the dollar goes to 0? Will bitcoin also loose value because the dollar is worthless?
If the dollar is worthless, we can compare Bitcoin with gold, oil, gas, rice, burger, cigarette, sake, iPhones, Netflix, and other goods. So, I don't worry about it.

I don't know why people out there always compare Bitcoin with the dollar?, I don't know why it's necessary because our local exchange didn't use dollars but Rupiah. So if the dollar is worthless, I will compare it rupiah to buy goods, or if all fiat is useless, I will go to Elsavador to buy a burger. Simple.

don't worry, we wouldn't die without dollars.

the dollar is only a unit for comparison in the world so that it is easier to benchmark as if it were chosen as a universal currency throughout the world, but indeed the dollar is not doing well, but isn't there still a lot of currency in the world that might be more appropriate as a comparison which is already worldwide, and of course why worry about all this, because there are many ways as an exchange rate
28  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The patience to hold is a gift on: April 08, 2023, 06:48:40 AM
Holding is easy and at the same rime not easy.
Some people may have the mind to hold but dont another source of income to sustain them after they have invested  all they have in bitcoin.
While some people who have many stream of inflow of income but can't afford the patients to hold for a longer time.
Holding is really a precious gift if you only have  the patients.
It is one major thing any beginner bitcoin investor should know and learn before attempting to invest.
Holding is never easy atall,it takes people. Who have determined that despite anything, they are ready to wait and see what comes out in the nearest future. Most people don't have the courage to stay and exercise patience because they know life is too short to have such patience waiting for what you've not known whether it will yield great result or it will at the end of the day, bring out nothing as profit. It is just good to have this believe that anything can happen in the nearest future,You might be fortunate to get good and desired result as outcome,or you may end up regretting why you invested in such project. It all depends on our mindset. The most important thing is that you try first, and exercise patience.
holding money is not because it's cold it's really hard to do, because the money can be needed at any time, and we can't think healthily, because we always hope to experience a pump soon. it is not easy for someone to hold on without good scientific basis, because later it will affect an unstable psychological level, and finally make mistakes from that unclear thinking
29  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: one mistake that crypto beginners should be aware of ? on: April 08, 2023, 06:38:21 AM
There are a lot of mistakes being made by crypto beginners. I think they made mistakes like choosing an inappropriate crypto exchange platform, thinking only about pricing instead of ROIS, lack of research and planning, and underestimating cyber security. If they were aware of such things, it will be more beneficial for them.

Yeah that was the beginners mistake, they are full of excitement and they are always do things quickly and wanted to earn quickly and they will loss at the end, people that was new in crypto has a big chance of lossing it is not easy to earn in crypto that is why it needs a lot of research specially on using exchange.
besides that beginners usually like to dramatize situations, where every loss or win is overly responded to, so that this actually backfires for themselves, considering that they have not been able to control themselves. but indeed this is part of the learning process where almost everyone experiences it, but we must immediately get up so we can quickly adapt to the market
30  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Signals vs Own Analysis on: April 08, 2023, 06:28:00 AM
1. No one can generate signals with a 100% accuracy.
2. When the winning percentage is 80%-90%, we have to make use of all the signals to get that percentage.

Impossible to have that 100% accuracy. Trading signals are just meant to give us the possible outcomes that a certain trend will go referring to where the trading indicators result. Really hard to trust a trading signal group claiming a 100% accuracy to their banners just to attract new users to paid money for it.

It's better to work on our own and do the work for ourselves. It will take time to at least understand the market behaviour but we will get there soon.
Besides not being 100% reliable, group signals seem to be self-deception, considering that it makes us lazy to learn about trading. until later life is spent just looking for the best signal, even though there is no perfect strategy. therefore it is your own abilities that should be sharpened so that they can become provisions to be able to trade well. therefore don't be lazy to process, because money will follow us later
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do women engage in crypto trading on: April 06, 2023, 02:15:23 AM
Most persons may say no but YES is the actual answer
In the ideal sense the dominance of crypto currencies by women is in great progress. Bitcoin is  the most popular crypto currency and therefore a currency of such will be dominated either now or in the future.
I know several women who are involved in trading activities. And for those who are really used to it, it becomes very good. They are quite thorough and wise, moreover, they want to really study diligently and thoroughly. Their consideration is quite mature and their emotional control is very good. Even I admit that and lost from how professional they are. However, there are also several other women who are simply not suitable for trading activities because they are constrained by emotional control that is not yet good, moreover, sometimes there are those who panic quickly with market conditions that change drastically and their unwillingness to learn more about analyzing the market, they just want to be notified when to enter the market and take profits. So, maybe this will depend on each of their personalities.
sometimes we focus on trading is a job that is a big risk, and women are human beings who are gentle and not suitable for dealing with something tough, so men are more suitable to do trading work. even though in the current era of the world, men and women are the same, who is capable there is no gender difference, even though in fact it cannot be separated from the gentle nature of women earlier, so that the number of male traders is greater, but not many can trade correctly
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today is the story of my investment in Bitcoin on: April 06, 2023, 02:03:01 AM
So, yeah, like you are seeming to say nara1892, there can be some advantage to finding some kind of an investment point in which you are feeling sufficiently aggressive in your investment into BTC because if you are too whimpy, then even if BTC goes up a lot, the whimpiness of the investment may well end up not making up for the fact that the there really was not enough there to actually make meaningful profits, and a similar thing could be true for those people who end up investing too much, and then when the BTC price moves against their position and then fails to go up for a long time, they end up getting reckt.. or maybe even having to sell a lot (or maybe even all) of their BTC.

So yeah there may well be a decently broad range of balance that still is going to be able to work in order to become richie as fuck (without guarantees of course), but at the same time if you are either too far on one side (such as too whimpy) or the other (such as too aggressive) then you end up either not really profiting with any significance, or you end up losing most or all of your investment (or having to start back up over again from a worse position than if you had been more prudent and conservative rather than gambling with your investment into bitcoin by engaging in overly risky conduct).

So in this condition, if I look at the overall strategy, it is clear that it is very important in this regard. Indeed, in some cases being greedy especially for bitcoin can still be said to be good but of course there are strategies and moments that must be seen because not all greed to be in bitcoin can be good and one of the reasons is as you said when everything is too much in terms of "crybaby or aggressive" not everything will go well.
On the other hand, standing too far and leaving is also not the right choice, we need to balance this so that in the end we can be wiser in taking action and taking advantage of every available momentum.
Greed or aggressiveness will always be in our minds, but until now I can feel it's better to be able to control myself, even though we can't be separated from emotions, because that's human nature. from understanding the characteristics of bitcoin regarding the bullish or bearish season, we will be more comfortable in reacting to it and of course fluctuations are not an obstacle, if what we hold is bitcoin. let's say for example when it's bearish, why are we selling, isn't it better to look for a buy position to collect assets. hence the need to put cold money into action
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince a sceptical person to buy Bitcoin ? on: April 06, 2023, 01:53:12 AM
Although within this community Bitcoin is practically the only currency in which everyone believes, just look around a bit and we will find thousands of people who think otherwise.
At this point I wonder, what reasons should we give these people to make them realise that Bitcoin is a right choice? The first argument that comes to mind to convince a person who is sceptical about Bitcoin, is first of all that with Bitcoin you no longer need to delegate the custody of your money to a third party (banks, mutual funds, etc.): you are the master and you hold them. What else would you add?

Don't convince people to do action which is against on their will. You might get accused for doing illegal activities and want to victimized them if you pressure them to do something they don't know.

Better let them discover the whole aspect about crypto and show your own result because skeptical people are result oriented and they want to see if you are earning good with it before it catch their interest to participate on things they discover.
Usage of Bitcoin isn't illegal; thus, it's unlikely that he'd be accused of that. However, it's impossible to convince someone who's unwilling to listen and, more importantly, who simply isn't interested in Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies. It doesn't necessarily appeal to everyone; some praise it and some don't. Would you convince someone to like you? No, because it's pointless. Even if you actually manage to convince someone to purchase Bitcoin, there's a high chance of being blamed if money is lost on their end.

Just move on; not everything revolves around Bitcoin OP, and I understand your frustration because it's likely to have helped you, but not everyone wants to get to know more about it.
we focus on ourselves, as long as what we do is positive for ourselves. So far bitcoin has played a big role for me, so I will also respect it and believe in it, especially now that I still have the opportunity to earn money. if someone has a different opinion with us, then just let them be because not everyone's thoughts will be the same, and I'm not going to defend myself desperately just to be able to agree with me
34  Economy / Economics / Re: Money hardly come this days! Why? on: April 05, 2023, 05:49:52 AM
When difficulties occur, the first thing is to find a solution, when we are at school we are taught many things about problems and usually solve them with good grades, when these problems arise in real terms, we have to look for solutions, money problems are difficult to come because we rely too much on comfort that has happened, think hard to find a solution.
Indeed money is everywhere and as long as you know the method on how to get it, you won't have much problems in regards of money. The thing is, people nowadays only look for jobs or opportunity to work which is why they usually think money is not around but in reality opportunities are the ones that are lacking and competition for that specific job you want is also very high. There are people also that are very creative and resourceful when it comes to finding ways to make money, just like how it is a trend nowadays to use AI to make scripts for videos, and unlike before that you'll have to think for a new and more attracting scripts to be used on videos. It is just that people only depend on what we conventionally/traditionally use, such as going to school and getting employed, coz it is a sure fire way to earn money. IMO it depends on how you really utilize your resources around you, or even make use of your talents and hobbies to earn money.
talent that has our skills can be used as capital to earn money. of course, of the many people there will be those who need our services, in any field. especially if we have specialization in a certain field it will be even easier to get money. on the other hand, if we don't feel we have the skills, then we should be able to create opportunities to earn money, even if we fail to become friends with the dean. and that's how life should be full of struggles
35  Other / Off-topic / Re: Prepare for the life when you get old on: April 05, 2023, 05:37:58 AM

The sad truth in reality is that a lot of people that should retire in 60s is broke and hardly survive. Ive seen a lot of documentaries and people around me that they are 60 but still they working because if they stop and rest they dont have nothing to it. The problem with this is that you've been employed for how many years but still you dont have savings for your future once you are old and mostly if you have benefits then that's good but how about those contractual person they dont have benefits at all and underpaid. Sad truth but no matter how we save for future we still caught off short and un able to prepare finance when we are old
indeed a dilemma when we are old but do not have good finances to enjoy our old age. if we have children and are already working and attention maybe not too concerning, but imagine for those who are not so lucky, of course it is very sad to see. therefore from now on I start learning trading for my retirement, with the hope that by that time I will be good at trading and can work to stay productive, without many burdens of life
36  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks are a business, and you are the cash cow on: April 05, 2023, 05:27:41 AM
Banks are indeed a problem at the moment, we are too dependent on banks so that when we deposit money there will be many rules, and if we want to take it then it takes a long process and time, if we borrow from banks and are late then large fines will be applied, but if we are on time or before due they just say thank you.
To be honest, they are not considered a problem by a large, or the largest part of the human population, and that is because they fulfill the needs of almost everyone when it comes to managing, storing, or using their finances though it costs them money, they seem to have no other option but to use their services and products.

The process might be time-consuming, they might charge fees, and you may have to submit a whole lot of documents to get a simple thing done, but at the end of the day, they are the only ones that will do the work you need to be done, so we have no option other than to become cash cows for their business.
even though we know the bank feels like a cash cow, but we cannot do what we want and of course we have to follow their rules, and we cannot be separated from the bank, especially if we are businessmen, of course there will be many transactions from our colleagues to expedite the business we have, but we can respond by knowing the nature of the bank. banks are not the best place to save, but we need banks to make money from our jobs, I think so
37  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: April 05, 2023, 05:17:12 AM

The average rent for a one-bedroom apartment is between €300 and €400 at best; thus, I was thinking that taking a loan is as costly as paying rent per month, but after 15-20 years, you end up with a house. My main concerns are the following: First, if you're in a long-term relationship like myself, you can never be 100% sure that you'll be with that person in 20 or 30 years from now, which might prevent you from opting for a loan. Secondly, you need to be certain that the location or city of the property to be bought is convenient for future job offers and so on. Thirdly, because a loan is a many-year commitment, there's no guarantee that you'll be able to afford the monthly payment 15 years from now.
Mathematical calculations like that, friend, why not take out a loan to buy a place to live instead of having to spend money every month to pay rent. Isn't that what always crosses your mind?
If you want to take out a loan, what is the collateral? lenders (banks or other lending institutions will not simply disburse money without collateral). Borrowing money from moneylenders is not a good idea, especially in large amounts. It's like killing yourself because besides having to pay monthly installments, the interest is very high.

Wanting to have a private residence is a good idea, you should start from now by setting aside some money from your monthly income. Your concern about the three points above will increasingly make you trapped in a situation, you have to take a stand. As a man, you have an important role to play in providing a decent life for your spouse and children. Keep going, then take a stand after getting the best decision.
if we have settled in an area and have a job in that place too, then it would be better to have our own place to live, so we don't pay monthly or yearly rent, which of course feels like wasting money. but if our jobs change, of course it will be more practical to rent, especially if it is an installment loan, of course it is less practical, where the installments have not been completed, but we move work assignments elsewhere. so I think it depends on the situation and conditions
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: I missed the bottom or i have time to invest on: April 04, 2023, 12:37:53 PM
I think the time target will only make our psychology disturbed, therefore I make it a habit to buy it with cold money, with the price target that I plan, because no one will know when the real bullish season will come. if we target the next 6 months and the price may still be sideways whether we will continue to hold it or sell it out of frustration, therefore psychology must be maintained as best as possible to be able to achieve our goals
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are you still strong holding btc on: April 04, 2023, 12:28:01 PM
Until now, not only do I keep holding it, but I'm still adding investment with the availability of funds that I have, until later at least I will release some when the price is in the previous ATH area, and I will continue to hold the rest until I form a new ATH, and that's also not my plan. selling the whole thing, because I will be holding part of it for the long term, if it crashes again, I will buy it back at a cheap price
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thanks to bitcoin on: April 04, 2023, 12:21:05 PM
Where can I get a job where I get paid in bitcoin?

Just ask the people contracting you to pay in BTC or buy from your wages the BTC you like.

Don't expect it to happen easily. Currently, Bitcoin is not legal tender in many countries. So it's very rare that you can find a job that directly gets Bitcoin payments. It does exist but it's rare you need to work looking for it. Indeed, if this forum can, but there is an effort made. Because the most BTC paid jobs here is Signature. Although there are others such as design, programmers or those related to crypto or marketing. So there are conditions that sometimes you must meet first to be able to join.
it's hard to find it, but why do we bother with that problem, for example, being paid with fiat, we can also buy bitcoin easily, and we can buy it according to our free budget to invest. and that is also what I have done until now, where I am grateful to know bitcoin so that I can fix my family's economy. the bullish season is the season I've been waiting for, until now I'm still trying to invest according to my ability, so that later I can buy the things I want
