Hey guys,
I'd like to warn you about the Guarium project. They had a giant bounty campaign with around 50k participants (judging by telegram group members).
They had all information from the participants. Necessary accounts, payout adress, also proof of the fulfilled tasks. Shortly before the payout they invented some unnecessary form you had to fill out to receive the bounty tokens. After closing it there was no chance to gain the tokens again.
They only communicated it in the telegram group, no information per e-mail, twitter or other channels, so it was really easy to miss. Just keep in mind it is a group with 50k members, as if anyone could read all messages.
So I am not saying that the project itself is a scam. But the managing is really dishonest and I'd like to advise you to handle them with care. In my experience good project are always honest and open and just stay far away from anything even remotely shady as this is.

Great idea! I am sure not many people will download some program to claim the bounty ( I am one of them)

The (bitcointalk signature) spreadsheet only has 1.380.531 OPEN coins to be distributed, even though they said they will distribute 2.000.000. Anyone knows why is that?
The team is just passing me from one to another. And now Mr. Abhishek Punia is not answering my DM for more than a week...
You don't have to try to get justice. Bounty hunters have been expressing their dissatisfaction for more than a month, but the Open team is not taking any action. You won't change anything! Read this thread starting with this post: hhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2151082.msg40641801#msg40641801. Then you will understand that it is useless to find out the relations with them. It's bad... I am at peace (I guess) that they have reduced the amount to be distributed (from 12 mio) - they have reduced it too much but, ok. They have made announcement that they will do that etc. But now, this distribution have no sense at all... What is this number? I received a second bounty payment a few minutes ago, so I think there is more to come dont worry |

We are planning to start the token distribution for the bounty supporters next week. Only 20% of you passed the KYC for the bounty program participants. To make the process quick and clear for you, we created the following list. How to know that you passed the KYC? Please, check the status in your personal account and in the spreadsheet. You can find the KYC status in the left bottom corner in your personal account. For those, who had some issues with automated KYC, your current status is available in the spreadsheet only. If you see the “Passed” status, then everything is ok and no need to worry, your tokens will be transferred to you during the next week. If you haven’t started with KYC yet, here is what you do:– Register at the baltic.fund website – Confirm the registration via your e-mail – Press the KYC button in your personal account and follow the instructions Please, keep in mind that by registering at the website and ticking the boxes you agree that you are not a citizen/resident of the USA and its territories. Also, please pay attention, that your name and surname at the registration must coincide with the name in your ID and your ID must be of an international type with a photo, otherwise, you won’t pass the automated KYC. Hello everyone. As you may have noticed, our scheduled beta launch did not happen. We did not foresee this and we are not proud of it ourselves. One of our head developers had an issue arise and without him here on Saturday, launch was impossible. Our team went to sleep Friday night expecting to wake up to a functional exchange but instead woke up to a nightmare scenario that not only disrupted our team’s holiday weekend but also served as a major setback for the entire project.
We have already started hiring new developers to help us move forward. Two weeks ago, we said we would make up for the delay by adding new features and polishing our user experience, and we did, up until Saturday. No one on our team planned for this, and we are all filled with regret and disappointment. With that said, we must move forward. We expect to have a platform ready to bring online later this week, however trading might not be immediately available. Trading should be enabled shortly after platform release, at which point beta will officially launch and will last an expected 4-6 weeks. Beta will only be open to contributors, and we expect many several changes during this period, including both UI updates and the addition of new features.
What happened Saturday hurt our contributors, investors, bounty participants, and us. The followers and supporters of Bitmora makes for a rather small community and we rely on each and every one of you to spread the word of our movement throughout the crypto community and we feel we have let you down. We will make this right, but we have a lot of work to do internally to make that happen. We will keep everyone updated over the coming days, we hope to have good news soon.
Really sorry to hear this. But please make absolutely sure, that the next launch day will work out. Don't set another date you can't keep up with or people will lose trust. I am still completely behind the project though! |
